Girl, your experiences of dealing with prejudice as a light skin person are valid.
But that's not colorism. Colorism, like racism, goes one way. White ppl may be treated badly for being white but its not racism.
Colorism, like racism, is a structure of power that makes it's easier to be lighter/non-black/white.
Knowing ppl like/desire you because you're "redbone" is recognizing your access to desirability/power/privelege.
Light skin folks are not disempowered by every social institution for being lightskin. You may get jokes thrown at you from brown skinned folks but that's where it ends. You're not losing jobs, or being criminalized more, or told you're unattractive because you're lightskin. You're passing the paper bag test in every aspect of life except your interactions with people less privileged than you.

But that's still not colorism cause the individual people doing it do not have structural or institutional power backing up their actions (i.e. a healthcare system that would take brown-skinned injuries more seriously even if they were in the wrong)
