A tip I have learned is that on a travel day start as early as possible, around 8am is a great time. Its better to get to the city/ state you are going to early and site see before checking in rather than trying to leave in the afternoon because you never know what’s going to happen.

Glad you could turn it around, Brian. 😊 It’s great that you could make an RV’ing weekend experience of supporting your best friend’s a capella groups performance. It’s the little things where memories are made. Kudos to you for getting that walk in! I’ll definitely encourage you to continue to remain active…it’s great for the mind, body, and soul!
Hey brother, love your vids. Regarding your charging issues - I have a 2016 class c that I purchased brand new and I had to replace the house battery 3 times - even took it to Coachman in indiana and they replaced the battery and charge controller etc…. After watching a few videos I found that the lead acid batteries go bad if they drop below 50% charge too often - especially in storage. Turning off the battery cut off switch is not enough because there is always going to be a parasitic drain (as long as your positive and negative cables are connected to the battery, it will drain) I found it best to disconnect the negative or both cables. Going on 4 years now and no problems. I live in the Chicago area and I bring the battery home in the winter and keep it on a battery-tender. Hope this helps. Hey Brian, another cool vid; keep up the great work. Cracks me up how you keep ending up setting up in the dark! You might as well just plan on it! I've been RV'ing for over 30 years and all I can say is these things are rolling earth quakes and you better learn to handle it or it is gonna get expensive! Also, about the fire, I keep a Harbor Freight self lighting ( pull a trigger) butane torch on board for the stubborn stuff; works like a champ. Looking forward to more vids and maybe seeing you out there!

Those sliders and the tater wedges looked so good. I would have had a grilled cheese and the potatoes cuz no meat for me. Just dont have a taste for a tortured slaughtered animal LOL. That place looked nice and clean and I would always want a pull thru cuz backing up is hard sometimes like in tractor trailers. Yes winter is about over and springtime will be upon us. Then Easter and new beginnings with Jesus Christ.Will your RV park have parking for vans or cars who will then need the restroom and showers? Its too late for me an RV but I might could get a van or maybe just go on adventure in my car and sleep in back seat. Gonna go to your RV park on way to Richmond Virginia for a visit. Nice campground ... last year, I took my family camping and we stayed in a cabin. Just beds inside 😅😅 They looked at me like 😮 REALLY! I enjoyed myself. I'm trying to teach them that it's the little things in life 🌹💞

Thanks for another great video. Yes, this is the type of campground that we like to camp. Campground features more than RV park. We like campgrounds that are clean. We like having a table, firepit with a grill, full hook ups, pool, pull through sites, walking trails, water (creek, fishing, lake, beach), safe camp with trees, wildlife, stores nearby. improvements over time. If we knew about campgrounds years ago, we would have looked into this with our land. We have a rental home. I believe in owning land. May God bless your project. Houston and Texas Proud

Love Acapella! It’s awesome that your longtime friend is in the group and you got to see him. You’re right, there is always something about Rv ownership that will test our metal. We just picked ours up less than two weeks ago, a gently used 2016 Minnie Winnie Class C. In great shape but we wanted to add our own touches, decor, more cameras, get new front tires, etc. Man it adds up! We sure had less to do when we had our travel trailer a few years ago! But in the end, once you get your rig the way you want it, the blessings are unrivaled.
The campground looked very comfortable.. so clean! I don't have an RV yet...but if you set your sites up like that...HOLD ON I'M COMING! OMG..THOSE CHEESEBURGERS AND FRIES LOOKED SCRUMPTIOUS..I lost my mind after that!..🤣had to get up and get me something to eat! Thanks for sharing. BYB, BLESS YOU BRO 🙏

Great video. Something that can be really annoying to me is when a rv park, especially when you pay a premium price, doesn’t trim trees high or wide enough for those of us that have big tall rv’s. Both navigating through the park or within the site.
Good to see you out there. I see the Chevy is squatting. Might run across a cat scale to check axle weights. I was 350lbs over axle on my truck rear axle. Tilted the hitch bars down more to throw more weight on to the trailer once hooked up and now I have 275 lbs to spare and my truck is level. My truck rear axle max is 4300 lbs. I’m heading to Brazos valley rv park at the end of the month for couple weeks. God bless and stay safe out there.
Ironically, I always try to travel with the RV during the day so I can address any issues while there is still daylight. But, you are so right about no traffic. That’s something for me to think about.

@bromadiclifeadventures1470 Mother Neff State Park is really nice with some sites for your RV that you would really appreciate. I'm just not sure you can get in on such short notice as this. Aim for 5 months advance when dealing with Texas State Parks. Camp Fimfo is right in Waco and is a very fancy RV park. I think it's right up your alley if you like campgrounds like Woodland Creek RV Park.
Pretty sure you could have backed up to the camper and hooked up to the twelve volt and got your jacks up. Sounds like you have the 120 in the bed of your tow vehicle so it worked out anyway...

Hello Patti! Thank you so much! Well, if money was no object I would put about 50. LOL! Realistically, I will start with 2. Of course, all of the excavator's, electrician's, etc prices went up. So, it is taking a little longer than I anticipated. After I get those 2 complete, I will probably do something simple like have a couple of tent only sites built. Then, I will start on the next two RV/Tiny Home pads. The pads I am working on now will have 20/30/50 amp connections Cable High Speed Internet The water is the issue right now. My land is too high in elevation to tap into the city water. So, I have to have a well dug. The quotes so far are ridiculous! So, I am researching and trying to be creative to come up with a more efficient solution.
I did not see where you covered your new tow vehicle. It doesn't have to be a long one just some information. By the way, your sunglasses at the starty wee really dirty. 😄

Yes sir! Last week I purchased a Chevy Silverado 1500 Diesel 3.0 Duramax 4x4. My SUV was struggling trying to pull the RV. Plus it has 293,000 milses so I had to upgrade.
Ok thanks I have a 2022 Chevrolet 1500 with the 5.3 engine and 10 speed automatic ,just wonder if you have any swaying I'm worried about that and how fast can you drive comfortable thanks I love you channel keep up the good work !!!

Yes, Keith and the Lancaster family has done some great things over the years. Their music has touch a lot of lives, including mine. I did see Keith and Anthony while I was there.

Great video. Something that can be really annoying to me is when a rv park, especially when you pay a premium price, doesn’t trim trees high or wide enough for those of us that have big tall rv’s. Both navigating through the park or within the site.

Good to see you out there. I see the Chevy is squatting. Might run across a cat scale to check axle weights. I was 350lbs over axle on my truck rear axle. Tilted the hitch bars down more to throw more weight on to the trailer once hooked up and now I have 275 lbs to spare and my truck is level. My truck rear axle max is 4300 lbs. I’m heading to Brazos valley rv park at the end of the month for couple weeks. God bless and stay safe out there.

You need a good surge protector, for outages anywhere. Also, when I travel with my RV, I travel at night so there is no traffic.
Ironically, I always try to travel with the RV during the day so I can address any issues while there is still daylight. But, you are so right about no traffic. That’s something for me to think about.

@bromadiclifeadventures1470 Mother Neff State Park is really nice with some sites for your RV that you would really appreciate. I'm just not sure you can get in on such short notice as this. Aim for 5 months advance when dealing with Texas State Parks.
Camp Fimfo is right in Waco and is a very fancy RV park. I think it's right up your alley if you like campgrounds like Woodland Creek RV Park.

Pretty sure you could have backed up to the camper and hooked up to the twelve volt and got your jacks up. Sounds like you have the 120 in the bed of your tow vehicle so it worked out anyway...

Hello Patti! Thank you so much! Well, if money was no object I would put about 50. LOL! Realistically, I will start with 2. Of course, all of the excavator's, electrician's, etc prices went up. So, it is taking a little longer than I anticipated. After I get those 2 complete, I will probably do something simple like have a couple of tent only sites built. Then, I will start on the next two RV/Tiny Home pads.
The pads I am working on now will have

The water is the issue right now. My land is too high in elevation to tap into the city water. So, I have to have a well dug. The quotes so far are ridiculous! So, I am researching and trying to be creative to come up with a more efficient solution.

Yes sir! Last week I purchased a Chevy Silverado 1500 Diesel 3.0 Duramax 4x4. My SUV was struggling trying to pull the RV. Plus it has 293,000 milses so I had to upgrade.
Ok thanks I have a 2022 Chevrolet 1500 with the 5.3 engine and 10 speed automatic ,just wonder if you have any swaying I'm worried about that and how fast can you drive comfortable thanks I love you channel keep up the good work !!!
I have an anti sway bar that helps a lot. I can get up to 70, but I try to keep it at 60
