I feel bad for Michaels understudy in those plays. They prepare for the rare occurrence that the lead gets injured, and this guy got multiple serious enough injuries for the understudy to get called up, but he goes on injured instead!?

I hate that Michael Urie is proud of getting injured and still finishing the show. This is not heroic behavior. It is not something to brag about. It is phony macho the-show-must-go-on nonsense. Working hurt in theatre should not be normalized. Theatre producers should have the courage to intervene and not exploit actors this way.
