Great video as always guys. The 2020 stormtrooper is just one of those figures where you look at it on the shelf and you get shocked that it’s only a $25 action figure. Any and all repaints will be accepted and it’s amazing that it’s being constantly rereleased it seems. Still need to get me a sandtrooper for my imperial trooper shelf section.

My list is comprised mainly of jedha patrol stormtrooper. I love that it can be stripped down to a basic stormtrooper and somehow it’s still quite affordable. Incinerator and mortar trooper are basically the same so I count them as the same. Love the list guys, pretty solid. That sand trooper at #1 though- I dunno guys, it’s time to dethrone it with the new mold

The Mando stormtrooper MOLD was the game changer, but that release had a lot of issues with head deformations QC w/gluing helmets.
The later releases of this mold seemed to resolve this.
I agree with your #1! My only issue with them is the eye paint/alignment issue, but otherwise awesome. IF they did release a new version, with the hold helmet sculpt on the new bod, that could work...🤔
Lastly, I know it's not BS, but the Bandai Stormy model is also great. Cheers!
Yeah since it was a case to case basis I don't really hold that against the figure. I've had a sloppy black line or two, but never any warping. And I got a few when they first came out. Thanks for watching, Sky Rider! -Justin

Your love affair with that Sandtrooper is legendary. I'm not a fan of the mid-quality splotchy weathering or pinned joints myself, but agreed with the rest of you list. Nice work!

What do you mean by splotchy? That thing is evenly coated in dust and grime, just like a sandtrooper should be. Agree with you on the pinned joints tho, I much prefer the new style.
Shadow Squadron trooper is #1. Or at least #1 as far as coolest looking. I can see tbe argument for the sand trooper because it came with a lot of extras but Shadow trooper came with a couple extras as well.

What about the SCOUT TROOPER??!!! 😅😅 I always watch, but I never listen!! Good list and hard to argue with, but I would push the Jump trooper helmet into the 'owd mix.... Not absolutely, purist, traditional, but a banging "lid" to be sure!

Hello David, the Jump Trooper is a good figure.
Scout Trooper is a "bucket head" just a different style bucket. Not all "buckets are the same shape and size.

Got 40 of the original orange box stormtrooper. Currently standing at 4 of the new 2020 stormtrooper. I’ll try to get it up to 20. I’ve got the variants on the 2020 mold. Countless other Empire army builders. At least 8 of each. You can never have enough imperials!

Great list, I think the only thing I would change is somehow get the Jedha patrol trooper in there, black dots or not I love that figure, but a top 5 is hard to do.

The only Solo figure I have is Dryden Vos, so I did not know how good those Solo troopers are! Definitely will have to pick those up at some point. Would also love to see a Top 5 Imps video!

The Patrol Trooper, Shadow Troopers and the Mandalorian 2020 Stormtrooper are in a three-way-tie for my top 3.
My #4, #5, & Honorable mention slot are also tied.
The First Order Stormtrooper.
I just love that helmet design.
And then, Phasma and Cardinal.
I love the silver armor. And I'm a sucker for a Red Stormtrooper.
Basically my top "6" are tied.
EDIT: oh I forgot about the Purge Trooper.

As a child i was obsessed with Stormtroopers but it's been replaced with good guys Clone Troopers and now i don't have a single regular stormie yet. (Got a carbonized Scout Trooper and a Shadow Stormtrooper but no whitey boi.) Odd. Very odd. I've got to get me one of those.

The patrol trooper is cool for sure, but the white plastic they used is different from other trooper white, which stands out as odd to me. Agreed they should've released the bike. Now I have to design or print one.

Good list. But one of my favorites is the Jedha Patrol Stormtrooper with the antennae back pack (that looks and works best when setup UNDERNEATH the pauldron). Now if only Hasbro would update your beloved Sandtrooper with the new body it would go down in history as one of the best action figure of all time in any franchise, not just Star Wars.
