Because people have asked: The name of the theme in the thumbnail/intro is in the video description. It isn’t available anymore. Also, the reason I left out the themes’ music is because I don’t want TH-cam to hit me with copyright claims and demonetize my videos. Also also, the easiest ways to find these themes is to either search for them in the add-ons section of the PS Store on your PS4 console or to just google the name of the themes on a browser and then download them from the official PS4 website to your console. I love themes that change the icons too. The battlefield 1 theme did it well and so does the dark souls 3 one.
Legacy Dynamic Theme is the best. For anyone who doesn't know what that is, it's a PS2 styled theme. Has the classic start up noise and everything. (It's one of the runner ups on this list)

been using persona 5 protagonist theme for a year and a half, still love with it both the visual and the music are both so relaxing, doubt i'll change it anytime soon
I have been using the same theme as well but for about 6 months. In my opinion, his #1 on the list is better and you should definitely give it a try, especially for its music.
Rectangular is so good
The legacy theme is my top favorite. Not because of how it looks good but the nostalgic feeling of it just gives me the goosebumps

I will definitely check these out. I do like the dynamic themes for the PS4 and think it’s yet another area where Xbox screwed up this gen. The one criticism I have is the lack of “a try before you buy” set up as some themes are costly and then very disappointing.
Derek Newton Thanks for watching. I completely agree with the try before you buy issue. Some do have quick video demos in the store, which kind of help and I feel like there are more now with those demos than before (probably due to complaints), but yeah it’s really annoying, especially when some are up to $5. The lack of theme demos is one of the main reasons I do these videos so I can at the very least show off some of the ones I feel are more worth the money. There are a lot of crappy ones in the store and you can’t tell until you waste the cash on them.

If you enjoy the Rez theme, I highly recommend getting the Tetris Effect Yours Forever theme. The two games are made by the same dev and their themes are both infused with calm, cool, artistic personality. Alternatively if you don't want to spend the 3 bucks on this theme, there's the Tetris Effect Metamorphosis theme for free. Also a fantastic theme but it's much more higher to the point where I just go back to Yours Forever.
You can't lie tropical skeletons dancing is the most QUALITY theme

It's called Tropical Skeleton Dance but if you search it up in ps store it won't show up so you have to go to themes, sort by a-z, and then go down and find it by using alphabetical order. It takes some work but is well worth it this theme is superior over all others
I love the Death of a Planet 4K. The nice music, mixed with the pulsing laser slamming into an unknown planet. It's beautiful.

All of you who might have played Persona 5, buy Perosna 5 Royal Steel book edition. Not only do you get the addition of playing the game with the DLCs and a new story line, you only will be able to get 1 Persona 5 Royal theme, and 11 Persona 5 characters Themes. THATS NOT IT, you will also get 3 more themes if you complete the platinum trophy, just make sure you check your email every so often.
My favorite has to be "Heart of Sakura". It's so damn calming and not at all annoying like the default ps theme
I checked out Heart of Sakura theme. It is definitely a super chill theme. I HIGHLY recommend Hanami (Cherry Blossom Festival) dynamic theme to you, too. It has been my theme for years.
My favorite one is Dark Souls 3 Only Embers Remain Dynamic theme
Currently I have one of the newer themes as my background now, it’s now my favorite one too and because of that it has a chill background music and it has sea animals and angles along with stars it’s some but if you want to check it out search up “ Tetris effect metamorphosis dynamic theme” honestly it’s really dope so I recommend it

If you guys haven't yet, you need to check out the "Fractured world dynamic theme" by truant pixel. Looks amazing especially on a 4k tv. Plus the sound effects are calming and trippy

I HIGHLY recommend Hanami (Cherry Blossom Festival) dynamic theme for chill dynamics. It changes based on time of day. Movement is extensive. Sounds are excellent. There is a limit to how much the dynamic themes can do. Hanami makes the most of what the system allows it to do. The Settings, loading, and other screens are a different color as well.
Strong honorable mention to 3D Retaliation: Raid Dynamic Theme for intriguing action.
Cabin on the Lake Theme and Epic Bay Panorama are amazingly chill. 1 Dynamic Forest Theme is also relaxing.
My favorite ps4 themes are Firewatch and Transistor. When i get bored of one i switch to the other.

Who else wonderd how many games does he have installed or how much he has like damm hella folders for each genre of games this dude has a folder for fighting,shooter,stoy,horror,etc its almost like u name a game just kno he has it

I like the Pacman championship edition 2 theme because 1. the background is cool and 2. it makes the Pacman sounds when you flip through stuff and when you click on something 🥰
Current theme is the Countdown to Launch theme,the music is wonderful to hear.

I highly recommend any of the beautiful Persona 5 themes, especially if your an anime fan.

Nah nothing can beat tropical skeleton background
I do have to admit REZ infinites theme is one of my common defaults, tho my current use and fave is Slime rancher's dynamic theme similar to the firewatch one but with the cute adorable slimes.
Slime rancher theme is sooo Chil. Its in my opinion one of the best. Especially when its in the night.

mateus alves try searching for it on the website version of the PS Store or google “(name of theme) PlayStation store”. That usually works better. The search function in the console’s PS Store is garbage.
@@MinorityGamerReport thanks so much, but for example, I tranfered the Persona 5 theme, that is supposedly free, but then it has a lock and makes me buy the game. This happened with the dark souls theme... Do I nedd to purchase the game to have the theme?
mateus alves you shouldn’t need the games for those two, but the availability of these themes differs by the region you live in as well. If my memory serves me right tho, the Persona 5 themes aren’t free
