@@ludakim7557 You think Native Americans came from Korea just because some words sound similar? Do you even know how many different tribes and clans live in North America, they speak in different languages each tribe. They used sign language to communicate with each other because they couldn't understand each other's languages.
@@sherylecharlie7320 Not some words. All basic words have Korean roots. I checked already. Korean tribes were the first tribes after flood. They called themselves “core an”, cause believed, that came from whales ( core in Korean). They spoke same language - corean. With melting glaciers they spread throughout Eurasia, America, some part of India, Africa . Later they were pushed aside by other tribes or mixed. That’s why in Russian, English, Italian and other languages many words with Korean roots, but... meaning of those words has changed for 10 000 years. But in Native American languages meaning of the words hasn’t changed even for 30-40 000 years. Modern Koreans came from different Korean tribes originally from Siberia. They had many different dialects , but still could understand each other. That’s why in Korean language one word can have many variations, because they are taken from different Korean tribes.
My great great great great grandfather is Cherokee Chief Redbird from Kentucky, my Cherokee heritage is special to me. I would like to pray Peace, Love, and Happiness to All who listens to this beautiful hymn and may the Father our Lord God and the Son Jesus touch you and free you from whatever binds you, I pray you find hope, peace, love, prosperity, healing and much more. If you are a sinner please come unto the Lord and ask forgiveness and mean it from your heart and speak it from your mouth it's not too late The Great Father love's you and wants to help you. There's no need to be lost anymore if you give your life to God good things are waiting. He is a friend that is always there helping you along the way. Seek and you shall find, ask and it shall be given, open your heart and let him in, forgiveness is waiting. God Bless you All and I Love You.
I am a 64 yr old white man. But this prayer that came from Chief Yellow Lark, I say every night, and during the course of the day. It has gotten me through some dark times and has helped me see the light of The Great Spirit.
I know what you mean. I’m 53 now and listened to this over 10 years ago and still makes me cry. I’ve lost 8 family members that I talked to on a daily basis and lost them all in less than 2 years. Anyway ya I love the prayer
My Great Grandmother was a half Cherokee, she lived to be 107 years old, I was only a little girl when I used to sit beside her and wonder about the stories she could tell if she could only remember. It's been many year's since I sat next to my granny but I still see that small tiny Indian sitting next to me and I miss her everyday. Oh if she were here the things she could teach me. God bless to all

I have been on a spiritual journey for the past three years. I had to give up everything. All I will say is I have changed and I don't fit in this world anymore... You will never want to hurt another living thing... God bless who ever reads this.
I’m white, but this is my favourite version of Amazing Grace. It makes me reflect on the deaths my ancestors have caused and the true tragedy of it. I hope we can have a peaceful future where we celebrate what we share and there is peace.
Native Americans just like most indigenous people knew the spirit among nature and the universe more than the modern man ever will filled with lust, pride and greed. We must honor nature and love each other because that is how life continues to be fruitful
I am soon to be with a Cherokee woman and I take it seriously !. Gods gift and the very lady I set eyes on but a very moment. I had no idea upon that moment we would fall in deep love Thanks to all and god for this

This version of Amazing Grace is beautifully and soulfully delivered and after all it is everybody's and all versions are valuable and delightful to the soul. If anybody gives the thumbs down to this is not a follower of Jesus Christ or a worshipper of the Living God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth and I am so sure this is pleasing to God because it stands in its beauty and simplicity
A very Happy New year yo you. I missed the Season through poor health but the doctor came to see me today and thank God I am on the mend and hope to go our next week for the 1st time since 16th December that is why I love exploring on TH-cam and listening to music if I am typing my Diaries from my 10 years in Jamaica. God bless you and your music
Oh thank you so kindly for your Good wishes I am in need of them it is amazing when you are low in health how kind people can be. Two church sisters came round to see me today the first time since I saw one of them since 16th December and they rang the doctor and with an hour 2 doctors came and saw me. I am on the mend thank God but I never wanted to trouble anybody but 2 friends did! Life is so good and now you your Greetings cheered my heart too. I shall soon be back typing up my Diaries from my ten years living in Jamaica from 1999 to 2009 when I returned to England. God Bless you and yours and I love your music
Bless you too friendship makes the world go round and spreading LOVE across the world is a good thing because God is LOVE and His creation needs it more now than ever with so many hellbent on destroying this world which was perfect until man started the destruction because of Greed and Envy and pure wickedness in some of them, indeed those who destroy for destruction sake are children of the Evil one. Bless you and your lovely music and you and your family I am sadly estranged from 90% of mine 1 out of 4 children loves me and 1 out of 5 grandchildren would love to know me and my mother still rejects me the same as when I was a child 70 years ago, sadly my father died Dec 1973 and my mother still lives at age 96 soon 97. One brother died while I was in Jamaica and one brother loves me and the baby brother could barely talk to me at our last living Uncle's funeral last April 29th. I leave them all in God's hands and I pray for them because they will never understand me in this world and I do pray that they will be in the next one with me and that they will be changed and have a greater understanding than they do now. I forgive everybody who has ever hurt me but some of them do not understand Forgiveness or Love and the only Spirit they show is critical and that is what I have learned to accept and live with. I want nothing to do with HATRED or Revenge of bitterness. I only understand LOVE and kindness and generosity of spirit and fulfilling God's Will for my life. Be blessed now and forever dear friend with prayers
Nobody talks about it, but I heard way back in the history of the amazing American Indian our living God also traveled and visited with them all, when HE!! Walked the Earth 🌎 many Blessings to these Amazing People.🙏🏻
So much power in this song and other native American music. When I listen to all Nations tribal music and my Alaskan native music , it grounds me , and I feel closer and as one with creator and mother earth.
This is the most beautiful song I've ever heard. Some of my ancestors are Cherokee Native American & it an honor . I wish we could still live as they did with freedom of land, animals respected, love for one another. I actually felt this song in my gut.
The Native American people, they can teach us to Love Mother Earth and to learn us that we are all Brothers and Sisters of this beautifull Planet Earth...
If the Cherokees had a national anthem, it is said that it would be Amazing Grace. This version sung in Cherokee by Walela is dear to my heart. The prayer words are from Chief Yellow Lark. Prayer to the Great Spirit Oh Great Spirit Whose voice I hear in the winds And whose breath gives life to all the world, hear me. I am a man before You, One of Your many children. I am small and weak. I need Your strength and wisdom. Let me walk in beauty And make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset. Make my hands respect the things You have made, My ears sharp to hear Your voice. Make me wise, So that I may know the things You have taught my people, The lesson You have hidden in every leaf and rock. I seek strength not to be superior to my brothers, But to be able to fight my greatest enemy - myself. Make me ever ready to come to You with clean hands and straight eyes, So when life fades as a fading sunset My spirit may come to You without shame. Chief Yellow Lark [1887] Lakota Indian Missionary and Medicine Man
1charlastar .. This song was written by a slaver... a man who traded slaves.. He became enlightened, turned his life around, and wrote this very heart rending song...Thus, "I once was lost, but now I'm found..." It certainly applies to the Native Americans and "their" bondage and the atrocities committed against them. This version is soul-searching.. America must look to the indigenous peoples and descendants of slaves which this country needs to be truly healed.. Alas, many are still "blind."
Angee Corea the person who wrote it was John Newton, as the library of congress states but the melody was sung by the slaves on the ship to America, it is where he found the inspiration to write the lyrics.
"Amazing Grace" is a Christian hymn published in 1779, with words written by the English poet and Anglican clergyman John Newton (1725-1807). Newton wrote the words from personal experience. He grew up without any particular religious conviction, but his life's path was formed by a variety of twists and coincidences that were often put into motion by his recalcitrant insubordination. He was pressed (conscripted) into service in the Royal Navy, and after leaving the service, he became involved in the Atlantic slave trade. In 1748, a violent storm battered his vessel off the coast of County Donegal, Ireland, so severely that he called out to God for mercy, a moment that marked his spiritual conversion. He continued his slave trading career until 1754 or 1755, when he ended his seafaring altogether and began studying Christian theology.
Amazing Grace... What a beautiful, poignant song...made even more poignant here accompanied by traditional Native American music... the drums, the drums; they touch your soul, and remind you of the injustices suffered by these original peoples; those who owned this great land.. The slaves who were brought here under gruelling conditions: The Middle Passage; no release for those who survived that horrible, inhumane voyage ... and continued into bondage... A great rendition here. The Native Americans: their prophecies not to be dismissed... This land, America, which needs to be renewed in a spiritual way; in order that those who were persecuted may rest....and America would become in tune with Mother Earth... and the Great Spirit, once again... September, 2016.

God is a wonderful Father to all people, native people know Him , my Mom Lizzette , even though she could not read or write , knew how to pray to Jersus, in our Okanagan language.
AMEN my sister. All nature speaks of Him, our wonderful creator. So no matter where we are born, if we open our hearts in love and forgiveness we will know that there is a God and His name is Jesus. Oh, I can't wait to go home to be with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This has been a long and painful journey for me and I just long to be reunited with my Lord.
This is one of my favorite videos. I play it when i need peace. Today when I went to play it, there was a warning message that said youtube customers "have marked this video as inappropriate and offensive." ARE YOU KIDDING ME? The words of this prayer are the epitome of how God wants us to live our lives. To put it to the music of Amazing Grace is genius and powerful. I cry when I see this video because of the strength of it's message. Now I cry for what our world has become to label this as offensive.
Michael Gaynor Dear Michael. I just found out two years ago my Grandmother Bigelow on my Dad's side of the family was full blooded Indian. she had a picture of her wrapped in an. There is but one God--one Great Spirit--one Creator of All--regardless of what you call IT (there are many paths to the summit, but just one peak) Discovering that truth is the greatest mystery and joy this world has to offer! "May you walk in the peace of our Maker"
Very nice to meet our relatives here. I'm Korean and christian, and the age of fifties like you. I'm a little bit older than you. I believe all Koreans feel as if they can understand the meaning of lyrics of this song. I mean lyrics are very much similar to Korean language, and some words and phrases are the same as Korean now a days. The english translation of the lyrics seems to be totally wrong. It's a kind of requiem, epic and chronicles. It describes the origin of your people, how they were, and what was their hope roughly about 1,200 years ago. (in 5 ~ 10th centuries, more than 10 million people moved to America, and have left lots of remains artifacts on their trail. and it includes language and customs too.) . The lyrics of this song are actually describing more specific things than the simple general thing like "voice I hear in the wind". "Nack-rang" is a name of specific place of our ancestor's land in northern part of Korean peninsula, where Cherokee Indian's ancestor had lived. "Nanli" means a kind of fights or war. And "Nanli sori" means a loud sound of war fighting. And many other expressions and names of this song have appeared in our history book, and some are currently used in modern Korean society. Sadly, number of American Indian had been reduced so quickly, and some seemed be absorbed by western culture. But you still have huge number of your family in Far East Asia and South America. (South American native people have much more (more than thousand) similar or same words, expressions exactly the same as modern Korean language. So I can dare to say "please have a strong pride of yourselves and your culture." We will be at your side forever, my brothers and sisters. Like K-wave (K-pop, K-food, K-drama, K-movie, K-beauty, etc) is extending worldwide and becoming one of the main stream and leader of world trends, American Indian (Cherokee, Hopi(means Tiger skin), etc) culture shall be prosperous greatly soon. Go Go Cherokee !!!! Go Go Hopi !!!!
If your God exists, on the Day of Judgment you Pay for all your crimes, still today steal from you The tiny Indian territory and poison the water in Exploit shale gas that does not belong to you Tos or later you will pay all your crimes, none Please do not wash away your crimes
I gave questioned, agonized and even been angry, not once but three times, why God made me live. I now have my answer...to find this video and read these words. The message gives me hope and a new meaning to my life. Thank you for this video seems so very little but it's all I have. Thank you.
✨No matter what age you are, YOU are SPECIAL. What your circumstances might be, YOU are SPECIAL. YOU have something unique to offer, because of who YOU are. No matter who YOU are or what YOU've done, YOU are special because God made YOU...✨ BLESSINGS of ℒℴνℯ❤️ før➷ᵧₒᵤ
The message the song has is just for you. It says that U-ne-la-nv-hi (God's) u-we-tsi (son, Jesús Christ) I-ga-gu-yv-he-i (paid it all) (the sin debt on the cross) and hna-quo (then) tso-sv (to heaven) wi-u-lo-se (he went) because i-ga-gu-yv-ho-nv (he paid it all for us). He wants you to receive him as Lord of your life, just like many tsa-la-gi (Cherokee) have done. I'm one of those. Blessing, my friend.
Grey Wolf..the actor spent some quality time with me once....such wisdom the native American Indians have. We who are not as such should be honored to hear any wisdom the to choose to share. This is their land, they have studied it and humanity quietly. In more earnest..learning from it and the the Great One in the sky.
I do not know if I have any Native American Lineage or not, but this was beautifully done. Amazing Grace has been my favorite hymn for several years, I am now 87. I believe this prayer transcends all time, it is timeless!!!

Amazing Grace indeed. So emotional from an oppressed nation.
If the Cherokees had a national anthem, it is said that it would be Amazing Grace. This version sung in Cherokee by Walela is dear to my heart.
The prayer words are from Chief Yellow Lark.
Prayer to the Great Spirit
Oh Great Spirit Whose voice I hear in the winds
And whose breath gives life to all the world, hear me.
I am a man before You,
One of Your many children.
I am small and weak.
I need Your strength and wisdom.
Let me walk in beauty
And make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset.
Make my hands respect the things You have made,
My ears sharp to hear Your voice.
Make me wise,
So that I may know the things You have taught my people,
The lesson You have hidden in every leaf and rock.
I seek strength not to be superior to my brothers,
But to be able to fight my greatest enemy - myself.
Make me ever ready to come to You with clean hands and straight eyes,
So when life fades as a fading sunset
My spirit may come to You without shame.
Chief Yellow Lark [1887]

This song was written by a slaver... a man who traded slaves.. He became enlightened, turned his life around, and wrote this very heart rending song...Thus, "I once was lost, but now I'm found..." It certainly applies to the Native Americans and "their" bondage and the atrocities committed against them. This version is soul-searching.. America must look to the indigenous peoples and descendants of slaves which this country needs to be truly healed..
Alas, many are still "blind."
It applies to all of humanity. Only the shed blood of Christ can free us from the bondage into which all of mankind was born.
Angee Corea the person who wrote it was John Newton, as the library of congress states but the melody was sung by the slaves on the ship to America, it is where he found the inspiration to write the lyrics.
1charlastar Thank you for blessing all of humankind with this poem!
"Amazing Grace" is a Christian hymn published in 1779, with words written by the English poet and Anglican clergyman John Newton (1725-1807).
Newton wrote the words from personal experience. He grew up without
any particular religious conviction, but his life's path was formed by a
variety of twists and coincidences that were often put into motion by
his recalcitrant insubordination.
Strong words, thank you, God bless you.

I will Praise You Father UNIVERSE in Every Breathe , You Provide This Being Of Mine 😋☝️🦅🦋👁

QUE MAL GOSTO!CREEEEEEEEEEDO!
Iam cherokee to and very proud also.
Hello
Very nice to meet our relatives here.
I'm Korean and christian, and the age of fifties like you.
I'm a little bit older than you.
I believe all Koreans feel as if they can understand the meaning of lyrics of this song.
I mean lyrics are very much similar to Korean language, and some words and phrases are the same as Korean now a days.
The english translation of the lyrics seems to be totally wrong.
It's a kind of requiem, epic and chronicles.
It describes the origin of your people, how they were, and what was their hope roughly about 1,200 years ago.
(in 5 ~ 10th centuries, more than 10 million people moved to America, and have left lots of remains artifacts on their trail.
and it includes language and customs too.)
.
So I can dare to say "please have a strong pride of yourselves and your culture."
We will be at your side forever, my brothers and sisters.
Like K-wave (K-pop, K-food, K-drama, K-movie, K-beauty, etc) is extending worldwide and becoming one of the main stream and leader of world trends,
American Indian (Cherokee, Hopi(means Tiger skin), etc) culture shall be prosperous greatly soon.
Go Go Cherokee !!!!
Go Go Hopi !!!!
Very beautiful dear Ine♥
Beautiful, we are all God's children finding our way to the Shepard and go through that narrow gate.
If your God exists, on the Day of Judgment you
Pay for all your crimes, still today steal from you
The tiny Indian territory and poison the water in
Exploit shale gas that does not belong to you
Tos or later you will pay all your crimes, none
Please do not wash away your crimes
I have some cherokee blood in me and so very proud of that. I love the cherokee. ❤❤❤❤❤🎉

Ine RP Braat Thank you. This video restores my heart and soul, thank you.
Blessing, my friend.
only, the best, for
all, us , sinners!!#
Grey Wolf..the actor spent some quality time with me once....such wisdom the native American Indians have. We who are not as such should be honored to hear any wisdom the to choose to share. This is their land, they have studied it and humanity quietly. In more earnest..learning from it and the the Great One in the sky.
I have just been diagnosed with Early stage colon cancer and I say pray 4times a day
