November 2018,Works like a charm! My PC was restarting when entering Safe mode. YOU can choose option:
"Safe mode with command prompt" then ctrl+alt+delete to restart. Cheers

+2013Electronics&Computers I received the blue screen of death going to safe mode as well. Windows 10 gave me a screen with multiple options what I could do, I am just talented enough to upset my computer that bad ;)

Thank you very much for this video. You saved my time and money. I made a mistake when changed some parameters in the System configuration: Boot - Advanced options - Number of processors and Maximum Memory. Never change these values! After a restart my laptop was dead. Thanks God you helped me to rectify my own mistake.

After installing a ram module only increase maximum memory once and give it a restart it may show 500-600 less MB of ram usable but if you try to increase it it's gonna be this outcome
worked like a charm in 2020 in win7 pro x64...
i couldn't enter safe mode or command prompt so i've used windows 10 installation usb to access repair options and command prompt...
the rest was just retyping your 2nd solution...

Massive massive thanks man you have saved me loads of money and stress :) Did not have the numproc thing there so got an error, but just deleting the truncate memory thing worked like a charm and restored my comp. thought i would lose a lot of precious stuff so can't thank you enough :)

For some people these two commands might not work
bcdedit /deletevalue {default} truncatememory
bcdedit /deletevalue {default} numproc
So you should try
bcdedit /deletevalue truncatememory
bcdedit /deletevalue numproc
Instead, without the {default} hope that helps.

Neither method works. There is still a Blue Screen of Death in safe mode and my computer doesn't have startup repair.
If you are still active: it says
The Specified Entry Identifier is not valid.
The parameter is incorrect
Check the words you typed ! For me it can the same and I retyped then it worked
