  • Egan Inoue recounts an unforgettable entrance into the world of Jiu-Jitsu, tutored privately by his brother before ever stepping foot in a formal class. Egan's unconventional path to martial arts mastery culminates in a humorous yet pivotal moment during his first official class, where, under his brother's mischievous plan, he surprises everyone with his advanced skills. The climax of Egan's tale is his unexpected encounter with Relson Gracie, the class instructor, where Egan's adept execution of a triangle choke leads to an unforeseen outcome, putting Gracie to sleep. This incident humorously highlights the unforeseen consequences of hidden talent and the complex dynamics within martial arts training. Egan's story is not just about a memorable class but also about the lessons learned in humility, respect, and the unexpected journeys that martial arts can take us on.

Did you not listen to the story? Or have you never trained? Relson had every right to be mad about that

@kevinb8212 no he did not, you lead by example and whatever his opponent did pales in comparison to all the crimes the gracies committed

@ okay so you obviously have a different issue with the Gracie family. The point is if someone gives you their body in a position for training purposes, it’s messed up to take advantage of that. He admitted himself/his brother misrepresented the skill level to specifically tap everyone out which is bs

@kevinb8212 boo freaking whoo cry me a river, some guy ended up paralyzed for life and rener looked the other way, rufino dos Santos beats Carlos gracie in a match fair and square even after agreeing to tge gracie biased bs ... they wait for him, jump him, cripple him with crowbars ending his career for life ... and royce steps on some guy's neck after "winning" the match ... en lets not forget renzo and his little escapades ... assaulting bouncers and even random civilians on the new york subway ... quit defending those lowlives and wake up Princess

    Every Gracie is different
If Relson Gracie teaches like Renzo
From the heart wants you to be three times better than him that it’s not OK with you did to him
But maybe you’re not telling some of the story maybe they were funny with you guys and wanted to play with them. I don’t know. I know how that can go to.
But if not, that’s not OK behavior
You don’t pretend you don’t know techniques and then submit everyone you just be honest and do the techniques with them and then submit everyone
No insecurities best as a man
    Childish behavior
Even if they did do something not right you don’t wanna conduct yourself that way anyway I know nothing
Houston has probably bullied some people so I get that part but
    Anyway, I’m out
    Interesting story nonetheless
    But a little childish
Not part of the martial art code
