There will be also a second kind of chinese 151 booster pack released which is called collect 151 and has a different pack art. These supposedly will contain some ARs too. They'll be given out for certain activities fhr which I currently could not find any more information about.
I just found the information about the Pikachu ARs on the Pokémon center china website. 1 AR is confirmed to be included in the Chinese 151 journey set while the others will be released in collect 151 boosters. Unfortunately I can't post the link here in the comments but I can send it to you.
looks fun and will probably be worth a lot later because people will just skip or be unaware of this set. I feel as though people are focused way more on the english stuff coming out in 2025. I did however miss that Chinese Anniversary Box for like a hundred and something and now they are going for like $500.
I think there should be art rares besides Pikachu in this set. For what it's worth, the Lugia V full art and Giratina V full art in simplified Chinese were both counted as SR, which there are 12 of in the Let's Collect 151 set. Look up the images to see for yourself.
I'm just getting into S-Chiniese and in thinking of buying the Umbreon vmax alt art. Is it a good idea? I don't want to spend over 1K for the English version
I was in same boat as you. Same quality as Japanese (since they're printed in Japan despite being chinese language) for a fraction of the cost. I would highly recommend if you are seeking to collect rather than seek value. Chinese doesn't have resale value compared to ENG and JP markets (yet? only time will tell). But if you simply want the card for its beautiful art, I would recommend :)

Having been to mainland China, I couldn't find one place that sold the TCG. Beautiful country and love the culture. Hot pot was so good!
