A flying House! Best demo I have seen. I have Twin chevy 305's on a 27 Reinell but not that kind of pick up. Like anyone would buy a single after seeing this. I have to say, the "circle the other way", request, like the guy can hear you from forty feet up on the bridge, is optimistic.
This boat sold last weekend. I do have another one with a single engine 460 motor. It's a 1988, very nice condition with a trailer, full bridge enclosure, aft bimini, hard bottom Caribe dinghy with an outboard motor. That one is on South Mountain Yachts.com site.
The 2850 Contessa is a great boat. It has one of the sturdiest bridge structures that is much improved over previous models. And the hull is impressively sturdy and stiff. You just don't want to be assigned the spacious VIP rear cabin. Its best used for storage or unwanted children on your journey. :O)
Can't argue with that! I still can't tell if he heard you, though, or did as instructed. There are so few vids of flying houses. Is there someone below, cooking? I hope whoever bought it gives it a Mario Andretti like this a lot. So, is the other side different?, or are you just Steven Speilbarge? I can watch this over and over. Sound of water is great, too.
Too bad you threw out the OMC parts as they are hard to find and there are a lot of them out there that need parts! With the added HP and torque did you strengthen the transom and stringers? I agree, these are roomy boats with a great layout. Best to ya'.

There were hand signals and we had open cell phone communications.

Those 5.0’s really seem to be doing a Good enough job moving such a heavy boat 👍
I in no it
Actually there were hand signals to go along with the instructions, so he was able to folloow instructions and "circle the other way".
