He does not. They should create a new batting title for what he did and name it after him. However, you should not be MVP playing one side of the game.

That just shows how much the sport of baseball had been declining, but it was Ohtani who gave them the value of being called his “rivals.” Today, *LeBron* and *Mahomes* tweeted about Ohtani’s accomplishments because he’s undeniably the *“face of baseball.”⚾️🦄*

Stop it. Harper been putting up great numbers since day one. Ohtani has been in the league for seven years and has only a few good seasons. Yes he's a great player but he didn't shine no light on Harper. Y'all just didn't recognize Harper's greatness because y'all thought he was an arrogant kid until he got on the Phillies
Ohtani made people around the world (who never knew baseball nor care about baseball) watch baseball with excitement and enthusiasm lol. No other player in MLB has that effect. He’s the Michael Jordan of baseball. He’s taken baseball to a whole new levels and made it interesting to not just baseball fans but non baseball fans. That’s the crazy thing about it. He’s a global phenomenon. Don’t know if we’ll ever see someone like him again.

He does not. He left the Nationals in Free Agency and signed a massive extension with the Phillies in March of 2019. The Nationals then proceeded to win the World Series that year.

大谷は守備をしないんじゃない。 オルティスなどの過去のfull-time DHは守備は出来るけどやらなかった選手。
大谷は手術のリハビリで投げられないから打撃だけのDHとして出場してるが、試合前には投球練習もやってる。
来年は投手出場し肩を休める日にもDHで出る。 試合前の練習で何をしてるか見てないのか？
守備に就けるけどやらなかった過去のDHと、守備に就きたくてもリハビリで就けない大谷は違う。
他の選手なら手術した翌年は試合に出ないで休んでるが大谷は、ほぼ休みなしで試合に出てる。
試合だけじゃなくMLBにもたらす観客動員、広告収入、社会的影響それらも含めてのMVPを選ぶべきではないか。
