    Christiane is a thoughtful and compelling journalist, I hope she gets those interviews with the autocrats, dictators, politicians and oil execs that she's asking for. I'd also be curious to see them spell out their worldview and see how the people feel about it. Leaders should be accountable to the people, they should have to sell their ideas to us for support, and if there is no support from the people, they should be removed from their leadership positions. Christian is an incredible interviewer and I'd love to see more of her putting "leaders" in the hot seat.

    You would rather discuss the riots in Europe (in France, the police injured people who came out to protest, in Spain, detentions of those who voted for independence continue in Catalonia) and America - hundreds of blacks die from police violence every year than to suck Iran and Ukraine out of your finger.When Ukraine blocked the Crimean water channel and blew up power lines, you didn't notice it. When they fired from large-caliber guns at peaceful settlements, Europe did not see anything, although it was the guarantor of the Minsk agreements.

    This is such an important topic to spread around for awareness because on Twt even in own K-Pop Fandom "Stay" there's has been many of our fellow Iran Stays who fear while still spreading the word of this issue and its injustices, while our Ukrainian Stays are also in jeopardy because it's war they are dealing with,I really do hope things will get better in both places sooner...

    The war in Ukraine 🇺🇦 is simply opening your eyes to the reality in the financial system, and political system... Banks in Ukraine 🇺🇦 are closed, Real estate firm and other businesses are also closed too. As gas price causes inflation. Only crypto holders are spending money with ease..

    Seems necessary to substantiate the relationship between political/personal freedom of people in Ukraine and taking back versus giving up Russia-occupied territory.

  • @joshuapaul2022
    @joshuapaul2022 2 ปีที่แล้ว +14

    Meanwhile in real life the war is lost by Ukraine . Erratic Zelenskyy reminds Hitler in 1945 . He shells a nuclear plant under Russian control. He wants to drive to grave as many people as possible. Half of Ukraine has a blackout and winter hasn't even started. Zelenskyy regime banned marking of soldiers' graves with Ukrainian flags. Endless forests of flags at cemeteries across Ukraine proved to be too demoralizing and scary for those still desperately trying to escape forced conscription (which is tantamount to a certain death warrant) .

    • @kanssamatkustaja
      @kanssamatkustaja 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Then why is Ukraine not being defeated? Why are they successfully counter-attacking and recapturing entire provinces? Why is the Russian military being depleted to a point where they have to enact conscription?
      And taking actions against demoralization is normal during times of war, in Russia you cannot go around demoralizing people either because they are AT WAR. Attacking civilians will not make Ukraine lose the war either, it will just make people hate Russia more and increase the determination of the AFU, just like the terror tactics of Daesh turned everyone against them instead of scaring people into submission.

    And for your record , hijab is not just a headscarf , it's more like covering you body including hair , to keep your decency

  • @mohammadmehdisaboori4357
    @mohammadmehdisaboori4357 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    That was not all the story of Iran. I'm living in Iran.
    Hijab was not a law after revolution. And the law enforced by parliament (Islamic consultative assembly) several years after the revolution. Not by Khomeini and not in the beginning of Islamic Republic of 🇮🇷.
    And Mahsa Amini died by a MI. Not by police. Police took her to a classroom. Not to the jail.
    Demonstration against that law was a street riot in the first day and now somehow a war. Probably with guns against police and people. We had a lot of police martyrs in this month!
    Say true story!

    All the things you said about Iran, the president, women, our country, etc. are not true. When you don't live in a country and you don't live among its people, it's better not to judge it. Let's be logical, every country has its own law, such as America, England, etc., which must be observed by its people. Why don't you talk about the homeless in America and different countries, why don't you talk about the many problems that exist in the world. Why don't you show the beautiful places of Iran and its good features.
    Please solve your own problems and failures, Iranian do not need a defender.
