The dancing because you have the house to yourself is SOOO real 🤣. Yesterday my husband had a play date with his brother and he took the children. They were gone for well over 3 hours and I had so much fun with it being silent 😂
That’s an awesome feeling, and I experience this even more now that we only have our 19 year old twins at home!
Our 33, 30, and 28 year old have all moved out , but we love when they visit!

I don't normally comment but this time I had to! I'm so glad to know that parents like us still exist. I REFUSE to listen to the radio or anything it projects because these "songs" are outrageous!!! I agree with everything you said. I literally only listen to jazz and gospel music when my kids are with me too!

I have stories and characters in my head that I started when I was in elementary school. Decades have passed and they're still with me. Instead of reading, sometimes I'll close my eyes and "write" another chapter of their story in my head. I can do that for hours. Literally creating my own movie in real time. Its my favorite activity in the world ❤

😂 I feel you! I listen to jazz in the car too because it’s so calm and relaxing, and I definitely don’t play crazy music around my kids. They won’t be the cool kids singing every word of the popular music at family gatherings but oh well!

OMG, I feel the same way.. I love my own company, jammin to what I want to listen to and vibin out.. and I don't know if it's age or my introverted side but my social battery depletes after a couple hours, I like being at home and chillin.. I’m the same way Kim , I have never had any best friends. Although I’m an extravert according to my family. I do enjoy talking to associates and family, but I have been disappointed by so called friends, so I’m okay enjoying my family and my alone time!

Sleep training my twins was the best thing I could do!! I started dream feeding at 3 months. They are so cute 😍😍😍

I started my toddler at one in her own room. Her bedtime was 6:30 pm and slept until 6:30/7am. Everyone was so surprised!

I became interested in Japanese at an early age and I had the opportunity to take Japanese class in high school and I loved it! Also, I totally agree with you on the introvert things 😊 I am the same way.
Love the Watercolors station and Dr 🎷 , smooth jazz is my go to genre. Introverts need that alone time 💯

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with being an introvert. In honesty, most people are introverts and they know it. Some may try and come off like their not, just to want people to think otherwise, because they are stuck on wanting to have this perfect looking looking, but, like I tell anyone, no one has a perfect life. No 2 people are 100% the same. Embrace all of the things that makes you unique and special, and bask in the glory of that. I like going out and enjoying myself away from home, but I also enjoy the comforts of being at home too. The only thing that I say is never good for ones, mind, body and spirit is to engage in isolation. Because, when you isolate yourself from the world as much as you can, there’s a deep underlying issue or issues that you must seek to resolve and conquer, in order to live a more balanced, life overall. Because, the world itself is not a bad place and neither are most people in it. To have an optimistic view of life, and never a pessimistic one instead. It will make a world of difference towards one’s overall mental well-being and sense of happiness in the best of ways for sure.

You came to Long Beach? My hometown, you were along Shoreline Drive in Shoreline Village. I have very fond memories of spending Sundays with my Mom in Shoreline Village going shop to shop and enjoying coffee, ice cream, lunch at Parker's Lighthouse or Tequila Jack's. I don't believe the Merry-Go-Round is still there but that would have been fun for your babies. Yeah, Long Beach has quite a few "areas" within that have a whole different vibe. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay.
Can't wait for the backyard reveal; I'm fine either way with showing the sleep training or not ... my youngest offspring will be graduating high school in 2025!🎉

Welcome to Cali/LA.Yes the LBC is beautiful. Back in the 90's and early 2000's my friend would fly into LBC Airport and I would visit during the day (even take off work 😂). Sometimes they would have several vendors out there like a flea/Farmers Market. Now, you got me wanting to take another visit since it's been awhile.
So true about the music these days . SMH my kids don’t know half the mess on the radio some of the stuff you can’t get away from because they play it everywhere but I try my hardest
