It really does feel like saying goodbye to an old friend :'( I played aishiteru banzai for my send off and cried the whole time
I haven't played LLSIF in a long time, but........ it's just a gacha game, but Love Live got me through some seriously dark stuff 2014-2017ish. Gave me something to do every day and something to look forward to with events and new sets. I'm sincerely grateful for that, and for all the wonderful people I met. RIP :(
this feels so surreal, love live was basically my childhood. i found it on the app store when my 5th grader self was searching for an aikatsu game. and then i downloaded llsif, and watched the anime. now i am in university, time passes very fast, and i knew one day love live would shut down, but never expected it to be so sudden.
but i am looking forward to sif2, i hope it will be a good game.
Relate to the part of searching an Aikatsu game but ended up with SIF. No regrets though

In these last few years I havent played it much but I absolutely loved it back in early high school and to this day this is my favorite style of rhythm game; hopefully the upcoming successor has that same style of gameplay! Rest in peace, School Idol Festival.....1 :)

I played SIF for over 6 years. When the service terminated, I had over 10,000 loveca sitting in my account, unused. No regrets, I enjoyed the game and hope SIF2 will be just as good.

Yes,Its already gone.I played it at lunch and got the message.I was singing Ego rock and i was playing sif with my tablet and I just started to cry when I saw the message I cried all the tears of my body and now im dehydrated 😭
I was obsessed with this game from the very beginning of 2019 to mid 2020. I eventually fell out of it and the love live franchise, so much so that i missed the termination of service announcement and never got to say my goodbyes to the game that ruled over me in middle school :(
Was playing Rhythm Carnival right at the end. A lot of Thank You's and some madlads used the temple bell emote/sound to signify the end of the game. I'm sad that it ended but glad that I got to experience it with the community right until the last moment.
I tried to record the entire thing but my phone ran out of storage I'm regretting not cleaning up space beforehand =(
Goodbye to my first rhythm game. I played it so much, and this was back when my iPad was a potato. You will be missed, SIF.

This game was my everything all through middle and high school. I’m so sad I won’t be able to play it again, but I’m hopeful for the new game.
its genuinely so saddening that a game i grew up playing that was full of happy fun colors and bright popping music just ends so abruptly. there is no farewell music, no fanfare, nothing. the game just ends. after 10 years it caved. and it just leaves those who played it feeling empty.
Lost my acc and probably got deleted when they upgraded the server cuz I played it when there was only u's (2013 - 2016). I really went hard in tiering, only got sleep for like few hours cuz I had to juggle up between tiering and school tasks lmao. But then my potato phone couldn't handle the game anymore after so long and so after I lost my acc i just stopped altogether. Kinda regret not getting back into the game sooner but it was fun and a fond memory. Thanks for accompanying my junior and early senior high days, you will be missed ❤️
Though I never had the chance to experience the game myself, iI know this game has brought so many people together and changed so many’s lives, so for that, thank you, LLSIF! ❤
Used to nerd on this game, but after losing my account I stopped playing (they upgraded the servers, so my account was prolly deleted). It's a bit sad to see it go, but I'm thankful I was able to play it and for the cheerful memories

I played Yuujou no Change and then I got that message, I'm still so broken up about it 😭 I started playing in 2015, I'm hopeful Sif2 is just as fun.
I missed SIF 1 so much, and when I thought about playing it again, the game was shut down. 😭
I'll be waiting to play SIF 2! The date can't come any sooner, which makes me a bit sad. Although it is something to look forward to!

Why was this so depressing to watch... I played SIF from 2016 - 2019 until I lost my EN account, and didn't play since. It's very nostalgic, and it got me into the Love Live series, that I still love so much to this day.

I downloaded sif back then in 2015 (me 14 yo) searching for good games in play store and then I discovered the entire love live franchise.
All my life I've been a metalhead, but this thing just come up right before i began building a personality, and I was kinda ashamed of that, but I really really really liked love live, and I still do. I'm 23, I have a job and I'm very different from 9 years in the past, but the love for love live and this game have always been the same.
How they dare to shut down this game.

Nope, it shut down as of 31/03/2023 on all servers to make way for LLSIF 2. Some regions will allow you to transfer any remaining data from LLSIF 1 to LLSIF 2 sometime when the game launches. Man, RIP SIF 1.. you’ll be missed.

Some regions will allow you to transfer any remaining data from the first game to the new one so if you haven’t deleted it yet I’d say don’t until you know if you can get the data transferred

Nope, on the official website it says that it’ll be shutting down its services forever for SIF 1. And even worse, those (only) in the European Union will not be able to transfer any existing data from SIF 1 to 2: Miracle Music!… Luckily I can transfer my data despite residing in Europe still.

I haven’t played this game much but it was really prominent to many people and I played the heck out of it in 2017. Your legacy will live on, sad to see it go. 🫡
