Thanks for the review. I purchased this wig and it is a great unit. Hair is very good quality and very soft. Blow dried and straightened it and it looks very natural. The wig clips are definitely a problem but I am happy they provided extra clips. Wonderful hair company if you want very natural looking hair

Hi Seun, do you think you can do this style with no leave out and replacing the leave out with your crochet method? I just read the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences article (it just came out) linking relaxers (and also permanent color) to breast cancer and uterine fibroids, things black women suffer from disproportionately. I think this is the last piece of info driving my decision to stop relaxers.
But I want to be a straight hair natural with longer hair. So...maybe your upart sew in with crochet is the answer for the next year or so while my natural hair grows out ?! Maybe the crochet could be done with kanakelon hair?? But the wig sew in part looks great.
Also, given your science background, do you have any thoughts on relaxer risks? I can't help wonder if my 20 years of relaxers contributes to my fibroids...

You can definitely do the crochet method! It works well with kinky hair! Ohh, that is something you could definitely try- with the kanekalon hair! I never thought of that, but it could work well. Hmm, I haven't done much research into the health risks of relaxers.I am really sorry to hear that. I definitely understand your decision.

Is this Unit a middle part or side part? I want the flexibility of middle and side part. Do you think a middle part would be able to do that for me? I like deep side parts too! I just don't want to shift the middle part & make it look uneven... idk

Probably yaki straight! I would be more prone to breakage, but nothing extreme, if you are taking care of it

When you're ready to take it out how do you cut the thread without cutting your own braids, especially in the back?

And please dont give me the protective style BS. black women dont need protective styles to have healthy hair. and your hair is super long so i doubt youre trying to grow it longer. Black women are addicted to fake hair. I liberated myself in July and LOVE being able to shower with guys, exercise and LIVE, without worrying.
