Almost everything Forestella does is A LOT. That's why I love them. ❤ Just insanely talented and so theatrical. They tickle my brain in all the right ways. 😂 By the way, "Utopia" is part 2 of an ongoing series, "Save Our Lives" is part 1. They don't have a lot of MVs because they're more known for their live performances and insane covers. But I also love their original songs like "White Night" and "Snow Globe".
Utopia is a sequel to their “ Save our lives” video from “ Forestella’s World tree” series. Acts 1-3 is in Save our lives. Acts 4-6 in Utopia . Part 3 is yet to be released. Probably next year after the 4th member returns from the military service. Meanwhile their “ White night” video is of a similar theme. Live forestella performances are mind blowing!

Came for Forestella, stayed for the reaction. LOL This is the 2nd of a 3 part song series. The first one is “Save Our Lives” and the 3rd is yet to be released. (You can see the chapter numbers and titles as part of the video). These boys are technically “Classical Crossover” like Il Volo or Il Divo, but they refuse to be pigeonholed into a genre (as you can see). You will find them singing everything from K-pop to Tango. They always put their special flair on the songs they perform and they are masters of live performances. They usually stand left to right: Woorim (Classically trained Bass) Hyungho (Rocker with a killer Soprano voice) Mingyu (Leader and classically trained Tenor) Doohoon (Musical Theater Actor) They were made a team on an elimination competition show called “Phantom Singer”. Their voices are so very unique and if you listened to them individually you would never think they would sound good as a group but they are seriously magical when their voices come together as one. Covers I recommend: “Lazenca, Save Us”, “Bad Romance”, “Despacito”, “Time in a Bottle” “MAMA (EXO cover)”, “Scarborough Fair”. Original Songs I recommend: “Save Our Lives”, “Kool”. Live stage videos are all awesome but when it comes to the originals it is worth watching the M/Vs because they are amazing!! And... they sound fantastic even on the worst fancam video you can find on YT! The vocal quality shows up naturally. They just can't help it 😆
First of all there are a huge number of people who LOVE the music videos precisely because of their incredible vocals. Forestella music videos of Save our Lives and Utopia have an absolute reason for existence….they are intentional and set up the story that can then be sung LIVE …but all the elements and messaging aspects are NOT evident in the LIVE performances! They always put so much of themselves into the music videos, and I’m frustrated that, because they MISS THE ENTIRE POINT of Forestella music videos…some want to disparage or dismiss their vocals as somehow inferior or deficient. The performances in question are just different. Some of them are works of art. They don’t have many music videos, but what they do manage to produce for us is absolutely incredible. Why can’t both m/v and LIVE stage offerings from Forestella be enjoyed in the way they were intended by the group.?! In the m/vs of the trilogy series, HyungHo mentioned that they have clues scattered throughout the videos.…… That is why they showcase both sensory experiences! I defy anyone to tell me they would understand the trilogy just from live stage performances! There are intricacies in the music videos that cannot be replicated in a LIVE stage performance and there is a dynamism in a LIVE stage performance in front of a LIVE audience that is not replicable…so we get both worlds and get to enjoy Forestella twofold. So no, we are not going to stop recommending music videos….that would be an insult to Doohoon, HyungHo, Woorim and MinGyu and all the hardworking team around them and the majority of fans who love the m/vs. And a disservice to new fans who are on the cusp of discovering their discography and videography. 😢Music videos are part of the artistry that Forestella visually expresses and provide other insights into what the lyrics mean…they require multiple viewings as per FORESTELLA’s advice.. They don’t exist only for auditory consideration 😊 they are visual tools and a conduit for conveying the deeper meaning of what the songs are really about. Remember SNOW GLOBE? The visuals have so much purpose.,..but I’m also looking forward to their Live staging aspect of it so much. Listen again to their explanation of the genesis of that composition and the subsequent input and development of Hyungho’s original concept. These works are not just songs. Their incredible vocal performance of it is only one dimension of the final offering to fans and potential listeners. Forestella IS this group that makes incredible music videos and can also perform the same songs Live with spectacular vocal mastery. Even KOOL has messaging in the video! Unless you watch the music video, you will not understand how and why that message was delivered and that it was done with deliberate intention…these need to be conveyed to Reactors and their viewers otherwise they’re not getting the full picture.🎉
FORESTELLA's videos have messages and can be best expressed in this way. An infinite amount of work and passion has gone into these artistically incredibly impressive works. These videos are very dear to the group's heart. And everyone who was involved can be very proud of them!!!

Ko WooRim's bass and Bae Doo-Hoon's lovely rasp, plus Kang and Cho and their Tenor range...
