I have been traveling full-time for 5 months across Southeast Asia, and I totally get you on accommodation! I've blown by budget for that exact reason. Everyone has a different standard of cleanliness for sure. I have experienced it several times where a hotel is ranked high for cleanliness and then I get there and it's so disappointing. I learned the hard way. So these days, I only book for a night until I see the place in person. It has backfired sometimes when a place I like gets sold out. But I would rather take that risk than be stuck somewhere uncomfortable. I realized finding hotels may be my least favorite thing about travel, especially when you're on a budget and moving from place to place.

Just some your know "side where sea turtles are" is literally 360 around the island 😅 And you wanna be close to everything, allso mention that meand close to the mosque😂 North/west side quiet ;) east side at harbour, night market and "turtle beach" has mosque aswell, quit loud prayer at 5:30ish in the morning
