Obrigado por essa obra prima
I was watching to One Hundred And One Dalmatians, then I got recommended English Dogs. Nice algorithm TH-cam, honestly.
I love how the fast shit is punk and the slower stuff is metal. Def crossover.
To The End Of Earth is the best metal punk record!!!!
yes,jawohl.thats it.
only outdone by their own Metalmorphosis EP in '86, yeah English Dogs were one of the best and so underrated
Cross over *
@@N_W677 Ugh, I hate that label. Just remind of me a handful really BAD US bands from the mid 80's. I am glad that "Cross over" never stuck. Which is why you'll see so many 7" even today with written shit on em like "Metal Punks in the Throws of Drunken Destruction" or something like that instead of "Board Shorts and Hightops spin-kicking posers in the face in the dead of night part 2"
Maybe its because I am 46 and live in NYC and our cross over was fucking awful.
After much ongoing research, I've come to the same conclusion
They were at the front of the curve with this in 1984. Great live back then
I played this so many times on the Radio here in Melbourne Australia, brings back many memories...
Best 13 min. i've heard in while.
best metalpunk band besides warfare n genocide.
Fan since I was 15
I’m 52 now
Holy Crap does this take me back. Thanks so much for posting it. I used to listen to this EP on a Walkman while jogging. After I was done I'd stop and smoke a cigarette.
That's really healthy i should try it
Bad ass!
We do.
Группа превосходная🔥👍🤘🤘🤘альбом безумно крут,просто улёт!!!!
WELCOME ❤
When punks listen to metal it sounds like this excellence!
The English Dogs and Broken Bones 🏴
doh!! excellent drum sound because its the mighty CARGO STUDIOS!!!
fuckin great metal punk! power chords pushed to the limit!!!
Rather jolly isn't it. Third time of listening to it today.
Melhor presente de um amigo... ...Foi a algum tempo, mas sinto a energia e a coragem aqui presente com este vinil, presente dele, adoro ver as fotos antigas de skate e bike dele. Representou pra caramba. Sempre presente Maurinho.
Just picked this ep up AGAIN the other day, been listening to this since it came out!! Excellent!
god this brings back amazing memories. they were on the backs of so many jackets back then.
excellent drum sound
much in the vein of BROKEN BONES ...
Régis Blanc yea
Ben raybourn brought me here and man dose it ROCK!
To this day, my all-time favorite band..
Love this band
Absolutely Excellent Classic Outstanding Top Quality Punk Band 🔗🔒🖇
I prefer the old school punk English Dogs, but I think this one is even better than Mad Punks or Porky Men.....sounds a bit inspired by Ultraviolent in places (well, sounds exactly like Ultraviolent with Adie on vocals). The production on this is also just the fucking best, those drums and chunky guitars are how punk should still sound...
Pure energy!
Sure is!
The chase is ON!

Summer '84
Yea it is Way ahead of their Time, crazy
It’s a known fact that punks play metal better with so much fucking attitude. Listen to this loud and try to deny it.
This is the shit right here!! One of the originators and one of the best of what us "Yanks" across the pond call crossover. This is my heart, brothers. Thank-you, YA LIMEY BASTARDS!!!!!
Bryan Lacivita this was the first yep
Rock N Roll
The only decent Lincolnshire export besides myself! (I'm the dogs bollocks, me, no pun intended.)
Great record. Nice one.
You want metal punk, the first 2 Venom lp's , nothing to this day can touch em.
Saw them at Adam and Eves in Leeds 84-85 ,Not what we were expecting but they were brilliant Gizz butt mesmerised us

When some of my fuckin’ friends told me that this shit is better than anything *Broken Bones* ever released, I was stoked to give it a listen. And bloody hell was I ever let down. Cause this shit is weak as hell.

Pioneiros do crossover. Foda!!
Nausea brought me here. Amazing how much nausea ripped these folks off.
+ Sacriledge :D
@@nee8410 yeah they ( nausea) absolutely ripped off sacralige as well.
@@19eightyforeisnow I Didn't know neither ED nor Sacrilege when I was into Nausea in the 90s :D
I still like them
@@nee8410 yeah I still do as well, just find it interesting when I discover where bands get their inspiration from. All 3 are amazing
This would not be out of place on "Kill 'Em All"
Agree!!
great point pete. you can't 'unhear' it now that you mention.
they met metallica on their mid 80s US tour. they also walked into metallica's record label executive offices , asked for a record deal and got it.
Hetfield cites English Dogs as an early influence. So its not suprising.
Sounds exactly like "evil has no boundaries" - show no mercy Slayer first album.
Yes it does. A lot of the big four bands did take some things from the new wave of British metal bands knowing that no one was going to call them out on it. I think that's what happened. Listen to the song rainbow warrior, by the band bleak House. You could definitely tell you've heard that intro riff somewhere before.
I see why you said it wow
That's pretty good... I don't know if it's crossover, does not sound like D.R.I. to me, for instance... It's a blend of punk and metal... Very good...
You're right, American crossover bands like D.R.I., Corrosion Of Conformity, Agnostic Front, Attitude Adjustment, Cro-Mags were faster and sounded more modern than this. To me British bands like English Dogs, Broken Bones, Exploited, The Blood, Warfare, G.B.H. are metal punk while American acts such as Suicidal Tendencies, D.R.I., Cryptic Slaughter, S.O.D., Ludichrist, The Crumbsuckers are crossover proper. A British crossover band would be Heresy.
More metalpunk than crossover.

@@larissagomes4203 .. German thrash metal band. Blackened thrash in their early days.
wtf happened to these guys. Everything after this was just pooh........by them
My thoughts too ! They went thier seperate ways after the 1986 album where legend began .then various members reformed as punks again .then a couple of years ago this line up made an album called the beast with two heads but unfortunately it was dire 😣long live the 84-86 english dogs ,they were truly awesome .
