Send some rain my way. Not a single drop all month in Sylacauga AL, and the heat index is in the triple digits. I am having to increase watering in most areas of my garden to daily watering. I am still harvesting squash, tomatoes, peppers, pole beans, and cucumbers most days, if not daily. My herbs are doing well. and my melons are doing great with wtermelon and cantaloupe on the vine. I just added a hen house with three Rhode Island Red and two Speckled Sussex hens to my garden area. They are manuer machines! I have a chicken run scheduled for delivery tomorrow. Blue Berries need acidic soil with a PH between 5.5-6.5, so be sure to add an acidifier. Happy gardening!

@@Urbansuburbanhomestead It started raining at 2:00 pm, and rained for three hours. It is the first rain shower this month. Usually, it rains the first week of July here in Sylacauga Al. There is no rain in the forecast. The heat has been miserable the last three days, 102F in the shade.

Did you try the soursop leaves tea to help with sleep?
Yesss the weather has been crazy and been working extra I also traveled out of town back home. I did try the Soupsop leaves in some tea it was a very calming feel I didn't fall asleep but I think bc I had it in the morning.
I did grow bags and it was hard as they dry out here in central Florida. I switched to just tilling, adding soil, compose, and various other garden essentials and my plants tripled in size. Heavy mulching to retain moisture etc. if u r close I have mulch u can have. 🙏🏾
Hey We are finding out the grow bag struggle. Thanks for the tips we will def apply it. We live near wesley chapel and Tampa we would love some mulch and to meet you. Just have to send and email and we can set up a time. Thanks again
