      MIDDLE EASTERN FRAG HOUSES are embarrassing ALL of the expensive designer frag and expensive NICHE frag houses!!
      For decades we have been ✦𝐑𝐀𝐏𝐄𝐃✦ in the wallet by the fragrance industry who keep charging EXORBITANT prices!!....
      We have been paying *($150- $350)* 𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄 for 3 oz of fragrance!! That's just 𝐒𝐈𝐗 𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐎𝐍𝐒 of liquid! (if converted to gallons thats approximately •$7,000• per gallon to •$15,000• per gallon of fragrance manufactured by the frag houses).
      THAT'S 𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐓 OF DAMN MONEY FOR 𝐒𝐈𝐗 𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐎𝐍𝐒 or ONE GALLON of ANYTHING.... especially a fragrance!!!
      and we "think" that the high cost of designer frags ALWAYS equals QUALITY🤔
      The high cost of frags translates into nothing but ✦GREED✦
      AS FRAG collectors we get all excited about the presentation because of a heavy glass bottle and a decorated cardboard box🤔
      A heavy, glass frag bottle costs *•$5•* to manufacture on the 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇 𝐄𝐍𝐃! ....and a nice decorative cardboard frag box costs no more than $3 to manufacture!!
      The total cost of a NICE frag presentation cost frag houses $8 𝐦𝐚𝐱!!
      Lattafa, for example, *•matches•* and even SURPASSES the designer frag houses in presentation and ✦EASILY✦ matches the quality, longevity and complexity of fragrance that the designer frag houses have!
      ...and LATTAFA does this all for •$20-$50• for 3 oz of juice!! (if converted to gallons that's approximately $900 per gallon to $2,200 per gallon of fragrance manufactured by LATTAFA) yes its still ALOT of money per gallon BUT 𝐅𝐀𝐑 𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒 than the designer frag houses!
      Lattafa and other MIDDLE EASTERN frag houses are proving that a frag house can make a *➖HUGE➖* profit selling quality scents with GREAT presentations *WITHOUT* "raping" the consumer with escalated prices!
      Anyway I'm done with my ranting🤣

    Hey buddy! Interesting sounding scent! I’m trying to get my hands on some Ragbha Wood Intense right now, but considering how much I love Qaed Al Fursan (wore it to the office today), this one is definitely on my list.
    I received my bottle of 24 Carat Pure Gold today (24 Carat White Gold arrived last week) and you asked me to tell you what I thought. I LOVE the White….very nice. The Pure, I’m on the fence with. It has some note similar to a note in Wajood I think, at least to my novice nose and I don’t love it. I can’t yet name the slightly offensive note as I’m a new collector. Both presentations are stellar and look great in my collection, so no regrets!
    I’m hoping you pick up both fragrances and review them!
    Thanks for another great review!

    Hey Man, you finally got it :) this one is probably my favorite out of this line. Thank you for directing me towards Dagger! I thought it was some kind of pipe /sheesha for sheik lol, nice one! Most i get from it is creamy pineapple, maybe even a little candied. Don't get that much of fresh citrus accords. I find it quite similar to Shaheen Gold which is also pineapple bomb but seems to be a bit lighter and more aromatic. Both are really nice. Good job again! If you can put your hands on Swiss Arabian pure instinct and primal code i also recommend. Reasonable range from them you be probably 35-40 Usd, so the same as for the Lataffa pride collection.

    • @PostCologne
      @PostCologne  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks Leszek! Yeah I really had to dig to find that jambiya dagger reference.
      You are right very similar pineapple cream to shaheen gold. Citrus I get is up top and doesn't last long, pineapple cream is the star.
      Appreciate the recos, I was looking at primal code over the weekend and have it bookmarked.

    • @leszekro9522
      @leszekro9522 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@PostCologne primal code is like 90% Armani stronger with you from heart to base notes but nicer/fresher minty-fruity opening and extremely long lasting. For me it is like 4-6h projection and 12h+ longetivy. Performance more like intensely, i actually prefer it over SWY for better opening and quality is same, very high. Pure Instinct is more in vein of Lacoste Blanc / DG the One , very very nice and easy to wear. Can't pinpoint what it really tries to copy. Great performance, but not as beastly as code. Like both, probably instinct even more as SWY is not among my favorite DNAs

    • @PostCologne
      @PostCologne  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@leszekro9522 I've heard that about code. I like the swy DNA, so it definitely got my attention. That performance has me sold, moving that up the list for the next haul. Thanks Leszek, appreciate the details 👍

    • @leszekro9522
      @leszekro9522 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@PostCologne no problem, i highly appreciate your reviews, happy i could help. Code is imo closest to original swy, not flankers - freeze, intensely or absolutely. Waiting for another fragrance review then 😂

    Yep, fresher version of Al Fursan with more "zing" is what I got too. It's a shame this might get put aside as another Aventus clone, I find it quite different, it doesn't have that birch or currant vibe. It does push off surprisingly quite a lot from me, so maybe not office safe. But springtime run outside, definitely.

    In middle East they prefer Ittr natural oil or burning oud chips. Not alcohol based diluted synthetic chemicals(french perfumes). So the french perfumes are not of high quality, all that one gets is good smelling chemicals mixed in alcohol. It applies to even some high end perfumes from designers as well, which sell in the magnitude of 100s of $.

    • @jdaniels4898
      @jdaniels4898 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's not only french perfumes using aromachemicals, to be fair. Middle-eeastern houses, that make spray perfumes use them, too. Amouage, Arabian Oud, Al Haramain, Ajmal, Abdul Samad Al Qurashi and others. Everyone use aromachemicals to some degree. Unless it is an oil, it surely will have aromachemicals in it. And even then, i believe it depends on the grade, cheaper ones may be using some chemicals too

    I bought this parfume, expecting a nice fresh pineapple with some sweetness as the base. The sweetness is there kinda. But the this isnt a fresh pineapple, but instead a sour pineapple almost fermented pineapple. It's like you open a can of pineapple and let it sits a few days opened. That kind of sour this pineapple has, like it's gone bad.
