I fvcking love it. One of my favourite song of all time, but this is not smile, this band called Left Handed Marriage and this was Brian's project next to Smile and 1984
@@idontevenknowanymore8463there was original upload of this song on TH-cam but I think it’s vanished completely. Check their whole album “on the right side left handed marriage” really good psychedelic folk
Interesting to see how Brian May carried his guitar at an angle back then... it's lower and nearer his waist these days... I also wonder with the Smile lips logo which came first, Smile or the Rolling Stones lips with a tongue...
Brian’s guitar weighs a ton, so he’s probably more than used to the weight of it by now and The Rolling Stones logo, AKA Hot Lips was designed by the English art designer John Pasche for the band in 1970, so yeah, Smile came first
So this is Left-Hand Marriage and not Smile. A lot of people are saying this really is Smile but that is not Tim Staffel singing lead. It does sound like a Staffel written song and the harmonies sound like Smile.
Could somebody write down a few verses of the song, please? I don't get everything, and when I try to find the lyrics by writing "Smile appointment lyrics" I got dentists websites... ^^' That would be VERY nice of you, thank you! :)
I think in the early 70's Tim was definitely just as good as Freddie, if not better. Freddie really developed as a singer only by the mid-to-late seventies and reached his prime in the early eighties when his voice became the most powerful (Montreal show is the best example).
Why you even mentioning Freddie? This song and the band for that matter has fuck all to do with Freddie, Roger or John or Queen as a whole. The song is by The Left Handed Marriage, which featured Brian on guitar
It's nice to see how Brian and Roger's style changed over the years :)

Lyrics:
You come home from late night parties
Tiptoe kiss, there's nothing that you miss
Chased by all the rich at parties
Do you leave sometime at three
Now we've lost our old enjoyment
I'm your friend, I don't need an appointment

Social tramp, political land
You can talk on almost anything
But you rise in your conversation
I know I'm no great excitement
I'm your friend, I don't need an appointment
Well you try to get by
Without your friends you've left behind
Folks you meet who smile so sweet
Can be unkind to you and even let you down
Average craze, can only last nine days
This week on the sights and nights of town
Whatever next you're just out of context
Please forgive all this discouragement
I'm your friend, I don't need an appointment
But you try to get by
Without your friends you've left behind
Folks you meet who smile so sweet
Can be unkind to you and I won't help you
All avoid all that is destroyed
So before you vanish out of view

Life goes on but spare the sentiment

Dear Brian, it's so easy to find that your favourite band was the Beatles !! I love you 💗💖💚
I think he got his hairstyle inspiration from hendrix

So this is Left-Hand Marriage and not Smile. A lot of people are saying this really is Smile but that is not Tim Staffel singing lead. It does sound like a Staffel written song and the harmonies sound like Smile.

Dvir Yitzchaki Thank you for your answer! :)
(And I'm sorry I mistook this for a Smile song... Shame on me.)
@@92zuzu130 The shame’s not on you but on the channel’s mislabeling the song!
Look for an album called "Nova Solis" by the band Morgan, released in 1972. It features Tim Staffell on vocals and YES, he was as good as Freddie
Yes!
The most underrated artist
It's on spotify.

This is not Smile!! This is The Left Handed Marriage!

Music : left hand marriage
I guess Brian played guitar in this album
Sorry not Rogers or Brians back vocals....
When did Roger drop The Cross?
Late 80’s
Start or end? The cross ended in 1993 btw
I don't think so!! It's Left Hand Marriage! It's not Live either.
Sorry but this song called "Appointment" IS by Smile. You are mistaken.
What's your source?
I know every Smile song. This Left Handed Marriage. There are no Smile recordings in this quality.
Song is NOT smile and fuck all to do with Smile for that matter
Clearly influenced by The Beatles 😂
No Freddie .... Ordinary, good but ordinary music .... Gueen means the difference. I mean, not without Freddie, I'm sorry.
The song isn't even a smile recording
Fred's in college with them only...
Fred's being vibin all along
This isn't Smile's
