I'm impressed to say the least! What a concept and with never owning an RV, pretty amazing! I was surprised on the size of their holding tank for water and never heard the size of the grey tank. The people looking at this will be the ones looking at Space Craft and such! Impress with the solar system and the Tesla batteries! Love the roof top area and access! Nice job and great ideas come from very smart innovative people!

@@SuiteTravels Actually not different than any regular fifth wheel. Surely, if we have the weather station and chimney up, they will come down. Same for the deck and awning. Inside there are only a few plants to put in the sink, some cabinet doors to look and one or two more items to secure.
I love this custom RV. Something different from the rest of the industry and what makes it different, it feels more "homey". I give a thumbs up for making this video. Just curious, how he setup his front porch or front decks ? The front decks is the one that increase the living area more bigger and i can see there is awning which can cover the deck from rain.
It's even more impressive in person SC...it all starts with an idea! The deck is split in two sections (5' and 8'). We didn't ask them how they attached to the home, but they have leveling jacks on each side to keep them stable. The deck sections are removable for travel and they store underneath the home, and yes, that's a full butterfly awning above. It was a little windy when we filmed so we didn't pull it out.

Wow, that's REALLY cool! I think I've seen this home on either Tiny House Nation or . . . something like that. Wish I could build something like it, but probably without the roof top deck. And a stand up bedroom...and something longer. Need a designated work space and stuff.

2 tesla power walls is 27 kwh or about 2250 amp hours @ 12 volt. lol. thats 22 of the typical 100amp 12v lithium batteries a lot of people use now for solar conversions. he must have saved a bundle of cost and weight to presumably remove from a tesla written off in an accident vs buying separate 100 amp batteries. i didn't see any bug screens for the kitchen or lower deck? conceptually i really like it but my head is having a problem with the practicality of using the focal point of the design. i mean how often is the temperature, wind, humidity, bugs right to have it open. interesting idea regardless to tie the deck in with the kitchen as opposed to a toy hauler garage, i think i have only seen that layout on a motorhome before. (years ago some high end motorhomes had fold down decks near the front passenger side) thx for sharing. pretty amazing the things people craft together.
We did the math as well chorn....they have a great setup! You make some valid points. We'll have to discuss them when we get together again. Have a great weekend!

It's pretty cool Rob. They tow it with a Volvo HDT hauler and park their Smart car behind the cab similar to ours. They have MorRyde Independent Suspension with disc brakes.

OMG!! That destroys any fifth wheel out there!!. Those sweds are very upscale amd techie. I can see a huge market for those. Only thing comes to mind is durability over time and the pounding roadways. Be very Interesting to see for example next year how there tiny home held up.
Thanks for the kind words. Durability on the road was a key objective in our design and build. It is a home designed for hurricane winds and earthquake shakes going down the road. It is all steel frame construction with close cell foam insulation, rolls on a fully independent suspension, and has a heavy duty chassis. After 30,000+ miles over the last two years, we don't event have a crack in the tile. It has held up really well.

Thank you carlgshock, we pull it with a Volvo HDT and carry our Electric Smart behind the sleeper. It only weighs 23,000 lbs, so could do it with a 1 ton, but it sure is nice to have the HDT.

You never mentioned the Chassis; did you build that too? OR, did you buy one? Also, what does it cost; ballpark??
Chassis was custom ordered/built to support the home design (16" centers, deck brackets, etc.) Cost start in the 300s
