Bruiser *should* be the best Briar build in theory, but in my games it seems like crit is pretty much always just better. Navori gives you basically perma W, and your crit Ws basically heal you to full, so you just demolish everyone whilst sustaining so much it kinda makes up for the lack of health/resistances. At first I thought Ravenous was a good idea, because AOE + healing + damage ontop of W AOE + healing + damage, but I've ditched it for now. Crit is better, and I find you don't wanna go Ravenous first because the buildpath is meh. Maybe it would work 2nd item or something, after Duskblade like you're running a lethality Yorick build.
idk what crack ur smoking ravenous is obvs gon be trash on a champion that has inbuilt aoe lifestyle. Ravenous is only good on champion lacking wave clear. Fiora, Yorick etc

Looking at Briar damage in this video vs Briar damage now at 14.11 and it's a completely different champ. W bite damage is literally halved and W attack speed is barely anything compared to this.
Tbh if enemy top laner is smart he will just poke you and go away always. As briar doesnt have natural health regen and if you make sure she can't go to hit minions its a absolute nightmate lane for briar
"I need to find a late game build" (Is still building bork first) Build more bruiser, win more late game. The issue with bork is it takes a spot from an item that can give you tanky stats

yeah, she's a diver/skirmisher, she needs health and a bit of tankiness to be useful. Crit is great when you're fed af, otherwise is beyond useless.

the best briar build in theory is like a pantheon with lethality and resists. HP isnt great synergy with her kit other than the linear obvious scaling
