I used to listen to this song when I would ride my bike to my job cooking for an Italian restaurant in the summer of 2018. My first job, and one of the most memorable summers of my life. I had gotten a girlfriend who worked at the same place, and I'd known her for three years beforehand. It was the best summer of my life. I went to see her every day that summer and we had a blast. I would ride home at 10 or 11 at night listening to this and other beats on my playlist. But this song always will remind me of that summer where life was perfect. Thank you for the happiness I was given, and the nostalgia this song brings me. A reminder of better times.

This song is the reason why I love eurobeat, everything from the beat, the lyrics, and the story. For instance, the beat is out of this world, it's just too distinct and unique from anything I've listened. Furthermore, the lyrics is so relatable, like it makes me feel like I'm in this long-distance relationship, fighting for my peace of mind and to yearn for my partner, not wanting to waste another day away from loving them. Similarly, the story of the song just makes me feel like I'm involved with what's happening, I know what happened in the game, but hearing it in this song makes it feel like its something else. In short, I am in love with this song, I thought that it wouldn't last for long, but I've been listening for years now and only now have I had a thought to make a comment. I love this song. Honestly i feel pretty nostalgic now after hearing this song. It has been over a year now since i first ever heard it. At that time i haven’t even discovered Touhou yet! I just discovered this video in a Forza Horizon 4 video by Deoxide. I would just jam to this song non stop, but also then i got curious by the art shown in the video. I was like (and im gonna piss some fans off); “damn i never heard of these anime characters before”. I was between that and also thinking that this is some random anime like artstyle. Then i saw like multiple time the red and white dress girl with the big red bow and those hair thingies she has on each side of her front long hair. That would eventually be Reimu. I was curious mostly of the art of the four girls in one of the first pictures shown in the video, which i would discover eventually that it would be Marisa, Reimu, Sanae, and Reisen. The Reisen one i was most confused of because when i discovered Touhou and her character she was wearing like some sort of business suit but then eventually i found out she has two outfits, tho the one with the white t shirt and red skirt is wore by her rarely. Anyways, i was pretty intrigued on what these characters were, but unfortunately i didn’t got much info. Then i decided to look the comments, then i saw people mentioning the word “Touhou”. I thought then of it as the name of the “anime” (im sorry), so i searched on TH-cam. Then *BOOM!* suddenly my mind was blown, a lot of content was plenty of it. Scrolling down i mostly found about Marisa and Reimu but yet could not understand about them or Touhou in general. So i then started to search what was it. Sadly not much about it was found. But then i found a video made by TH-camr Illogical Pines (ty for making me know about it), which then i clicked the video and that’s when my mind truly was blown and amazed. Knowing about Touhou which would be a series of games dating back all the way to the mid 90s, the main characters and Gensokyo, the magical land where everything took place and started on. Filled by intrigue and determination i would find every single thing and information about Touhou. Eventually i would discover about the games, the creator which would be ZUN and how himself made Touhou, most of the big characters like Sakuya, Youmou, Eirin, Remilia, Reisen, Sanae Cirno and many others and also about the expanded lore, going all the way past games like mangas, books and of course the insane fantastic and unique fandom. Unlike any fandom i have been, this one truly was special. It wasn’t as toxic an many, the community seemed very mature and friendly and most importantly, very damn dedicated. Hell they even go and made an ANIME based on the events from Touhou! And WELL MADE! I was honestly without words on how impressive Touhou was. And that brings us to today. A fully loyal, pledged, and also dedicated fan to this incredible series and also community. I honestly would like to thanks T. Stebbins (aka Ken Blast in Initial D) and his marvelous song because it has lead me to discover something unique, beautiful and incredible. And while i still have much to learn about more of the lesser characters of the franchise and more about the lore and some couple of games and other works, im sure ill eventually know about it and let myself be amazed by it. Truly have no regrets for discovering the song and Touhou in general Thank you truly Deoxide and T. Stebbins for making me step into this magical world! ❤️:)
