Dr. Strange has worked wonders for me because of his ability to drag in big bodies away - like jessica jones, spirit tigers, and even gamora - from locations that are losing anyways.
he's a late game winner you can skip a 6 power card and use his ability to support cards like miles, multiple man even lizard if he's close to losing -2 and you can bail him out with him
I've had opponents morphs back fire more often then not depending on my deck builds. F tier is fair because the card can lose you the game depending on the card it copies. Not many other cards can have that big of a negative impact on turn 3.
Morph has won me games and has lost me games. One game he transformed into Hulk and I won the location and the game. However, the very next game he transformed into the only rock in my opponent's hand that my Korg gave him. . . I lost that location and the game. So, yeah, Morph is definitely a coin flip.
Just throwing this out there as a new player, I'd like it if you showed every card's effect, I don't know every card yet and I felt puzzled at most of the cards that you didn't show the effects of

Haven't been playing long, but Morph is actually pretty good in and especially vs only pool 1. Usually doesn't copy cheap cards because those have been played. Averages above 3 energy pulls when played on 3.
Captain America in my opinion deserves to be in A tier as he is a better punisher in all regards. 2 main reasons why, first of all and most important is that the amount of points that he generates depends on you and not your oponent as is the case with the punisher. The only way to guarantee that the punisher plays for 6 points is to play him later in the round once your opponent has committed fully to a location. Secondly, I think he plays better in an ongoing onslaught spectrum deck in pool 1. I’ve had a lot of success with a hybrid sort of content going deck that runs both onslaught and spectrum in it, as well as blue marvel, ironman, kazaar, captain America, mr fantastic, Angela, Collosus, nightcraler, squirrel girl, antman and korg. The idea being that spectrum decks usually heavily rely on drawing her and being able to play her, and being much weaker if they fail to do so, while onslaught decks being very good at dominating a single location, be it through ironman or devil Dino+ onslaught combo, and this being weak when spread thin and countered heavily by enchantress. If you run them both, suddenly the major weakness of both decks is negated for the most part as you gain flexibility that you don’t have with onslaught decks while getting the backup plan that you lack with spectrum decks. Captain America fits this deck supremely well as the fact that his abilities performance does not depend on your opponents actions. You are able to setup onslaught using him and cards like blue Marvel and kazaar that aren’t good at putting points in the row that they are placed in to win that row as well as swing other rows in your favour, effectively allowing onslaught to play “wide “ in certain situations.
Watching you, Bynx, and Talk sort out this tier list live on Twitch was incredible. Still salty about my Movement Bros. being ranked so dang low though 😅 Had to complete the "Move 10 cards" Symbiote Challenge and clapped 3/3 W's against Pool 3 decks with it, and Kraven was never less than 8-power 🤘
All my friends think sentinel is garbage, but it's always nice to know that if you play sentinel, you'll always have a card to play. With certain lane effects, you can flood the field real quick. Great video!
If you play sentinel every turn (for value) you would get only 6 of him with 18 power total. If you get more than 1 copy somehow and play him for maximum you would get a 9 sentinels with 27 power only. And White tiger + Odin (only 2 cards) gives you 21 power total. Soooo sentinel suck hard I think?
@@impkiller5932 I mean, you're not wrong. I don't run sentinel in my main deck anymore, but I think it's a good card when you're just starting out. Just my opinion tho.
Cozy does SNAP too:) I was heavy into DSA and loved ur content. I quit DSA when they nerfed Baymax, Sven etc. All the ones we had invested in. Anyway. Good to see you again!

This is great and very informative! I got into the game recently and have been loving it and was going to try looking for some good channels about the game. But then this video just happened to show up on my feed. Cannot wait until you cover the other pools. However I do have a suggestion, though. In your future pool breakdowns could you include the card text for each card you cover in the video? I know that requires more editing work, though, but it would be super helpful for context for a viewer who doesn’t know what every card does yet.
Just finished Pool 1! I'll be going over my decks again! I watched your other video about how to increase your card collection and was just using my low rarity cards in a deck. Since i got Morph early in Pool 1, i kept him in my main deck until now. (Im almost Pool 3 🎉) For some reason he rarely lets me down, and its just a card i like to play turn 3.

I just started playing last month and I’m currently rank 55 playing with a Reveal deck with Squirrel Girl, Nova, Winter Soldier and Carnage support. It’s so fun to play and really helped me fall in love with this game! Sad my Girl didn’t get more love :(
I started on launch 2 days ago and I have a question: I am CL 125 or sth now and when do I have all Pool 1 cards? Will there be a message or do veterans simply know "ok CL 300, the next card is the first Pool 2 card"? also, do I only play against people from my own pool? So Pool 1 vs Pool 1, Pool 2 vs Pool 2, .. or is there Pool 2 vs Pool 3 or Pool 3 vs Pool 1 or sth? and lastly, the "Mystery Cards" I unlock in my collection leveling - are they truly "mystery" and therby random for everyone or are they always in the same order and only "mystery" because I can't see them before I unlock them? So for example CL120 or sth is always Wolverine, for everyone? Or is it random within the one Pool you are in? Thanks, and subbed btw! #BuffWolverine .. like, seriously. It's Logan! Then you level up your cards all at once to not be bottom of the barrel in Pool 2? Makes sense. Hey cozy. Been following you since dsa launched. I'm glad you're covering this game as I'm on the verge of quitting dsa for it as well 🤣 keep having fun my dude and appreciate your worth ethic
mantis can fit into devil dinosaur decks. u can play it on 1st turn if the location mod is something that's often grabbed first round (+ power, restricted energy, 1st to fill, ect...). the later the round the easier it can be to guess tho and since Devil Dino is ongoing u can play it as late as u want. Dino is the only card that Mantis combos w cleanly. for a 3 card combo add odin or onslaught. u can add carnage to the deck also as an alternative if u play mantis early. the only other option I've found is in a Kazar deck w stacked low cost cards so u can gamble pulling a high cost card from ur opponent as a backup to hopefully makeup for when the deck strat fails (I have 1 somewhat successful kazar deck w mantis, its half 1 energy cards + Dino + Moon Girl then padded w Carnage and a few of his combo cards)
What makes certain cards a different pool? I just got into this game on launch two days ago and I'm hooked, kinda gives me Magic the Gathering vibes somewhat... Great video keep up the content you just got a sub 👍
Morph is a good card late-game once most of the lower cards have already been played. Definitely won me some games I shouldn't have lol. I'm also surprised that Gamora is in C tier. If you're paying attention you will pretty much always get that +5 damage, effectively making it a 5 cost 13 damage card... that's pretty damn good!
Tbh I'd put gamora and klaw ahead of iron man, iron man's great in some situations but with the way this app works most times gamora or klaw will pull off the win where iron man wouldn't... he's very situational which is why he's dropped a couple decks in my collection
Why would you ever play America Chavez (6/9) when Abomination is a 5/9... so you can play both Abomination and AntMan in the last turn. And you can't make a deck with your S Tier cards, since you will only be able to play 1 that costs 4, 1 that costs 5 and 1 that costs 6
Its important to take in account the huge abilities that cards have. Vanilla cards like Abomination are usually always a worse option on value. Chavez biggest strength is always being pulled only on turn 6, which lets you set up turns 1-5 alot easier.
I find Bishop is too reliant on RNG. If you draw a perfect curve, 3-4-5-6, he is only 3 for 4 power. If you draw him late, then even less. I’d rather have the Captain America, as if I’m drawing small stuff to play after my 3 drop then I’d rather stick to a lane with Cap instead. And Cap late is better as well.
Great video! I like the information, and insight on the different cards. If I had one complaint is that I wish the video editing was more consistent. For example, you don't show all the cards you are talking about. I think it would be more helpful if you put a big picture of each card on the screen when you first start talking about them, like you do with most. I'm a new player and sometimes I forget what the cards do, so seeing it big sparks my memory and I recall what they do. Just a small suggestion. I can't wait to watch some more of your videos! I missed UatU, too. At 14:25 you see a list where he is mostly rated C. I personally would give him an easy A, because of so much knowledge he can bring to you. Try him out, he can be a game changer when he is in your starting hand and the locations are the right ones!
Vanilla cards should have a buff were if they are the 1st cards played in a location, they get a 1st responder perk which allows them to bank energy. You know give them something
I don't understand the Korg Rock %. How does playing Korg on T1, give a 55% for your opponent to draw the Rock, but only 44% on T2? Shouldn't the % to draw the Rock go up over time every time it is not drawn?
F for Quicksilver?!? He's certainly not the best 1-cost card, but you know what he's massively better than? Not drawing any 1-cost cards on your first turn. I'd give him a C easy, maybe even a B. Quicksilver, Domino, and America Chavez leaves you free to stack your deck with some of the juicer cards from 3, 4, and 5.
I do agree however some of these cards need to be in every single deck. Night Crawler, Colossus, and Klaw. They’re needed just in for the stupid locations lol to get an easy win there
i just started this week, nightcrawler maybe my favorite 1 drop because i love locking a zone with storm and moving nightcrawler to sneak it. i dont know how to feel about quicksilver being so low that guarantee that u have something to do turn 1 is massive imo.
So im pretty new, but halfway through p2 already. In my opinion white Queen and gamora are nowhere near. White Queen not only gives you a free high cost card, but also a hint what your opponent is playing next Turn. Y, she can miss. But gamora is so much more likely to miss.
Love the content. Here to comment about the White Queen. She is S or A. If anyone reads this she has singlehandedly won me games I am supposed to lose. Saved me cubes I'm supposed to lose as well. She takes the highest cost after turn 4. Which means she can take a 5, 6. Also it lets you know one card of the opponent. Either to finish a combo or what the deck you are playing if you don't know yet. Also she is great synergy piece in the Dino deck. I am in pool 2 and still use her in most of my decks. Best cost 4 card from pool 1.
I tested this game in Alpha/Beta and I like the field concept as a win condition. I just don't like how it feels like it's just a 3 field game of War almost using playing cards. Not a bad game, but not my cup of tea.
I'm curious as to what you mean when you say that Yondu destroys a card they were never going to get anyway. I agree that he's not great in pool 1, but just having a tough time understanding this since he destroys the top card, meaning the next one they would have drawn.
I’ve been playing a while nearly done pool 1. Only just started watching these I built my deck as an overwhelm deck quicksilver ant man and Hawkeye as 1 cost Angela and armour Medusa and starlord as 2 cost, then punisher iron heart and feral I think as 3 cost Kazar then spider woman n odin it has been really successful but would you change any?
punisher in the current zoo metan (at least in pool 1) is a consistent 2 6 - its insane. In ongoing decks you can make him 2 12 wit iron man or onslug. White queen is a joke tho - the worst 4 cost card in the game. Bad stats, bad effect - on t6 tyou want either onslug/iron man/odin or dino depending on YOUR deck, not your opponent.
They are basically the different expansions and you gain access to them by increasing your collection level. You are in pool 1 from collection level 1 to level 214. After that you are in pool 2 to level 474 and after that you’re in pool 3. The reason this matters is because you can only get certain cards in specific pools. The plus side is that you are guaranteed to get every card in a pool by the time you get to the end of it but the order is random. You only play people in your pool!
You will start at Collection Level 0 and it will rise as you improve the rarity of your cards with Boosters. You get a bonus every few Collection Levels early on, but the rewards become fewer as you rise through the levels. After Collection Level 18, you unlock Marvel Snap card pools. Marvel Snap has 3 card pools, each getting unlocked at different Collection Levels. Each pool has a different set of cards with more advanced abilities the higher the pool is. Pool 1 Collection Levels 18 - 214 Pool 2 Collection Levels 222 - 474 Pool 3 486+ Get info like this at Cozy's discord at discord.gg/cozygamer
I somewhat disagree with the Apocalypse ranking. I may just have personal bias since it's my favourite Pool 1 deck, but I genuinly think they're really good. When I finally got America Chavez (they were the third-to-last card I pulled, I was so mad), the deck became even better, since if you don't get to discard Apocalypse, they're really good. As you said, Sword Master's a decent card for a 3 cost and Blade is excellent as a 1 cost. I'd say Apocalypse is AT LEAST a high B-tier when used in the right discard deck (the one I used was filled to the brim with 1 costs, along with an Angela just to help you win lanes) and America Chevez could possibly be in a low S-teir, but A-tier's fine. Sorry for the long comment, and this video was great!
Just found this game it reminds me of caravan from fallout new Vegas very cool. Love the list but wish you could show the abilities of more characters so I know which ones to look forward to for future deck ideas.
Mister Fantastic, Gamora, Klaw and Hulk are my favourites….they helped me win so many games Elektra is so helpful at times.. I am quite shocked at the S tier choices…I don’t use none of them much..

Great list but I think your a bit off with captain America. I just think 6 for 3 is quite solid for pool one. Like if wolf girl is A tier with 7 for 3 but can only be played in a area with 3 then captain has to be better with one less but way easier to play

I think Morph is better than F tier, getting him on round 3 when your opponent has more than likely some better cards in their hand

Morph is definitely not F tier, but also definitely not S or A tier. I'd say a solid C.
If u play morph in like 4 or 5 turn the oponent is more likelly to have a hand with 90%cards of hight value so i agree he is a solid B or A

I just started playing last month and I’m currently rank 55 playing with a Reveal deck with Squirrel Girl, Nova, Winter Soldier and Carnage support. It’s so fun to play and really helped me fall in love with this game! Sad my Girl didn’t get more love :(

I started on launch 2 days ago and I have a question: I am CL 125 or sth now and when do I have all Pool 1 cards? Will there be a message or do veterans simply know "ok CL 300, the next card is the first Pool 2 card"?
also, do I only play against people from my own pool? So Pool 1 vs Pool 1, Pool 2 vs Pool 2, .. or is there Pool 2 vs Pool 3 or Pool 3 vs Pool 1 or sth?
and lastly, the "Mystery Cards" I unlock in my collection leveling - are they truly "mystery" and therby random for everyone or are they always in the same order and only "mystery" because I can't see them before I unlock them? So for example CL120 or sth is always Wolverine, for everyone? Or is it random within the one Pool you are in?

Then you level up your cards all at once to not be bottom of the barrel in Pool 2? Makes sense. Thanks for the website tip, didn't want to spoil me all cards, still won't look at pool 2 and 3 to keep the suspense and surprise, but well, Pool 1 I have a lot of already so I just watched the video.

mantis can fit into devil dinosaur decks. u can play it on 1st turn if the location mod is something that's often grabbed first round (+ power, restricted energy, 1st to fill, ect...). the later the round the easier it can be to guess tho and since Devil Dino is ongoing u can play it as late as u want.
Dino is the only card that Mantis combos w cleanly. for a 3 card combo add odin or onslaught. u can add carnage to the deck also as an alternative if u play mantis early. the only other option I've found is in a Kazar deck w stacked low cost cards so u can gamble pulling a high cost card from ur opponent as a backup to hopefully makeup for when the deck strat fails (I have 1 somewhat successful kazar deck w mantis, its half 1 energy cards + Dino + Moon Girl then padded w Carnage and a few of his combo cards)
What makes certain cards a different pool? I just got into this game on launch two days ago and I'm hooked, kinda gives me Magic the Gathering vibes somewhat... Great video keep up the content you just got a sub 👍
Pool 1 are the cards you find on the collection tree until about 212? Anyways, basically the early game cards that you will have and go up against

Morph is a good card late-game once most of the lower cards have already been played. Definitely won me some games I shouldn't have lol. I'm also surprised that Gamora is in C tier. If you're paying attention you will pretty much always get that +5 damage, effectively making it a 5 cost 13 damage card... that's pretty damn good!
As someone who just started can someone explain the card pools?
I use Cable in my Devil Dinosaur deck and I LOVE the wild card factor of Morph. So many times I've gotten The Infinaut with Morph.
Tbh I'd put gamora and klaw ahead of iron man, iron man's great in some situations but with the way this app works most times gamora or klaw will pull off the win where iron man wouldn't... he's very situational which is why he's dropped a couple decks in my collection
Why would you ever play America Chavez (6/9) when Abomination is a 5/9... so you can play both Abomination and AntMan in the last turn.
And you can't make a deck with your S Tier cards, since you will only be able to play 1 that costs 4, 1 that costs 5 and 1 that costs 6
Its important to take in account the huge abilities that cards have. Vanilla cards like Abomination are usually always a worse option on value. Chavez biggest strength is always being pulled only on turn 6, which lets you set up turns 1-5 alot easier.
I find Bishop is too reliant on RNG. If you draw a perfect curve, 3-4-5-6, he is only 3 for 4 power. If you draw him late, then even less.
I’d rather have the Captain America, as if I’m drawing small stuff to play after my 3 drop then I’d rather stick to a lane with Cap instead. And Cap late is better as well.

Great video! I like the information, and insight on the different cards. If I had one complaint is that I wish the video editing was more consistent. For example, you don't show all the cards you are talking about. I think it would be more helpful if you put a big picture of each card on the screen when you first start talking about them, like you do with most. I'm a new player and sometimes I forget what the cards do, so seeing it big sparks my memory and I recall what they do. Just a small suggestion. I can't wait to watch some more of your videos! I missed UatU, too. At 14:25 you see a list where he is mostly rated C. I personally would give him an easy A, because of so much knowledge he can bring to you. Try him out, he can be a game changer when he is in your starting hand and the locations are the right ones!

Vanilla cards should have a buff were if they are the 1st cards played in a location, they get a 1st responder perk which allows them to bank energy. You know give them something
I like the idea, when you get Patriot in Pool 3 he REALLY buffs the vanilla cards

I don't understand the Korg Rock %. How does playing Korg on T1, give a 55% for your opponent to draw the Rock, but only 44% on T2? Shouldn't the % to draw the Rock go up over time every time it is not drawn?
F for Quicksilver?!? He's certainly not the best 1-cost card, but you know what he's massively better than? Not drawing any 1-cost cards on your first turn. I'd give him a C easy, maybe even a B. Quicksilver, Domino, and America Chavez leaves you free to stack your deck with some of the juicer cards from 3, 4, and 5.
I do agree however some of these cards need to be in every single deck. Night Crawler, Colossus, and Klaw. They’re needed just in for the stupid locations lol to get an easy win there
i just started this week, nightcrawler maybe my favorite 1 drop because i love locking a zone with storm and moving nightcrawler to sneak it. i dont know how to feel about quicksilver being so low that guarantee that u have something to do turn 1 is massive imo.

So im pretty new, but halfway through p2 already. In my opinion white Queen and gamora are nowhere near. White Queen not only gives you a free high cost card, but also a hint what your opponent is playing next Turn. Y, she can miss. But gamora is so much more likely to miss.
Love the content. Here to comment about the White Queen. She is S or A. If anyone reads this she has singlehandedly won me games I am supposed to lose. Saved me cubes I'm supposed to lose as well. She takes the highest cost after turn 4. Which means she can take a 5, 6. Also it lets you know one card of the opponent. Either to finish a combo or what the deck you are playing if you don't know yet. Also she is great synergy piece in the Dino deck. I am in pool 2 and still use her in most of my decks. Best cost 4 card from pool 1.
I tested this game in Alpha/Beta and I like the field concept as a win condition. I just don't like how it feels like it's just a 3 field game of War almost using playing cards. Not a bad game, but not my cup of tea.

I'm curious as to what you mean when you say that Yondu destroys a card they were never going to get anyway. I agree that he's not great in pool 1, but just having a tough time understanding this since he destroys the top card, meaning the next one they would have drawn.

Only just started watching these I built my deck as an overwhelm deck quicksilver ant man and Hawkeye as 1 cost Angela and armour Medusa and starlord as 2 cost, then punisher iron heart and feral I think as 3 cost Kazar then spider woman n odin it has been really successful but would you change any?

punisher in the current zoo metan (at least in pool 1) is a consistent 2 6 - its insane. In ongoing decks you can make him 2 12 wit iron man or onslug.
White queen is a joke tho - the worst 4 cost card in the game. Bad stats, bad effect - on t6 tyou want either onslug/iron man/odin or dino depending on YOUR deck, not your opponent.
Hulk Buster+Namor, well, or just on a strong hero at a location where a loner will get more power

They are basically the different expansions and you gain access to them by increasing your collection level. You are in pool 1 from collection level 1 to level 214. After that you are in pool 2 to level 474 and after that you’re in pool 3. The reason this matters is because you can only get certain cards in specific pools. The plus side is that you are guaranteed to get every card in a pool by the time you get to the end of it but the order is random.
You only play people in your pool!
I would rank Hulk at least A in pool 1. I now it has nothing going for him beyond the +12 but that +12 is a killer early on.

You will start at Collection Level 0 and it will rise as you improve the rarity of your cards with Boosters. You get a bonus every few Collection Levels early on, but the rewards become fewer as you rise through the levels. After Collection Level 18, you unlock Marvel Snap card pools.
Marvel Snap has 3 card pools, each getting unlocked at different Collection Levels. Each pool has a different set of cards with more advanced abilities the higher the pool is.
Pool 1 Collection Levels 18 - 214
Pool 2 Collection Levels 222 - 474
Pool 3 486+

I honestly have quicksilver as a staple. Am I insane? Its super nice in zoo decks to hsve a consistent turn 1 play
I somewhat disagree with the Apocalypse ranking. I may just have personal bias since it's my favourite Pool 1 deck, but I genuinly think they're really good. When I finally got America Chavez (they were the third-to-last card I pulled, I was so mad), the deck became even better, since if you don't get to discard Apocalypse, they're really good. As you said, Sword Master's a decent card for a 3 cost and Blade is excellent as a 1 cost. I'd say Apocalypse is AT LEAST a high B-tier when used in the right discard deck (the one I used was filled to the brim with 1 costs, along with an Angela just to help you win lanes) and America Chevez could possibly be in a low S-teir, but A-tier's fine. Sorry for the long comment, and this video was great!
Cosmo should be at minimum A tier. He completely shuts down so many decks in pool 1.

Just found this game it reminds me of caravan from fallout new Vegas very cool. Love the list but wish you could show the abilities of more characters so I know which ones to look forward to for future deck ideas.

Great list but I think your a bit off with captain America. I just think 6 for 3 is quite solid for pool one.
Like if wolf girl is A tier with 7 for 3 but can only be played in a area with 3 then captain has to be better with one less but way easier to play

All I'm saying is if Warrior Falls are revealed on turn 1, you know where you're playing Lizard turn 2
