Nice-looking instrument but surely a promo of this sort would benefit from some playing examples, so your prospective customer can hear the instrument at work. You could also use that approach to show how the various options such as different woods affect the sound.
Great point! We already have a lot of videos out there with Corrado playing this instrument, this was meant for Morrie himself to introduce it but we'll take your consideration into account. Here's a video you'll love: th-cam.com/video/C95fX9I-BJA/w-d-xo.html

It's a great work! What is the warranty period for this model developed to solve the crack problem of wooden instruments? A well-made high-end instrument would not have an extremely narrow market. Even amateur players like me can consider buying the instrument if they are sure of its excellence. For consumers to be sure, it is natural for BMS to first show its confidence in its products. The warranty period will represent your own conviction.
Good afternoon, the warranty on our Custom clarinets is 2 years from the date of purchase. For more details, and to discuss your musical needs, please contact us at sales@backunmusical.com
I don't understand how wrapping a wooden core with carbon fiber is going to reduce people's perception of the instrument " blowing out." Further, how does this prevent the wooden interior from shrinking away from the carbon fiber shell in extremely low humidity such as desert climates?
@@kaziiqbal7257 it would dissipate through the exposed wood in the bore of the instrument and the tone holes, of course. Which could lead to checking in the wood, etc...
I guess the way the carbon is applied on top of the clarinet is a proprietary secret. But it causes me enormous curiosity. Mr. Morrie, I'd pay to just talk to you for a bit.
Wow..looks amazing.. clearly some awesome engineering and thought gone into this...FedEx me one over and I'll make a couple of Video's playing it... :-) (cheeky i know..lol)

They just refuse to make a professional-grade synthetic clarinets right? Because their profits will drop when they can't sell overpriced wooden clarinets that crack anymore.
Great question! We use a wood core to maintain the warmth of sound that has made us all fall in love with the clarinet. After years of testing, we've found this particular combination to provide the best sound possible.

Very cool to see carbonfiber get used for woodwinds. Excellent work!
I played these at Midwest Clinic 2018, fell in love with both cocobolo and grenadilla versions, but preferred the grenadilla a little more.
So glad you enjoyed it Joshua, maybe one day you'll own one! When you're ready you know where to find us. :)
Yes please!
This is beautiful

cool!
The only two things I could ask for in a clarinet is not cracking and the pads not messing up and falling out.
I think you'll find the durability of the custom Black Leather pads to be exceptional!
@@backunmusical really? That's pretty cool. If that is the case, are the leather pads more resistant to water than other pads?
Then they should stop making them using materials that absorb moisture and crack.
I want this!
I would like to purchase this are there any available to buy

Brian Billings if it’s wrapped in carbon fiber, where would the moisture go?
