LOVED this!!!🔥🔥🔥 And I LOVE that you apply the proper brand top coats for each color... It really helps to give us a great idea of how each brand works together instead of just your favorite top coat! SOOOOOO excited for Part 3!💜
My go-tos are Essie Expressie Second Hand, First Love, Essie Chinchilly, and any olive green (my current is OPI Olive For Green). I really like how much darker the navy OPI shade dried!
I exhausted two bottles of Junon, but next opted for Chanel Washed Denim 566 which is a bit bluer than Junon. I also went through several Essie MCA because its mint color is an adorable summer pedicure. As reds go, I can't live without Chanel Rouge Noir, Pirate and Dior Nuit. Also adore Jinsoon's Ardor and Audacity shades of red. A friend who works for Vogue NY said one of their office favorites is Essie Geranium - not quite red; not quite orange. I use it frequently for springtime pedicures. I've never tried Dazzle Dry but looking at Silver Lame, I might now try the system. Thanks for the video.
Great video, one off my favorite colours to wear is OPI Don’t bossa nova me around. Pink, gray, nude cream colour. It’s from the Brazil collection Beautiful on all skin tones 💕💕💅🏼💅🏼
I've been looking for a sheer pink/nude to use as sort of a "blurring basecoat", and that Orly pink looks like it might be what I'm looking for. Thanks for sharing!

I think the navy is a great idea for something that goes with everything. I may try that expressie shade. I tried it for the first time since you think highly of it and was impressed! I like that the color you chose was not looking black on the nail. Before I looked at swatches I often bought a polish that was so much darker on the nail than I thought it would be. Also, I commented on your Lidl video that I did find some polishes here in the us, but did not think they were the same line as what you got. I did pick some up to try!
I love the Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal. The Essie Expressie shade and the Zoya shade are my favorites. I think I'm the only person who doesn't like Mint Candy Apple! 😄
Love Dior Junon 💙 I have been wearing Morgan Taylor’s Uncharted Territory for a week and it’s fantastic and goes well with all my autumn apparels 🥰 I wish MT gets more recognition as their sister Gelish, cause their formula and brushes are amaaaazing

The silver is truly unique, with the red looked so Christmassy. Thanks 💕In your experience which brand or topcoat has the shiniest finish with Gel or regular polish?.
Hi Sally! I find Dazzle Dry shiny (if your nails are even and smooth, because it doesn't have a "thick" finish) and OPI Nature Shine is good. I have the say that the cheap polish from Lidl had a very impressive shine too! 🤯 th-cam.com/video/8NX2ukkRgjI/w-d-xo.html
That zoya brown looks a lot like opi suzi says da! For "go with everything" colors I like opi bubble bath, and essie gel couture last nightie. They are super light and classy looking on my fair skin
Hi Jess! It's the new OPI Nature Strong "Let Nature Take It's Quartz". You can see the manicure here: th-cam.com/video/okcJ_etbNC4/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps. PS. The polish wore very well, you can see the removal here: th-cam.com/video/T-qZDpGP1jE/w-d-xo.html
I’m all for the minty green! Blue-gray, mid toned denim blue, and taupes are all “anyday, anywhere” colors for me, along with a nice coral. I personally do NOT like skin toned peachy colors or warm brown tans (those warm browns are horrid with my personal skin tone).
As far as long-lasting shine goes, which brand’s nail system would you choose? I change my nail color weekly, so I just need them to stay shiny for that long, but hate when they get dull!
Hi Jen! I find Dazzle Dry is very shiny and if you wear polish all the time it is the most gentle on the nails. I have not see any yellowing with it (when used exclusively though). The new OPI Nature Strong stays nice and shiny too. I wish they had more colors (they need more nudes and more reds, like a deep red wine etc)
Just found your channel and subscribed. I love seeing the colors in real time, love your commentary and the banter with you and your (husband? friend? partner?). I love nice looking, well-groomed nails, not long, just wish I could get them to my fingertips. They sit a little back from the fingertip so they have to grow a lot to even get there. I've got the worst nails and my mom has exactly the same nails. They peel, they are super thin, never get past my fingertips because of the peeling and breaking. I've tried every strengthener, oil, polish. I take B vitamins, biotin, a multi-vitamin. Have tried no polish and just buffing and oils. I've tried gel polish and powder dip but even the gel removal made me nails even worse and thinner, so had to stop gel polish. The powder dip was AMAZING and lasted like 2+ plus weeks -- but of course destroyed my nails even more then gel polish so I had to stop that. It started to actually HURT my nails when I got it done. I can only get 1-2 days without chipping (usually one day) from any polish due to the peeling and weakness of the nails. The only polish I've heard of that I have not tried yet is Dazzle Dry. Because you think well of it, I may give that a go. At least if I have to do my nails every 2 days, it would be nice if the polish dried super fast. I usually do my nails before bed, so if I could avoid the sheet creases, that would be awesome! :) Thanks for all the work you do on your channel! :)
Could you send me a picture of your nails? thesalonlife[at]gmail[dot]com Maybe I can give you some feedback Ps. I wouldn’t be buffing the nails. One buff can take layers off the nails and it can cause damage that takes months to grow out.
@@TheSalonLife Will do, thank you! (By "buffing" I just meant with a chamois buffer, e.g. a very soft cloth buffer, not a rough or gritty sanding or buffing block thingy. )
