Great Job. Congratulations on your new Ricoma. Just some quick advise. Caps should always be done at a lower speed. It will help insure registration and help avoid breaking needles at high speed. Your input about the 80/12 needles was great as I've had issues with 3D puff cutting away as clean as I would like. Solvy™ is a water soluble film used as an embroidery topping on high-pile fabrics. When used as a topping on knits, terry cloth, fleece and other textured fabrics, Solvy™ creates a smooth embroidery surface to give clearer embroidery. Stitches won't sink into the fabric, giving a crisp definition and detail to your work. Like anything else there are good brands and some cheap brands. figure what works best for you and do your thing. Welcome to the market place.

Thank you! I have been running my hats closer to 500-600 since this video, and I also started using a firmer puff and it's done wonders to my designs. I guess the stuff on Amazon isn't so great, or I haven't found the right stuff. The Madeira Body Builder one is so much better imo for 3D work. Can't wait to continue to explore and learn more!
