Welcome to Meg's Crime Watch! I'm not a #Lawyer, and I don't play one on #TH-cam! I do have degrees in #LegalStudies and #Research and I will #Search to find the #Best #Court #Cases for you!!! They won't all be #Crazy, #Wild, #Wacky tales of #Karen and #Kevin, but they all will be interesting in their own way and something you won't see on every other #LawTube channel. I will #DeepDive into the #Background and give you the #WholeStory in a way that even #JudgeJudy would #Approve of!!! I am a #Proud #MSWarrior, so there may be some #Mistakes, but we can't all be #Perfect like #JudgeBoyd! I love her, but I would rather #KeepItReal like #JudgeSimpson!!!

@@discdoggie Those pictures were dated about a week before they moved in, and show a house in reasonably good shape. Of course there's no way to confirm/deny leaks in the pipes and such. But, why would the renter be in such a tizz over painting the entire house, when it appears the paint job is in pretty decent shape already? And the list of other repairs--why did the landlord have to spend so much money replacing doorknobs, unless they had managed to break all the doorknobs? As far as windows and patching drywall, I raised two boys, I know how that goes and sometimes it's unavoidable--I learned how to glaze windows and patch drywall myself because my landlord was very elderly and lived in another town. Anyway, most of the evidence presented here seems like these were nightmare tenants, even if the landlord might have been exaggerating on a couple of things.

And, after a little bit of time has passed if they fail to at least be making payments towards it the courts will order wage garnishments to some degree on them. All toilets work unless clogged. The mechanical components can break down over time, but you don't even need them. You could take the tank completely off, and have nothing but the bowl sitting on the floor, and the toilet will still operate, you just have to pour a couple gallons of water in the toilet bowl, and it will flush itself. We just live in a country where our people view a toilets operation as "puSh bUTtOn, ToiLEt go wHOosH"

I moved into a cheaper old shoebox apartment from the 60's with my boyfriend and ive spent so much time scrubbing and cleaning and fixing the old shabby things at my apartment! I couldn't imagine living like her

I don't believe they fixed ANYTHING!!! But even if they did....they are not professionals! I would not want those people allegedly fixing the plumbing, replacing pipes, walls and etc. They are full of BS.

You’re the best! These cases drive me crazy, and they show no good deed goes unpunished. The fact the landlords collected is a miracle!

This happened to me, too. The only way we were able to collect money from all the damage and back rent was through a company that collects money thru garnishment. Tenant worked for the post office so we were able to collect some of what was owed. Worst experience of my life. Ill never ever be a landlord again!

They were being evicted? That should have been a red flag.
