We’re planning to move from bricks and mortar to fulltime vanlife this year, we’ve camped all our married life some 37 years and have always preferred it to living in a house so can’t wait. We live right down on the south coast near Portsmouth and have yet to visit Scotland so plan to do the NC500 very soon, we’ll be purchasing your book nearer the time. Loved that little park up by the river, so peaceful, made us think Scotland off season would be a good idea.

Hey you two! First of all, congratulations on your engagement! We watched your video reminiscing about our trip to Scotland back in November. Happy to see MacGregor's pub on your must visit places in Inverness as we stumbled across it while looking for Leakey's Bookstore. Great little pub with a great vibe.
I'm only halfway through the video, where you're discussing your book and it reminded me a frequent complaint I've been seeing online lately for the Isle of Skye - what is your take on the condition of the roads? I've seen many complaints about the size and frequency of pot holes, how much of a hazard they are (especially after dark). Many people wonder how police/fire/medical get around safely, let alone the rest of the population. Thanks, keep up the great work - and congratulations!
The roads are a struggle all across the country at the moment, however, the highlands are continually working to improve them ☺️ the problem is the paradox between tourism and infrastructure - one can’t exist without the other. At the moment as tourism is increasing, the infrastructure is starting to catch up and soon it won’t be an issue ☺️
Those heaters will blow out if wind is in wrong direction you shouldn't need to keep pressing the igniter like you do turn gas knob to number 2 setting and hold it down and press igniter gently once and 2 seconds later release gas button and away it goes
Awesome to see mare Scotland adventures it’s amazing how many little castles ruins there are dotted about the north east we have been trying to to find them 😂 have found some awesome places just going out and playing the left right or straight on game lol 😂
