I’ve had a mini for a while now and use it everyday for practice. Thanks for the review Nick. Good to hear you play through this impressive little amp.
Fantastic video Thank you so much for that Just bought the Spark Mini for my 12 year old daughter as she is showing interest in playing an electric guitar. For the money you can’t get anything better, with all the options included from the app it is astounding and the sounds is incredible
I ordered one for shooting videos through the app. You are on point on documenting progress. I wish you made a 5 second video just so people can get an idea on how to record with sound coming in direct from the amp.
Hi Nick, great amp and can do more. I have my Spark40 hooked up to a Marshall 2x12 cab via the headphone jack into a EH 44 magnum power amp pedal to cab. This works a treat and is as loud as you want. Amp sounds the dugs nuts through the cab 😊
Watching this through my spark mini. I was as sceptical as I was hyped for this little fella. And it absolutely is impressive af. Never underestimate tiny people! ❤
Great review, I am looking for a practice amp but with all the new compact products now like the nano cortex, toneX I am not sure if going with the spark or just going for those units.
Lately been checking out demos for the Spark Mini. I'd been looking at some other Chinese mini battery amps that are cheaper but I'm getting the sense that Positive Grid is way better quality and loads of features plus a rechargeable lithium battery is a big plus. I hate using AA batteries in my "Fly" practice amp so looking for an upgrade to something better.

@@jst2889not completely useless...you can play backing tracks to play along with (with your guitar on it's own or plugged into another separate amp...I did that for a while until I got a mini)
Come on dude… its a PRACTICE amp…. Always amazes me how people talk about these little teeny weenie amplifiers as if they’re going to go play gigs with them….
Don't know how did you manage to get so loud sound through the headphones output. Mine is useless with headphones due to the significantly lower level of the signal compared with the speaker. I'm not the only one to complain about this issue (google it). This is a huge downside of the amp as it practically can be used only through the speaker. If someone is planing to use it with headphones better look elsewhere.

Glad you're enjoying the amp too. Thanks for watching

Does the amp includes the App? Or you have to purchase that separately?
The app is free but useless without any of the 3 Amps. Spark, mini, go.

Dimi did you try a cheap headphone amplifier?
I have one, it inspired me to play more.
Is it loud enough to busk with?
no
Can I use it for Harmonica?
Sure. Why not!
Does anyone know how loud this amp is. Could you use it on a jazz gig?
Mini is 10 watts so it depends on the size of the room. Safer bet is getting the Spark 40 watt amp for a bit more $$$

Buy the Joyo 15 watt DC 15S for almost the same price, $199 and you get a footswitch, and it's way louder then this one.
Joyo DC15S got roasted pretty hard by Elmo Karjalainen, I'm gonna pass

Sounds too dark and muddy..
