    I just watched that episode and was upset they that stupid jury could find him guilty on zero evidence.
    His son being with him the whole time besides 1 minute water breaks should've been enough reasonable doubt.
    Basically convicting him because (as usual) "he didn't act right".
    Also that judge gave him life without parole when he's suppose to be a professional and knew there was nothing proving him guilty.
    The American justice system really sucks!

      I was shocked at the conviction as well. I really half expected the judge to override the jury and tell them that there was legally not enough evidence to convict him. Unlike the fact that he can’t make the attorney’s objections for them…. I believe he could have directed a not guilty verdict BEFORE it went to the jury. Or maybe just a directed decision to dismiss the case on grounds that the state lacked sufficient evidence. There was a disconnect on the explanation of what is real evidence and what is not evidence to the jury!

    I feel bad, this guy had horrible lawyers.
    His lawyer wouldn’t go with the accident theory he wanted to.
    Anybody who has worked on a farm, in a compound or hanger or anything of the sort knows it is VERY common to designate people to get equipment from other areas.
    All this math talk. What if she fell on the rake in a small barn hallway and as she was pushing herself up and twisting away fell back down onto it, seems there would be more than 4 holes to me. She would not die immediately and could be crawling for help thus rolled to her stomach. The reality of being able to hit someone with a rake accurately and powerfully enough twice in succession and kill them with no bruising and defensive injuries is hard to accept for me.
    What if the son did it ?
    That audio recording stuff was smokescreen garbage.
    The only things that could potentially condemn him are the google searches but he could have just been curious what ancient cultures used to do to cheating, unfaithful partners. It made me curious to know from seeing that search history.
    If the video equipment could have been tampered with. This is the biggest problem.
    I hope he gets another trial….

    • @mitchellwintercat
      @mitchellwintercat หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah but she had been a habitual cheater and he had made multiple concessions to keep the family together. I'm not saying it warranted any kind of violence but the frustration level must have been pretty high. I can see him trying to catch her cheating again, especially since the surgery she was recovering from THAT day was an abortion 2/3 days before. Maybe he was searching catching a cheating wife and that suggestion came up. Algorithms offers individual interests, as in "the history of cheating wives," or any manner of other rabbit trails to keep you clicking. The guy kept the kids going to afterschool stuff and the daily weight of a family while she traveled multiple times on party cruises with all her friends. This during busy harvest times, etc. She was meeting up w the farm equipment salesmen to commit adultery in his truck while the guy made weekly visits to Mills' farm. The salesmen projected to leave his wife only after his kids were grown. She was a known cheater by his friends before they even married. She had also spent weeks away at a brother's? house planning to have a place if she divorced. Mullins seemed to make many concessions. My question was why would it be on this day when she was seemingly being more involved and a part of family for him to strike her in a rage? He sure didn't "have the time," during thus cycle of the pigs and field issue.

  • @FredFlintstone21

    A farmer is NOT going to kill his wife with a huge load of piglets on their way. What was happening before the corn rake? She was very dizzy and Todd had her stop, go rest, but oh hey can you grab the pet carrier? When do people fall and have accidents? When they have dizziness! And let's say he did it. Does it make sense to send his son in to find his mom? No.

    • @TentinQuarantino_
      @TentinQuarantino_ 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Seriously. It’s impossible to know if you poked someone with a corn rake twice, that it’s certain they’re dead. He’s not going to then mosey back over and wait for his son to find a possibly still-living witness who could attest that he stuck her.

  • @LillithYvonne
    @LillithYvonne 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +10

    This is a case that is heavy on my thoughts, your analysis of the wounds made me gasp because the twisting of the rake makes perfect sense. Even if she didnt pass out, she could have simply been in shock or inable to move due to the injuries to her back/near her spine. They accused him of saying "cheating wh*re" on the 9 1 1 call when I believe he was saying "1 2 3 4" while counting aloud during chest compressions. There are endless theories here but, as I'm sure you agree with, the most obvious scenario is usually the truth. Im still shocked at how far they reached for the conclusion they came to, much less that so many people agreed with it.

    The defense surrendered the accident theory in opening statements, but I really feel like it is likely what really happened. But it bothers me how Todd seemed to be pretty ok about the cheating and made no strong denials during the police interview. I think he had way too much going on to plan a murder that day. Also according to their son Todd Mullis asked his wife to do what would have amounted to a halfminute job in a shed on her way back into the house. The state then said he waited until his son SOMETIME THAT MORNING went to get a drink so he could go to the shed and do the dirty deed. But he would have had to have assumed she was long gone from the shed. He did not give her a long lasting job in that shed. Does the state think she was knitting booties in the shed so she could be there when Todd got a chance to go to the shed. It's an utterly goofy conclusion that the state made, that the defence didn't catch, and that the jury fell for. God bless that man and his children.

      @@teddyjam8134, the internet searches were hers. It's pretty clear that she was the one with add, when he searched something he searched it once, she would skip from one thing to another, it's pretty common. He was doing cpr and gasping 3-4 which would sound a lot like cheating whore. He was mouth breathing, try doing 2 minutes of cpr and say anything, And yes a backwards fall from standing absolutely could cause the first cornrake injury, the second was when the cornrake rotated, he was a substantial enough man he could have pulled out the cornrake and struck her again. There wasn't a second blow, the rake rotated, her weight would've been enough for a shallow pierce through thin rib muscle. And I highly doubt he would have missed. Twice...

      @@addysbeeandgarden320 Do you not know people watched that trail? Those internet searches were not hers, and his gasping for air is laughable. I heard "whore" on that 911 call. And no one with any common sense would believe that a person especially a person of her size could fall backwards with enough force for that corn rake to impale her body. Also, what about him smirking on the witness stand when the prosecutor asked him about the 911 call? No husband who loves his wife would do that. I don't know you, but if you are a person who values the truth, I think you need to take another look at everything you've said here. Not sure why some of you guys want to coddle criminals.

    Also this lady's video has a very good point which never got mentioned, which strikes me as it being an accident. The rake inpaling her twice in the same spot. Unless the 'murderer' was a professional darts player its really unlikely. But if you've fell on top of it & your trying to pull it out while you're panicking in extreme pain, there's a chance she could have fell on to it again at a different angle while part of it was still stuck in her chest.

      Hot garbage, I could have done a better job of defending him! Imo, I would have never allowed the prosecution to say what they thought he was saying on the 911 tape. I didn't get into it on the video, but after carrying her to the car, and then doing cpr, there's no way he was saying sentances. He was making the noise of someone who was winded pushing air out of his lungs in order to get a bigger breath the next time. It's called a mondegreen, and it shouldn't have been allowed, period. There are several tiktok videos proving this. I think he was trying to count coupled with the "ch" sound that an athlete makes. Have you ever seen the "Friends" episode where Rachel runs and she's going ch ch ch with every breath? It's a valid way to ensure proper oxygenation. At the beginning he was saying one, two, one two; eventually it switched to three, four, three, four, which could sound like cheating whore when coupled with the ch sound. There's a lot of things I would have rebutted like the weight of the kennel. Weight is subjective. He's a big farmer, strong, he didn't think the kennel was that heavy, he was likely the person who put it up, to him, it wasn't that heavy, it was no big deal, he probably swung it up into position single handed. My husband can carry one in each hand no problem. I can only carry 1, in the front but he doesn't think about that when he asks me to grab them because to him it was no big deal to carry them around.

The fact that her coat had only 4 punctures eliminates the possibility that anyone at all was wielding that rake. There's no evidence at all that he exploded. He had already forgiven 1 affair, and probably was trying to pretend the second didn't happen. He went and picked her up and took care of her for several days after the surgery. Her family lived close by and her mom wasn't there to pick her up or help out? You couldn't keep my mom away after surgery, she would have been right there at the center waiting with my husband, cleaning my house afterwards, taking care of the kids, bowing to my every whim, but she wasn't. Her surgery was likely something quick, and simple like a tubal or an ablation or both and no one thought it was a big deal, including her. He didn't ask for her help, she came out and asked to help. Weight is absolutely subjective, this was a big strong farmer. There's a difference between gym strong and farm boy strong, and that guy was farm boy strong. In his brain, that kennel weighed nothing, and he was giving her an easy chore that didn't require her to stand on a bucket, and was a lot closer to the house AND he didn't ask her to bring it back, he asked her to put it outside the building it was in. She could have also said "no I think that kennel is too heavy", or "I didn't feel good enough to get the kennel, I'm going to go lay down", but she agreed. She's got plenty of patient advocate experience, she fights dumb doctors for a living. Furthermore, medical people are the worst most non-compliant patients on the face of the planet (ask me how I know). She knew what she was supposed to do after the surgery, she could have reread the discharge instructions and stayed her ass in bed, but she didn't. He didn't ask for her help, she went out looking for work.

      You mentioned yourself that she just had surgery and was dizzy. Occam's Razor.

      First off, nothing you offered was "proof". Also, must be fun to make up your own evidence.
      You're literally making up scenarios out of thin air and calling them "proof"
      So now her wounds are from nails in the wall?? And where exactly is your proof that there were nails in the wall?
      You do realize that it was 25°F that day, right? It was a cold, chilly November day and she was wearing a thick coat. No way with all those layers on is she going to get scratched by backing into nails lol.
      Secondly, it's impossible that she accidentally fell with enough force to puncture her internal organs, not once, but twice. Sorry, the only way that force is possible is by someone swinging it at her.
      Another thing, the coroner never said Amy was definitively hit with the rake 3 times. She said 2 times, and possibly 3.
      Also, are we supposed to ignore all the rest of the evidence? The internet searches. Amy's own words where she's telling people "if anything happens to me", telling others possible places she might be found if she went missing.

      He had already exploded, or was about to.
      His internet searches, for one, tell a very different story than the one you're claiming. You can tell by the things he looked up, that he was secretly seething.
      Secondly, Amy said herself on the very day it happened, that things were very tense. She also made it very clear that she feared him and feared for her life
      Lastly, he had not forgiven the first affair. Because if he had, he wouldn't have had her on such a short leash and had her reporting to him every time she went somewhere and timing her each time she left the house.

    Listen to the trial. Twisting evidence to make a TH-cam video means NOTHING!!!. Her version of the second strike??? Laughable. EAsily explained by victim moving after the first strike.
