மத்திய பாதுகாப்புத் துறை அமைச்சர் ராஜ்நாத் சிங் நாட்டு மக்களிடமும், ராணுவ வீரர்களிடமும் மன்னிப்பு கேட்க வேண்டும் என்று எதிர்க்கட்சி தலைவர் ராகுல் காந்தி வலியுறுத்தியுள்ளார். மக்களவையில் பேசிய ராகுல் காந்தி அக்னிவீர் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட வீரர்கள் பணியின்போது உயிரிழந்தால் அவர்களுக்கு இழப்பீடு கூட வழங்கப்படுவதில்லை என குற்றம் சாட்டினார். அப்போது குறிக்கிட்டு பேசிய மத்திய பாதுகாப்பு துறை அமைச்சர் ராஜ்நாத் சிங், ராகுல் காந்தி கூறுவது பொய் என்றும் அக்னிவீர் திட்ட ராணுவ வீரர்கள் பணியின் போது உயிரிழந்தால் அவர்களின் குடும்பத்தினருக்கு ஒரு கோடி ரூபாய் வரை இழப்பீடாக வழங்கப்படுவதாக தெரிவித்தார். இதன் தொடர்ச்சியாக காணொலி ஒன்றை ராகுல் காந்தி வெளியிட்டுள்ளார். அதில், உயிரிழந்த ராணுவ வீரர்களின் குடும்பத்தினருடன் தான் உரையாடிய காட்சிகளை ராகுல் காந்தி இணைத்துள்ளார். ஷஹீத் அஜய் சிங் என்ற உயிரிழந்த ராணுவ வீரரின் தந்தை, தங்களுக்கு எந்த பணமும் வரவில்லை என தெரிவித்துள்ளார். இதனால் மக்களவையில் ராஜ்நாத் சிங் பொய் கூறி இருப்பதாக ராகுல்காந்தி குற்றம் சாட்டியுள்ளார்.

When I was in college I got a friend from a Ramanathapuram and his two brothers were in Indian Army through agniveer scheme and unfortunately they both died !! Nearly that family got 1.5cr from Government and with that money that boy is studying in my college and placed in a TCS company

If Agniveer scheme is not there, they would get 1.5 crore compensation plus family pension. Now pension is cut. The families can get only compensation. Also they won't be graded as martyrs. They won't be eligible for awards like Param Vir Chakra.

But defence guideline is only 29. Every yr this recruitment going to continue whereby we will have experienced jawans in hand n will support when demand arises during war. So benefits r 1. Better salary, 2. Good cash package on 4th yr end, 3. Preference in govt security jobs like police depts, 4. Interested start new business, 5. Bharat will have good amount of jawans for our Bharat defence and 6. Heavy insurance amt of Rs. one cr as max. if dead in service.
