I received the water fresh tint and eyeshadow palette last Friday. I have worn them 2 days in the last 3. I love both of them for the natural look they create. The water fresh tint leaves my skin looking and feeling healthy, and that look and feel stayed with me all day. Also, I got compliments from friends and family who said I looked amazing. My only worry is that I am going to go through the foundation quickly because I use 3 to 4 pumps to cover my full face, and it's an expensive foundation. But I love it! I find I am moving more toward buying and using the Les Beiges line over all others as new products become available.
Hi Michelle, I purchased the Water-Fresh Tint when it first launched on Chanel and then was at a counter this week. The Chanel MUA told me that the more you emulsify the product, using circular motions and continuing to do that while working in a larger area (and more than you would think to continue to do), the more area the tint will cover and you might get a hint more coverage. At the very least, you'll use less product. I only do the dabbing motion now for touchups if using the last of the product on the back of my hand and am moving to emulsify on the cheek so not to waste an ounce of this foundation/skincare gem. I try to use the powder sparingly to bring down the slight tackiness and lighten the radiance in key areas. I find the tint covers the slight redness in my skin, which I'm surprised by, and leaves me to consider if I should cover any areas with concealer that might normally be covered by foundation. I'm not used to seeing a bare face look (but better). The only time I had problems with the formula was if my skin was over or under-moistutized. I also noticed that the natural pink in my skintone absorbed any cream blush that I applied; like I never put any on. For me, powder blush works best with this formula. Enjoy experimenting with this interesting new product.
Hi Michele I was traveling and near a Chanel store so went in and had sales rep choose my color and show me how to apply the foundation product. She said it was best to use the brush that came with the product as otherwise the foundation might be streaky. She applied it to my bare moisturized skin for a natural no makeup look. Then lightly powdered certain areas of the face leaving the glow to,show through in others. I will play with it a little more when I get home. Thanks for your review.

Hi Michele, about the water fresh tint, I was sure you were going to like it. I love it, it's very special. Just one tip about it, I don't mix it on the back of my hand as it is so sheer. I just place it on the back of my hand and take it with the brush and buff it directly into my skin. I found that this worked better for me. Enjoy your videos as always :-)

The water fresh tint completely sold out in the UK, almost as soon as it launched! I've been waiting since August for it to come back in stock in my colour. Finally got my hands on it the other day, it's my favourite base product ever! I wish it didn't have fragrance in it, that's my only gripe. But it's fine, I only wear it a few times a week. And the finish is sublime! Great video. Totally mesmerised by it. This collection was so gorgeous x
I bought the Medium plus and it's like the most exact match it's perfect. I was scared to put it on cause when it pumps out, it looks like a soft delicate rain drop of water. I am confused though about if I am supposed to put setting powder on afterwards. It's absolutely wonderful, it's so weightless on the skin, doesnt feel obnoxiously creamy like most foundations would so it's great for anyone that doesn't like wearing heavy make up.

Popped into the Chanel Beauty boutique in St Pancras station last night and played a bit with this palette. I told myself, I absolutely don't need it! And then off the back of this video I just ordered it from the Boots site - beautiful colours!! As you would say, they speak to me. Can't go wrong with a 9-pan Chanel neutrals palette.

I’ve been so excited for this video and to hear your thoughts. I picked up the Healthy Glow Sheer Powder in 20 and the Water Fresh Tint in Medium Light too and I love them both. The fresh tint gives a wonderful sheer glow to the skin and paired with the powder still gives a really radiant but natural look. Though I definitely don’t think it should be labelled as a foundation 🤔 lol!
I’ve also tried the Fresh Tint added to a fuller matte coverage foundation and it looks stunning. So definitely play around with it. I’ll be using it as a primer base, just on its own with powder and also mixed in to other foundations, but I’m totally loving it and a great product for the summer months xx

My first impressions of the Les Beiges Water Fresh Tint: For me, I never purchased this expecting it to perform as a foundation, especially when they directly use the words water and tint in the product name. I had also already seen the consistency, so I knew what to expect as far as coverage goes. On a great skin day, this would be lovely with a little setting powder in the necessary areas. Since I wasn't having one of those great skin days, I decided to use just a tiny bit of foundation around my nose and mouth and it went from a fresh sheer but luminous appearance to exquisite. After setting with the Clé de Peau loose powder, it provided enough hydration that just enough of the luminous finish was still able to come through. This is a new challenge for me since I turned 50, to set or not to set. I am 51 now and for sure, my skin is a bit drier and while I don't have wrinkles yet, forehead only, the last thing I want is the makeup settling in the lines I do have. BUT...I still need to set my makeup. As you have said, having the right loose powder is everything. I purchased the CHANEL Baume Essentiel in Transparent as well and I am obsessed. Perfect for the days when you don't want a highlighter of any kind but I even used it on my eyelids. Also purchased the Rouge Coco Flash in Boy. That over the Sisley Le Phtyo Rouge #10 is so, SO pretty. Would love to know your thoughts on it :)
I'm in love! My only question is how the foundation would perform with a concealer. I have dark undereye circles, therefore, a concealer is an unfortunate necessity. As the foundation is so light in texture my fear is that the concealer would be too thick.
The palette is just beautiful as is the face powder. But my heart is with the foundation, 😊😊.

I have everything you demoed but the water tint. For me personally I did not like it. Looks great on you though and happy it worked out. I found that it did not give me that nice flawless no makeup look like Lancome's Skin Feels So Good. I have cool light to medium skin tone and their blonde shade is perfect. I have never tried a foundation that has my exact skin tone until SFSG. Like the water tint, it stays all day, my skin does not get oily and it does not settle in my fine lines. I felt the stuff in the water tint that makes it ultra glowy highlighted my tiniest lines and make them noticeable whereas SFSG makes me look like I have no lines.
Love the Palette and feel that everyone of all complections could have great results with it.
The powder is perfection and find it hard to believe that I would ever buy a different kind of powder in the future. Nice glow, sets like a dream, hides imperfections, lasts all day and is super natural. I especially like that it does not crease under my eyes.
what are you thoughts of Lancome Skin Feels so Good, worth it??
I think maybe it is the high water content on this tint. Once the water evaporates I assume the product would set into lines which is what I was concerned about myself...

My SA at Nordstrom Chanel mixed two drops of the water tint to one drop of hydra serum. She mixed and applied. It is beautiful.
I use the water tint! Got the last 3 bottles from all our counters lol i love how my combo skin looks with it especially after using Chanel loose powder! I use it daily for work and loove how it doesn’t crease and such by the time im home!

This review came at a perfect time for me😊I purchased the eyeshadow palette yesterday. I’m not an experienced makeup user and learn a great deal from your videos. I haven’t bought the foundation though I enjoyed swatching it in the store. I normally do not wear any foundation for daily wear. Yet the idea of a sheer formula with some glow is appealing to me as I get older.
The eyeshadow looks so beautiful can’t wait to try. The foundation seems very sheer. Would be interested how it looks under or on top of foundation. Very nice & thorough review!

Question if that’s ok- how similar (or not) are the Chanel Les beiges healthy glow powder compact and the Armani Neo nude powder compact ? Honestly I’ve always been a mostly Chanel person (since late 80s!) and not that familiar with Armani beauty (yet) but both have me fascinated now. Especially to use as a finishing powder for touch ups.

I woke up early to see if you had posted yet! just got my notification - I bought the tint as well and I feel that 2 layers adds just enough coverage for a sheer coverage which I like a lot- and it does last all day - I was wondering if I should get the Chanel powder in 10 or 20? .... I think will get the 10 even though Chanel.com suggest the 20 shade- I am B20 in the Chanel sublimage foundation- what would you suggest? why did you choose 10? if you are 20 in their foundations?

I loved seeing this video pop up! Love that eyeshadow palette. I was at the Chanel counter tonight and our store did not have this yet. I have used the les beiges powders as bronzers and in the winter shade 30 is really nice. And I love how the 40 is a bit warm so blush isn’t really needed. I love Chanel makeup!,

I got the light, thanks to a European vlogger mentioning she found medium light too dark. LOVE & I don’t wear foundation! Wanted the dewy moisture. I tried the #20 powder & think I’ll return it. Baum in intense is a lovely natural berry shade, but I like the Flash slideyfeel better. Eye palette is a win with the shades on the left sheered out for my first try. Matte lip color in Modern isn’t nasty dry & shades darker than it looks in the tube on me. Perfect browny pink shade. I also got the lip pencil Hazelnut. Keeper as I lean toward the browner colors.
I was suprised the Chanel Water Fresh Tint you used was in Medium Light, it comes up quite dark on you. At first I thought you used the medium shade. The finish looks very natural on you.

I bet this would be fantastic mixed with Vitalumiere Aqua for added spf and coverage!! This reminds me of the radiance you get from that but I feel like after you open it/don’t use it enough, the radiance evaporates from the formula... ❤️ this review!
