- On Friday, the Supreme Court declined to issue any directives to the ECI regarding a plea (made by ADR) demanding the immediate disclosure of authenticated voter turnout records, emphasising the necessity of a “hands-off approach” given that the Lok Sabha elections are currently underway. A vacation bench of justices Dipankar Datta and Satish Chandra Sharma highlighted the potential implications of judicial interference in the electoral process during an active election period, stressing that such actions could disrupt the ongoing procedures.

SC is always available at the tip of fingers for the politicians, but common man has to either wait for generations to get justice or in most cases just forget about it.
So one should blindly trust Hegde coz he was seshan’s lawyer 20yrs ago and was twice removed from the workings of the ECI , but should reject anything the current ECI says even tho they r the one in the trenches ! What BS !
If ECI was doing it voluntarily, they are not bound by any clause or law, why these so called activists are upset? ECI is right in their stand in the Court.

Interrogation is welcome or should be. The presumption is that the interrogation is to improve or to stop any ‘rot’. Intent of any interrogation is difficult to establish with all the vested interests. The problem with Soros and ilk is that it appears that their funding is for a purpose that is not quite for the improvement of India/Bharat. Maybe every group that gets funds from Soros and ilk should disclose this … for a start.

Mr Pai’s outburst shows how irrational one can be. His reasoning is so stupid that one should stop listening to him. Instead of understanding what the petition says and why someone has to reach supreme court is beyond his comprehension.
It was yet another chance for SC prove its integrity to the Constitution of India and Republic of India and to protect the rights of the people of India. Instead it chose to trust the BJP appointed ECI
SC doesn't need to prove anything to anyone .I feel proud of our SC and CJI .
@@user-fw2wn4ib3d No. SC needs to respect peoples views and give judgment based on law. If people approach SC, it must clear the doubts. In ECI case, SC should have asked ECI to held press conference and explain the reasons for delay and huge difference in final percentages. If ECI remains adamant, people are not going to blindly accept the excuses of ECI.
@@prohind agree . SC needs to give judgement based on Law (not based on my or your views) . SC was not convinced for any foul play and unsure about having additional work for ECI . Petitioner needs to come up with strong evidence rather than simply acting as crying babies .
@@user-fw2wn4ib3d Doing press conferences is not additional work. More over doing regular conferences during election was the tradition of ECI that this CEC has broken. This CEC is working in isolation from people. He is least bothered about his responsibilities to the people but he is very prompt when it comes to please Mo D.
@@user-fw2wn4ib3d Up to 6% difference between the poll % at day end and final poll % after 11 days is in itself a strong evidence for doubting the ECI conduct. If not today, I am sure SC will go into the details of ECI's change of conduct at appropriate time and set the CEC's conduct right.
