Thank you for posting this. I had the Inner City LP. Love it. I will be playing these tunes in Seattle soon. I transcribed some of them in '77, 78. Played them then. Beautiful music. Wonderful to revisit it. Long live Don.
It was always played by the great late "Mbizo Dyani". It's called "Angolan Cry" from the same titled album which features some of the greatest underrated free jazz musicians i.e Harry Beckett (trumpet), John Tchicai (Tenor Sax, Bass Clarinet), Billy Hart (Drums) and the main man himself on 'Bass'. Great album from "STEEPLECHASE".
