And a Happy New Year to you too Andy, who says I follow this channel? ; ), and thank you so much for the shout out n kind words as well. That microphone seems very sensitive, that Smiths came down with a k-thud!
Shine, as a teenager is a great pick. TG, one of the funkadelikist bands ever! Cheeky back cover! Some killer Floyd in your collection, cheers 👍 (1k subs, no problem)
Happy New Year - great picks especially the 7” selection including some good punary.! Lana Del Rey ❤ would love to be at that dinner party too.. 😢 agree with your kind words about Denny.. RIP Throbbing Gristle shiz I forgot about them I had that album 🤟🏻I’ve listened an owned lots of Manc bands never heard of Diagram Brothers 😮never seen A Nice Pair in such good nick..😮
Happy new year Andy, I appreciate the mention and kind words, your get to 1k subs this year keep at it and you'll get there, everyone thinks its a race but its really a marathon, all the best 👍
Hi Andy, I've only just come across your channel and I'm pleased to get you one small step closer to 1000 subs. You chose some brilliant records. Throbbing Gristle, jazz/funk as you've never heard it before 😂 Cheers Mike
Many thanks for the sub....
The Shine So Hard Live EP & Short Film caught Echo & The Bunnymen at their best in the Crocodiles 🐊 / Heaven Up Here period. Crowd is fanatical & Ian never sounded better " I said hey what you doing today ? , I'm going to do it tomorrow ! "
They were deep into their "camo" period, the whole stage decked out in camouflage. The first 3 albums, Crocodiles, Heaven up Here and Porcupine they've never bettered. I've just finished reading the second of two autobiographies by Will Sergeant... The first Bunnyman covers his life from around 4 years old to just after the Bunnymen form, The second, Echoes starts just as Pete De Freitas joins and they do their first tour of the US and Australia... Highly recommended. I listened to both on Audible and will narrates both books
I’ve never given Lana Del Rey a proper listen. She performed on Saturday Night Live years ago and it was quite bad. I also had to go with the 60’s.
