    A very appreciative west coast tour, with some much needed upgrades to the infrastructure. Transportation networks are at the heart of every economic boom; it's a superb effort to invigorate the island's trunk roads and stimulate the economy.

    Thanks for the video, how many road projects are being done at the same time in Jamaica? I see the Hagley Park road project, Mandela Highway Project, The new road going to Chapelton, a new highway in Westmoreland and now this one.
    That is 5 major projects, this is incredible. I have not been home in 6 yrs Jamaica will be a new place by the time I get there.

      @@drewski1441 It truly is beautiful. Jamaica is being gentrified, or fixed up for foreigners whom are taking it over as Jamaicans continue to infight each other. We need to change our mindset on how we conduct our daily lives and how we treat each other.

      Seriously. Remember when Portia went to China and people was cussing about her many trips . This was when many of these deal contacts was agreed upon. It takes years to put these things into motion. It so happens that now the parties realize that it doesn't matter who start the work ,you have to stop the cancellation, when you get in power. This government dont have to do much the blue print was already lay down by previous government like it or not. All ruling gov't get credit and why not. Obama work credit go to Trump.

      JLP winning in westmoreland n Hanover is something u n grandkids will never see. They’re the dumbest set of ppl in Jamaica (die hearted). They’ll nyam u out n den vote against u. PNP don’t have to do a damn thing to get their votes.

      @@sanchezwhyte3641 seriously the people there are not stupid unlike you who have been allowing yourself to be tricked by Andrew and his government soooooo many times...
      The people know that the road projects should really be credited to the PNP as it were them who created the plan, draft up the blue print and allocated the funds (MONEY) for it. However they were waiting on some paper works from NWC to be completed before the projects could started. So you see your government didn't do much but get on easy ride and have you people tripping oh he is good.

      There we go ! With the same old dinosaur politics, it is the people's road not JLP or PNP. Politicians are hired by the ballot to do a job, not anointed.

    • @decijohn6855
      @decijohn6855 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@angelamiller2105 Angela Miller, we must rise above being ordinary. We must give more than what is expected of us. The criticism is that the road must be wide enough and all safety considerations are in place, so that our people won't get injured when traveling on the road. Now, you tell me why that is not valid, Ms., Miller? The government of Jamaica is paying to get this road constructed, so we want value for money, so that is my point. So, don't jump to agree with an obvious dunce. You see I would not respond to him
      He doesn't worth my time. Those are the kinds that are destroying Jamaica. Jamaica, messy!

    Mr Lex : The JLP government brought CHEC to Jamaica and started a programme on infrastructure name Jamaica Development infrastructure programme JDIP but didn't do much just small jobs but on the other hand the PNP government make use of CHEC because the money was available and the PNP have a *PLAN* like those road project that comes under Major infrastructure development programme Marcus Garvey drive road project, Mandela hwy improvement project, 3mile road improvements project, constant spring improvements project, barbican improvements project, South camp road improvements project, ferris to mackfiedld improvements project, junction improvements project in st Mary etc that project in st Mary is not CHEC the funds for Junction was secured by the previous government in 2014 from the Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic development KFAED values exceeding $200 million usd
