As a 56 year old with lots of life experience, i can tell you all that each and every one of us will have an emergency or hardship at some point. It WILL happen. Our emergency fund has kept us afloat many times. You are doing a phenomenal job at saving!

Yes ❤ I’m so hyped to hear about your daughter’s savings! I haven’t heard many people talk about it. I opened my son a custodial account (just in case he didn’t want to go to college) but now with the rule change ima look into it. I plan to open him a Roth IRA eventually as well. The other accounts I’ve never heard of but very curious! Great video ❤
I just looked up the UGMA and it’s the same as a custodial account just different names ❤ I’m going to consider the 529 plan because I do have a niece and nephew that can use it if my son doesn’t consider college (just learned you can transfer it) thanks for giving me something to think about!

Get paid so much and spend so little, is the obvious answer. 😂😂
Say if you can save $1200 a year with your normal job, but you work 40 hours a week, now get a part time job that's an extra 20 hours, save 100% of the income from that job it can boost your savings per year 10-20x.
Alternatively you could do some kind of course in that same 20 hours a week to get you a better job or a higher position and that could also do the same.
I think the hardest thing people have is keeping your lifestyle the same while you income increases.
@@LawrenceTimme everyone doesn’t have family help to keep their kids to work extra jobs. As i said, I have minimal debt and I make VERY good money. I am not an over spender. I’m just trying to learn from her

You also may need 6 to 12 months to show as a reserve when you purchase a home.
Definitely something to be proud of. However, please dont take the the wrong way but someone who makes six figures a year without having to pay for rent or mortgage, that amount of savings should be easily attainable.
With my spending habit its not easily attainable lol. I like to spend and experience life.

What a savings 😮❤ just interested how much is your monthly income ? In my country 38K is much more than average yearly salary for a single mom ... so wouldnt be even possible to save that money unless you earn over 70K $
My monthly income varies. But i make 80-110k yearly
