Its hilarious how Slot has managed to create more of a tactical identity in 3 months, which included Euros and Copa America times, than Ten Hag has in his 3rd season. If you watched the game with no context you'd think Slot has been there for 3 years and Ten Hag just started this summer.

    • @stefanjrgensen6842
      @stefanjrgensen6842 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +12

well to be fair, Slot inherited a team that was already playing a similar style of football to what he wants to play where as Ten Hag inherited a mish-mash team from different managers, so he would basically need close to a full replacement of the team to play close to what he want, and we all know he'll get fired b4 that eventho its prolly best, if he doesnt so that we can get to see a proper Ten Hag similar to the Ajax team, and not a Van Gaal-mourinho-solkjær team and then there's also the fact that you wont undo over a decade of mismangement with just a couple of summer transfer windows, after all it took Arteta around 5 years to build a competative Arsenal side during which the Arsenal fans wanted him fired multiple times

Now into his 3rd season he has made enough signings for it to be called his team and his ELEVEN. And after making his team not being able to consistently show his identity of being the fastest transition football is a massive problem and that's just the coaching issue. They got to live at least half their lives (most of them more than half) supporting a club that gave them seasonal memories & virtually no disappointment, the only living people who can claim the same are Chelsea, soon to be Man City, and old Liverpool fans.
As a Chelsea fan myself, no matter what happens with us in the immediate or distant future I consider myself blessed. I got to live through what very well could be the greatest era in my club's history (between 2004-2012) as a teenager, it doesn't get more lucky than that.

Modric did the running and later Valverde.
Playing a player out of position or in a role that doesn't fit him and we say he is crap.
It is Pogba all over again.
Jose had to change to 3 at the back to accommodate Pogba.

We need to pay an actual 4 3 3.
Bruno will have to sit deeper or go wide but our manager is too dumb to see that.
Also, with 3 center backs with one being a stopper who pushes into midfield, Casemiro might not be isolated.

You expected to start this season amazingly and aim for the top 4 but your now realising that may not be the case, we are only 3 games in remember but imo ETH is a problem because United do genuinely have some quality players

Ten Hag's arrogance and obvious poor man mangement makes me think of Mourinho. Except Mourinho won things and was much younger than him. Ten Hag made it to Champions League semifinals with Ajax. Mourinho won it with Porto. He's not some up-and-coming young manager. He's around the same age as Guardiola, Klopp and someone like Unai Emery.
Ten Hag has already got so many players and financial backing from the club. You need to start showing something at this point. He now has 5 players from his Ajax team at the club.
Not to mention the biggest flop signing is basically Ten Hag's fault. Antony was his man!
Why didnt United dump Casemiro to Saudi Arabia when they had the chance?! Zirkzee isnt a striker... That's news to me.

Last season during his breakout season with Bologna, he told then manager Thiago Motta that we wasn’t equipped to play as the lone number 9 but Motta told Zirkzee he had faith in him.
One good season later and Zirkzee has wound up at Man United playing with the English media watching him, who notoriously fail to do their due diligence/research into foreign players, and will now make judgments of him based on the assumption that he’s a true number 9.

*the pivot with Mainoo doesn't work since Mainoo always bombs forward when casemiro has the ball. This was the pressing trigger for Liverpool yesterday, get united to put the ball into midfield and shut the option backwards and fight for the ball that's coming forward.
