    Rob, you are so right. This Oris diver looks so cool I could almost wear it with a tuxedo and not feel overdressed f o r the watch. It is on my radar for sure.

    I really like the specs of this watch. I don't like big and chunky watches. This one is appealing. It is out of my price range at this point but really like it.

    Grabbed the first 65 I saw for under $1k and real glad I did. It is a unique, handsome 40mm retro highbeat and can be found almost affordable for patient surfers.

    I picked up a bronze bezel with gilt hands and markers instead of the printed dial shown here model for $1200 from Jomashop. It's beautiful! Usually they are around $1400 to $1500 more from there, but if you keep looking every so often they take an extra couple hundred off one model or another

    2+ years. My every day watch. I love it. Mine is reliable and cozy. +6 a day. Self-winding works well. Curved dial and domed crystal is psychedelic. Mine is inky black but with the bronze bezel w/ aluminum insert and rose gold PVD, which gives it a great warm glow. Strap it on every morning and it makes me smile.

    This watch is MUCH better on a strap than on the bracelet. Wish Oris had not tapered the bacelet so much. The lume is very good too. Unique dial, a keeper for sure!

    Always felt like mine had a Clunky cheap feel to rotating the bezel but after that fact absolutely loved mine. Amazing case, awesome call to give up 100 feet of water resistance to keep it slim, rubber strap was indistinguishable from the tropic brand. If you’re thinking about getting one stop wasting your time, it’s obvious you need it!

    My problem is that I have never sold a watch that I have purchased. You do? Oh the inhumanity!!

  • @1SaG
    @1SaG 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    At MSRP this is definitely overpriced. At around $1,000 or, say, slightly above Christopher Ward Trident money, this is pretty tempting. Although, come to think of it ... the Oris has the same movement, way less WR and a less interesting case-profile (IMO) than the CW... :D
    But anyway: I still love the overall look of this version of the 65... this is retro done right. If it were my money, I'd go for the black and blue colourway of this dial-design.

    • @Tangylives
      @Tangylives 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree, it's hard to justify the Oris 65 vs the CW 65 imo. Especially at retail.

    So, that watch runs around -6 to -10 (slow) per 24 hours. If that's my watch, it will not be worn. I like my watch to run 0 to 5 sec fast on the wrist. I set my watches on the plus side, 5 to 10 sec. fast with the dial on the up position on the timegrapher.
