    Oh Blakely, that looks wonderful beyond words. Love the crust, and the cream cheese you added to the pie. The way you topped it off, makes it too great to eat. This is one of my favorites, and you nailed it to the tee. Thanks. Neil

    Well look out Paula Dean, this lil lady has the best recipe for a peanut butter pie on the internet.. 🤷 i like a little bit of chocolate on top of the filling then cool whip on top drizzled with chocolate on top. This looks rich and delicious though. 💯💯
    Good job Blakely 😍😍

    This looks awesome ! Now my question to you, I know the cream cheese is needed to add some filler and add a nice consistency to the pie, but does it give any sort of cheese cake flavor to it?
    (I have a cheesecake hater in a house.)

    oh wow, I will be making this for Thanksiving dessert ! Can store-bought whipped cream (Cool-whip) be used instead of making it and if so, how much ? Thanks :)

      +Sean Garcia Hi Sean! Thanks for writing and I'm excited you're going to use this recipe for Thanksgiving! I'll be completely honest with you…. DON'T use cool-whip! Please don't. The taste is so much different if you take the extra 3 minute step and just make the whipped cream. I know it seems like a pain but I promise it will be worth it!

    God that looks amazing! We don't have graham crackers here, can I use digestive biscuits and if so, how much would equal to the same in graham crackers? I'd like to try this out

    • @EverydayGourmetWithBlakely
      @EverydayGourmetWithBlakely  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +FitAnge S Oh no!!! No graham crackers?! That makes me sad. I'm honestly not sure about the digestive biscuits because I've never had them but just try substituting the digestive biscuits for the graham cracker and see how it turns out. Let me know!

    • @AussieAngeS
      @AussieAngeS 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      CookingForBimbos hi and yeah no graham crackers but the substitute for them is digestive biscuits. The reason I asked you is because you say 14 graham crackers and was wondering roughly what the weight of them would be crushes up so I can get the same amount for the crust. Also so I ain't have too much crumbs to butter. Ill try to work it out.

    I feel you've crossed a line with this one, this should be labeled FOOD PORN! ;-P
    Am I supposed to share this, cause I ain't gonna. :-D I've had peanut butter custard pie and loved it, but it's dense and heavy. This looks lighter, like you could still stand up after eating a piece.
    Some crushed dry roasted peanuts might be nice on top, I like some chunks in my peanut butter, but that's just me.
    Great job as always Blakely!

    I can't believe I only just now found this video. Now that it's 2017, I assume you no longer say "Reesee's" when referring to Reese's peanut butter cups. Either way, I'm still trying to calculate whether I need to do 20,000 or 30,000 sit-ups after eating this.
