It's kinda funny. I went on a trip to Japan a few years back. When I was there, this is what I watched. I watched it on the 20 hour plane ride. I watched it on those nights when I couldn't sleep because I couldn't figure out where to buy Japanese niquil. And I remember waking up, and tuning in to the adventures of Vineland Island while I got my things together every morning. And now, I'm revisiting it. It's pretty strange how this stupid, nonsense game is so nostalgic for me now. Even just hearing that theme music gets me genuinely emotional. Funny how a game can do that to you.

This series has been a fixture in my life ever since it’s debut. I remember watching live the summer of my freshman year in high school, during my first week of college, off and on throughout, and now I’m back a decade later watching all over again, about to start my second job in my professional career. Thank you, Vappy for uploading this in such an accessible format.
Going back to these streams 6 years later, and it's downright surreal how similar yet different Vinesauce was back then. To go back to a time where The Full Sauce didn't even exist yet and see all the ramifications it had leading up to the Vinesauce of today is astounding. This video and series as a whole has a lot of stating power seeing as its been 10 years since vappy uploaded the entire vod and helped jumpstart the full sauce channels (may he rest in peace). That said, I can't help but realize that this entire series helped shape my humor throughout my high school years when this came out, hell it still influences my humor to this very day, had I not watched the series back when I was a freshman in high school, I'm not entirely sure what kind of a person I'd be today, and for that I'm glad this series is what helped me, and I'm sure many others, become the people we are today.
To think, this is where it all began for me as a Vinesauce fan. Sure, I had seen the Mario 64 and DKC corruption videos, but Tomodachi Life is what really made Vinesauce as a collective stick in my mind. I know you're no longer with us Vappy, but thank you for archiving these streams. I wish there was more I could have said, or even say now, but really, thank you.

And before that I made characters from Ratatoing but I don't intend on keeping those characters much longer for obvious reasons.

I just learned about it today, starting my 7th or 8th time rewatching this series. Jonathan was a great man who has helped tons of people through some really rough times, myself included, by saving these streams, and helping Vinny. My heart aches for his family and his friends. May his legacy and name forever be preserved by these streams and his influence on Vinesauce, and all of us. We love you and miss you, Vappy. Thank you for everything you've done, and may you always rest in peace.
I was there for most of these streams live. I can't believe its been almost 9 years! It's had a lasting impression on myself and the community for sure. Every time I see vinny I still think "Hey, its vinuhsauce's lookalike!" and I find myself remembering random things from the series nearly every day. I'd love for vinny to return to vineland island some time. And I wish I could thank Vappy personally for editing and uploading all of these streams, and for being present when they went live. Vappy, I'll always remember you.
Every now and then I find a reason to go back and rewatch this series, typically as it starts to get colder in November-December. 5-6 years ago it was while I was curled up and slacking off during Thanksgiving/Winter break, and now I'm doing my work from home job as an adult but it still brings me the same cozy comfort haha.

I just realized after looking at the date at the right corner in 13:45 and looking at the first set of screenshots I took of Tomodachi Life, I played the game at the 5th anniversary as Vinny did.

I just learned about it today, starting my 7th or 8th time rewatching this series. Jonathan was a great man who has helped tons of people through some really rough times, myself included, by saving these streams, and helping Vinny. My heart aches for his family and his friends. May his legacy and name forever be preserved by these streams and his influence on Vinesauce, and all of us. We love you and miss you, Vappy. Thank you for everything you've done, and may you always rest in peace.
I was there for most of these streams live. I can't believe its been almost 9 years! It's had a lasting impression on myself and the community for sure. Every time I see vinny I still think "Hey, its vinuhsauce's lookalike!" and I find myself remembering random things from the series nearly every day. I'd love for vinny to return to vineland island some time. And I wish I could thank Vappy personally for editing and uploading all of these streams, and for being present when they went live. Vappy, I'll always remember you.

Every now and then I find a reason to go back and rewatch this series, typically as it starts to get colder in November-December. 5-6 years ago it was while I was curled up and slacking off during Thanksgiving/Winter break, and now I'm doing my work from home job as an adult but it still brings me the same cozy comfort haha.
