Honestly these voicelines would make the game a whole lot better, especially vanny’s she actually sounds like a threat while the one we got sounds like she try’s too hard.
It would've added so much more to the game if Vanny's giggling could've been heard in the background randomly throughout the game, making it actually feel like she was always there, watching
That was the actual plan. Vanny was supposed to always know where you are, that's why Gregory couldn't just stay in Freddy's dressing room until 6 am, cause eventually Vanny would appear. And no matter where Gregory went, Vanny would always find him, which would have practically given a time limit on every mission. And the entire game was supposed to be time based, time would always go on, no matter what mission you are on.
“Gregory, Im not nearly that annoying, am i?” That line got me. Infact all of Freddys more human comversation like lines always make me laugh because he sounds so innocent
They should've kept the crying in. Anyone in Gregory's situation would've been miserable, it would've made sense for him to have at least one breakdown of sorts during the night.
As someone with a stupid amount of patience and tolerance, I didn't even find that "You won't get tired of my voice will you?!" line that annoying. Valley girl Chica can stay in the unused game files
At least they gave Cassie the emotional depth that they left out from Gregory (through things like her cries near the end of the DLC), but knowing that there was an entire array of unused sniffles, crying, and other scared sounds that would’ve added a layer of sympathy+realism to Gregory as a character just makes me so sad… It’s crazy that something as small as adding these to different points in the gameplay could properly put into perspective the fact that Gregory is a child being hunted down by monsters, having to find a way out basically on his own half of the six hours he’s been trapped there (or longer), and how terrifying that must be. Even as snarky and sarcastic as he typically is, he’s still just a kid throughout everything he’s doing.
i really wish this was the game we’d gotten. it sounds dynamic and vanessa had so much of a bigger role. even the small sniffles and cries from gregory wouldve been more than welcome, similar to how cassie in the dlc had small moments that made her feel human and three dimensional.

Now listening to these, I can see what the original storyline was gonna be. And honestly I wish they went with it. It seems like Vanessa was gonna have a way bigger role and maybe be playable. It seems like she was gonna be struggling with being possessed and have a both internal and external struggle with Afton. And it makes the princess quest ending so much more impactful, because Vanessa seemed like she was gonna be an Ally to Gregory. Also, there was more direction and help with gameplay with some of the voice lines. It makes me sad that the game was rushed. This gives so much personality to the game that we missed out on
Hearing Freddy's voice lines has me wondering what the original story line was supposed to be like. Mentions of a boiler room, an instant where it sounds like he turns on Gregory, then trying to convince the other animatronics what's really going on. Really interesting stuff
i'm watching this again after ruin dlc is out. in the dlc, there was something so human about hearing cassie cry, being able to hear her panicked breaths. i didn't realize the impact that small detail had on the experience until i remembered that the base game lacked it. it really adds a layer of authenticity and makes you feel more as if you're playing through a story than a game. hearing the unused lines of gregory's sniffles and cries just really shows me how much better the base game could've been with just a bit more time put into it.
Fr, like, I get some of Gregory's voice lines like him stating what you should do or him making "jokes" would feel weird in a game that's all about LORE but they give some much depth to the character because you can indentify with it and have a real conection with the character like how they conveyed so much feelings for a character we barely knew anything about in the scene where Cassie resets Roxy tho Gregory's is a special case since im pretty sure he was meant to be completely different from the one we got as shown by the fact that the game had so much emotional content cut from him as well as Vanessa
It is INCREDIBLY strange for a game to have THIS much unused content. Like absolutely insane. I think we all know the game got super rushed for some reason. I really hope they go back and add some of these features to be more on the original vision.

It sounds more like the story was painting her in good light, and possibly we were going to go with her or atleast somewhat trust her in game. Such as all her begging and pleading, not even mentioning how terrified she sounds when she says they'll never stop hunting Gregory.
it's a real pity that many of gregory's moans and cries weren't used, they really gave a lot more realism.also from freddy there were a lot of phrases that would have helped in the game phases where one gets stuck more often
I think they should've kept a ton more of Vanessa's voice lines in. When she's supposedly on the phone call, actually worried about Gregory's safety, it gives her character so much more depth that they could've worked with. A big-sister-little-brother type of bond between Vanessa and Gregory would have benefitted the story a lot. And when Gregory tells the bots to disassemble Vanny, he could've had a step back moment and realized that it was Vanessa; then come the tears. It would've given the story a lot more depth than what it was.
Those gregory lines wouldve saved a lot of time for those who were confused about where to go or what to do next because sometimes the game itself wouldnt tell you or not in an obvious way, or not quick enough because there is always something to run from. These lines give hints and also reminders of what to do next, and also gives him some more personality. I feel scammed that there were so many lines cut out when the game *needed* them for all those characters.
Gregory's unused grunts, breaths, and cries would have been great to bring more realism to the game, mainly him crying, because a normal child, alone in a place like that would be scared (But as we see in the game and the books, Gregory isn't a normal child)
Honestly, the unused Vanny voice lines are so cool. I can't understand why they didn't have them in the game. Like imagine wandering through a dark area, thinking you're safe, and just suddenly hearing the I SEE YOU echo around you! The screaming could be used for her jumpscare, and the various laugh tracks could be used after every appearance, sort of like an aftershock after you escape her. Also, those Vanessa lines suggest that in the original patch, Vanessa was supposed to help you. She also makes some explicit references to Princess Quest. Maybe she was trying to find them as well? Someone should make a mod of these man

OK this game clearly had a very different storyline to what was released. Freddy and Gregory talking about a boiler room and frozen endo? Freddy saying “I thought we were friends” and “superstaaar?” was fucking creepy. Vanessa seemed to be very kind and was obviously just trying to help Gregory, saving him from the fate of other children it seems, and that separates her more from Vanny than the released game. I really want to know what the original game was going to be, because I bet it would have been way creepier and unnerving than the actual thing (and with the release of Ruin, the stories may have linked together better)

Trinkets, knick knacks and doo dad's is actually used in the game. When the pass gets stuck in the machine and he tells Gregory to go to the gift shop where he gets the Mr. Hippo magnet.
I’m honestly pretty upset how most of Gregory’s lines ended up unused. He sounds so much like a normal human here. Like, these lines just give him more life than in the game. Especially the sniffling and crying. It reminds me of how much Cassie talks in the DLC, and she’s interacting with her environment. Seems like we could’ve gotten that for Gregory, if these lines hadn’t gone unused.
Everything Vanessa said was very informative, storytelling, good voice acting and she sounded like she genuinely wanted to help Gregory and get out herself 🧐
How come no one is mentioning how Monty is the only character with no unused voicelines? I know in the QnA streams Cameron Miller did he said they liked his voice so much they only wanted him to do one take, but considering how the entire story of Security Breach got changed seemingly last-minute you'd think there would be at least 1 unused Monty line/sound. This just confirms he's the best character I guess (he is unaffected by retcons).
It really sucks that they changed the story, if they did what they were originally planning (ex: It seems like there was gonna be a scene in a freezer like area) it could’ve been really cool! And maybe the game would stand out a bit more than the rest 🤷♀️

Based on the original teasers and the amount of Vanessa voice lines (including out of breath and grunting), she was definitely originally meant to be a playable character or maybe THE playable character

Hearing Gregory cry is heartbreaking for me. Makes me want to be there for him, to hug him close to console him and tell him everything's going to be okay. 😢
Someone made an animation using unused Chica voice lines and I thought it was a parody. I'm dying listening to this, she sounds barely older than Gregory, I can't-- Gregory sounds so much more _human_ as well. With more range of emotion (panicked wheezing and crying on top of his frustration and curiosity) and being way more helpful with tips and hints, though some more on-the-nose than others. Vanny being _much_ creepier and more fleshed out with her long and wandering lines meant to be friendly and enticing and apologetic. Don't even get me _started_ on Vanessa. She feels like she's genuinely trying to help like she's scared and trapped and frustrated. But at the same time, if you know she's possessed, _every single line she says_ takes on a wildly different tone and feels downright terrifying and sad at the same time because even if she's being genuine she's still against Gregory. If Vanessa's story was kept in the game, she'd be my favorite character in the series--more than Sun and Moon, and I love my jester bois.
I truly wish that we got to see what the scrapped story was because the lines for Vanessa makes it seem we were going to play as her through a section. And the lines with freddy confronting the other animatronics which would have given him some more development with the other animatronics and him getting hacked would have been cool and creepy segment
Also makes it seem like Vanessa possibly actually wanted to help Gregory, so there were actually be an even bigger reason why we might want to help her in one of the endings. Also putting a much bigger distinction between her normal self and when she's Vanny
Also the "you sure collected a lot of toys" might have actually been in reference to when you go around opening those gift boxes, and might have actually made them useful aside from just being a collectible
i plan to make one day an animated movie about SB. which will be much darker than the game (scarier is just a subjective matter, i would only try). and many of these lines will be present for sure. like Freddy saying those lines to defend Greg toward his corrupted friends woulddefinitely add to the SB plot. and this would be nice that firstly Vanessa chase Gregory like the game cause it's her job but then after that him and Fred explain to her what happen in the Pizzaplex, Vanessa would ends up to help them

I like the voice but it's a bit over the top and can get a little irritating at times. Not to mention I think the tone for some of her voice lines sounds better in the final version. Also a lot of people hate the voice.

Something tells me that Not only was the game supposed to be different, but that the game would have you possibly play as both Vanessa and Gregory. Vanessa has clearance for certain while Gregory doesn't and Gregory can fit into smaller areas while Vanessa can't. I don't know, but something tells me that Vanessa was supposed to have broken free from Glitchtrap's control somehow and then teamed up with Gregory and Freddy. I know it's a bit far-fetched but maybe it's just me wanting Security Breach to have been Like what I said above.

Could be a reference to the opening or GGY I mean the Mimic appeared in Ruin so I wouldn’t be surprised if the other Tales from the Pizzaplex books were referenced or mentioned in the game. Also the Freddy voiceline about his finger being a lighter did make it into the game.

Telling from these voicelines, I definitely think the game originally would have had a set path you were going to follow with some open areas you can explore before being allowed to explore the pizza plex freely instead of the final game where the game was entirely open world but you still had to unlock areas. I think the game would have definitely worked if it was first going to be set on a path and then becoming open world when you choose to stay to explore and unlock more new areas. I remembered how way before the game came out, I thought they were gonna do something where the levels were actually based on the time, but then seeing it now, I think it works as your games progression, but I think it would definitely work in the scrapped survival mode Something else I'm also thinking about are some of Vanessa's voice lines. Was she also going to be a playable character at one point or was it for scrapped cutscenes and moments with her and whenever she's around where Gregory is at? Some of Freddy's voicelines I've actually heard in the game. Either they weren't in the game at first then later they were put into the game or I managed to get them through special means. The dancing rabbit lady one I've actually heard in the game when freddy was in the elevator Idk why but the staff bot voices sound adorable but feel a little sad to hear 😂
Most of these voice lines were really good. And A lot of them didn’t seem out of character at all. I believe if The team took their time and didn’t get so easily pressured from fans, they could’ve used like half of these.
"I'm not going out there without a flashlight" is used, it plays after the lights shut off if you try to leave the desk without grabbing the flashlight in the daycare "Would you like to take a short survery about your experience?" is also used, it plays during the Kitchen office escape section. A lot of these are used, actually.
A lot these sound similar cause a new version was added like Freddy saying “your are bleeding” was changed to “I feel you are broken” or something like that
One of Roxy's unused voiceline say 1,2,3 go because there was meant to be a part where you had to drive a kart at roxy raceway and not just having a cinematic

Vanessa was an actual security guard who tried to help Gregory but she also had to overcome Glitchtrap's manipulation. Gregory was a lost kid in this big ass empty mall. Freddy actually mentions he's injured and not just "broken" because sure that 1983 dream had something to this post 2023 brand new location. Surely. The game felt more connected than the final product.
Now that I think of it vannessa sounded like she WAS ACTUALLY trying to HELP and I think she knew about vanny so she was trying to get him before vanny cuz something about what she said " it won't be like the last one" it's like someone was there before like the missing kids poster in a ending so I don't think vannessa is the real vanny, it also sounds like she's crying as if it was her child, also when she said " there's more going on here then you realize" so she knows what's going on
honestly based on these voice lines and the trailer, i feel like the game had something completely different going on and planned but then it just came down to what it is now

I'm assuming the dismantle Vanny ending wasn't originally a comic ending? Edit: And I especially love how much more closer Freddy is to Gregory through the dialogue. And it sounds like all the endings would've been either a full cutscene with voice lines or fully playable parts

Congrats on them finally using some of the unused assets they kept in the files, but no fuckin shot was the Mimic or anything they did with Ruin planned from the start. The cut Afton lines in that early trailer nail that coffin shut. Because even if you wanna say the Mimic was saying that, and it was copying Afton, then why not use the voice actors who previously played Afton? Not like they died before SB or Ruin were done. It's not that deep, dude. SW just changed their minds again on whether to use assets they already had.

Now listening to these, I can see what the original storyline was gonna be. And honestly I wish they went with it. It seems like Vanessa was gonna have a way bigger role and maybe be playable. It seems like she was gonna be struggling with being possessed and have a both internal and external struggle with Afton. And it makes the princess quest ending so much more impactful, because Vanessa seemed like she was gonna be an Ally to Gregory. Also, there was more direction and help with gameplay with some of the voice lines. It makes me sad that the game was rushed. This gives so much personality to the game that we missed out on

Hearing Freddy's voice lines has me wondering what the original story line was supposed to be like. Mentions of a boiler room, an instant where it sounds like he turns on Gregory, then trying to convince the other animatronics what's really going on. Really interesting stuff

There was a boiler room in fnaf dlc and didn't we freeze that animation if chasing us maybe they took his costume and left his endo or smt
i'm watching this again after ruin dlc is out. in the dlc, there was something so human about hearing cassie cry, being able to hear her panicked breaths. i didn't realize the impact that small detail had on the experience until i remembered that the base game lacked it. it really adds a layer of authenticity and makes you feel more as if you're playing through a story than a game. hearing the unused lines of gregory's sniffles and cries just really shows me how much better the base game could've been with just a bit more time put into it.
Also they used one of Roxy’s un used voice lines “ GIVE ME BACK MY EYES!” In ruin where it feels more in place
Fr, like, I get some of Gregory's voice lines like him stating what you should do or him making "jokes" would feel weird in a game that's all about LORE but they give some much depth to the character because you can indentify with it and have a real conection with the character like how they conveyed so much feelings for a character we barely knew anything about in the scene where Cassie resets Roxy tho Gregory's is a special case since im pretty sure he was meant to be completely different from the one we got as shown by the fact that the game had so much emotional content cut from him as well as Vanessa

It sounds more like the story was painting her in good light, and possibly we were going to go with her or atleast somewhat trust her in game. Such as all her begging and pleading, not even mentioning how terrified she sounds when she says they'll never stop hunting Gregory.
it's a real pity that many of gregory's moans and cries weren't used, they really gave a lot more realism.also from freddy there were a lot of phrases that would have helped in the game phases where one gets stuck more often

I think they should've kept a ton more of Vanessa's voice lines in. When she's supposedly on the phone call, actually worried about Gregory's safety, it gives her character so much more depth that they could've worked with. A big-sister-little-brother type of bond between Vanessa and Gregory would have benefitted the story a lot. And when Gregory tells the bots to disassemble Vanny, he could've had a step back moment and realized that it was Vanessa; then come the tears. It would've given the story a lot more depth than what it was.

Those gregory lines wouldve saved a lot of time for those who were confused about where to go or what to do next because sometimes the game itself wouldnt tell you or not in an obvious way, or not quick enough because there is always something to run from. These lines give hints and also reminders of what to do next, and also gives him some more personality. I feel scammed that there were so many lines cut out when the game *needed* them for all those characters.

Honestly, the unused Vanny voice lines are so cool. I can't understand why they didn't have them in the game. Like imagine wandering through a dark area, thinking you're safe, and just suddenly hearing the I SEE YOU echo around you! The screaming could be used for her jumpscare, and the various laugh tracks could be used after every appearance, sort of like an aftershock after you escape her. Also, those Vanessa lines suggest that in the original patch, Vanessa was supposed to help you. She also makes some explicit references to Princess Quest. Maybe she was trying to find them as well? Someone should make a mod of these man

OK this game clearly had a very different storyline to what was released. Freddy and Gregory talking about a boiler room and frozen endo? Freddy saying “I thought we were friends” and “superstaaar?” was fucking creepy. Vanessa seemed to be very kind and was obviously just trying to help Gregory, saving him from the fate of other children it seems, and that separates her more from Vanny than the released game. I really want to know what the original game was going to be, because I bet it would have been way creepier and unnerving than the actual thing (and with the release of Ruin, the stories may have linked together better)

I’m honestly pretty upset how most of Gregory’s lines ended up unused. He sounds so much like a normal human here. Like, these lines just give him more life than in the game. Especially the sniffling and crying.
It reminds me of how much Cassie talks in the DLC, and she’s interacting with her environment. Seems like we could’ve gotten that for Gregory, if these lines hadn’t gone unused.
Everything Vanessa said was very informative, storytelling, good voice acting and she sounded like she genuinely wanted to help Gregory and get out herself 🧐

I know in the QnA streams Cameron Miller did he said they liked his voice so much they only wanted him to do one take, but considering how the entire story of Security Breach got changed seemingly last-minute you'd think there would be at least 1 unused Monty line/sound.
This just confirms he's the best character I guess (he is unaffected by retcons).
It really sucks that they changed the story, if they did what they were originally planning (ex: It seems like there was gonna be a scene in a freezer like area) it could’ve been really cool! And maybe the game would stand out a bit more than the rest 🤷♀️

Gregory sounds so much more _human_ as well. With more range of emotion (panicked wheezing and crying on top of his frustration and curiosity) and being way more helpful with tips and hints, though some more on-the-nose than others. Vanny being _much_ creepier and more fleshed out with her long and wandering lines meant to be friendly and enticing and apologetic. Don't even get me _started_ on Vanessa. She feels like she's genuinely trying to help like she's scared and trapped and frustrated. But at the same time, if you know she's possessed, _every single line she says_ takes on a wildly different tone and feels downright terrifying and sad at the same time because even if she's being genuine she's still against Gregory. If Vanessa's story was kept in the game, she'd be my favorite character in the series--more than Sun and Moon, and I love my jester bois.

I truly wish that we got to see what the scrapped story was because the lines for Vanessa makes it seem we were going to play as her through a section.
And the lines with freddy confronting the other animatronics which would have given him some more development with the other animatronics and him getting hacked would have been cool and creepy segment
Also makes it seem like Vanessa possibly actually wanted to help Gregory, so there were actually be an even bigger reason why we might want to help her in one of the endings. Also putting a much bigger distinction between her normal self and when she's Vanny
Also the "you sure collected a lot of toys" might have actually been in reference to when you go around opening those gift boxes, and might have actually made them useful aside from just being a collectible
i plan to make one day an animated movie about SB. which will be much darker than the game (scarier is just a subjective matter, i would only try). and many of these lines will be present for sure. like Freddy saying those lines to defend Greg toward his corrupted friends woulddefinitely add to the SB plot. and this would be nice that firstly Vanessa chase Gregory like the game cause it's her job but then after that him and Fred explain to her what happen in the Pizzaplex, Vanessa would ends up to help them

Something tells me that Not only was the game supposed to be different, but that the game would have you possibly play as both Vanessa and Gregory. Vanessa has clearance for certain while Gregory doesn't and Gregory can fit into smaller areas while Vanessa can't. I don't know, but something tells me that Vanessa was supposed to have broken free from Glitchtrap's control somehow and then teamed up with Gregory and Freddy. I know it's a bit far-fetched but maybe it's just me wanting Security Breach to have been Like what I said above.

Could be a reference to the opening or GGY I mean the Mimic appeared in Ruin so I wouldn’t be surprised if the other Tales from the Pizzaplex books were referenced or mentioned in the game. Also the Freddy voiceline about his finger being a lighter did make it into the game.

Telling from these voicelines, I definitely think the game originally would have had a set path you were going to follow with some open areas you can explore before being allowed to explore the pizza plex freely instead of the final game where the game was entirely open world but you still had to unlock areas. I think the game would have definitely worked if it was first going to be set on a path and then becoming open world when you choose to stay to explore and unlock more new areas. I remembered how way before the game came out, I thought they were gonna do something where the levels were actually based on the time, but then seeing it now, I think it works as your games progression, but I think it would definitely work in the scrapped survival mode
Something else I'm also thinking about are some of Vanessa's voice lines. Was she also going to be a playable character at one point or was it for scrapped cutscenes and moments with her and whenever she's around where Gregory is at?
Some of Freddy's voicelines I've actually heard in the game. Either they weren't in the game at first then later they were put into the game or I managed to get them through special means. The dancing rabbit lady one I've actually heard in the game when freddy was in the elevator

Most of these voice lines were really good. And A lot of them didn’t seem out of character at all. I believe if The team took their time and didn’t get so easily pressured from fans, they could’ve used like half of these.

Gregory was a lost kid in this big ass empty mall.
Freddy actually mentions he's injured and not just "broken" because sure that 1983 dream had something to this post 2023 brand new location. Surely.
The game felt more connected than the final product.

Now that I think of it vannessa sounded like she WAS ACTUALLY trying to HELP and I think she knew about vanny so she was trying to get him before vanny cuz something about what she said " it won't be like the last one" it's like someone was there before like the missing kids poster in a ending so I don't think vannessa is the real vanny, it also sounds like she's crying as if it was her child, also when she said " there's more going on here then you realize" so she knows what's going on

They should’ve kept Vanny’s lines and Gregory crying/grunting. It would’ve added so much more.
honestly based on these voice lines and the trailer, i feel like the game had something completely different going on and planned but then it just came down to what it is now

I would've loved to see what this game could've been, I know a lot of people say this for many things, but this actually sounds cool. I'm assuming the dismantle Vanny ending wasn't originally a comic ending?
Edit: And I especially love how much more closer Freddy is to Gregory through the dialogue. And it sounds like all the endings would've been either a full cutscene with voice lines or fully playable parts
I think if Gregory had more of his deleted lines, it would add more to the character, but because fans made the developers feel insanely rushed, they had to scrap so much content
i love the specific way freddy reiterates that he's too big for something lol
What's wild to me is that these unused lines, you could easily have kept them in the game. Particularly, Roxy's lines. Like, when she's going to pounce at Gregory after he takes the eyes

@@ShadowIsABaby Wasn't used in Security Breach, that's the whole point of them being in an "All UNUSED Voice lines" compilation. Congrats on them finally using some of the unused assets they kept in the files, but no fuckin shot was the Mimic or anything they did with Ruin planned from the start. The cut Afton lines in that early trailer nail that coffin shut.
Because even if you wanna say the Mimic was saying that, and it was copying Afton, then why not use the voice actors who previously played Afton? Not like they died before SB or Ruin were done.
