Yes!!! I felt so pressured by people in my life when I started drawing to do realism. This made me hate realism and never wanted to do it. I have been trying recently to enjoy doing more realistic things, but I can still hear the tiny voice in the back of my head that is telling me I don't want to. Art is a form of expression ✨️ people should not feel forced to do one thing!!!

My dreams is to draw a anime girls and boys so I’m practicing to draw so good. Even tho my classmate ( best friend ) is so good at drawing I’d loved her drawing but if you copy people’s art you sometimes you don’t learn anything that means you are suck at drawing. And by the way if you want to be an artist or good drawer you should probably practice or you will be an artist And I love your drawing sparkle drawz it’s sooo amazing
I really appreciate your drawings and secondly I supported you with all your points but I think we should agree with the last point because nowdays every platform for digital drawing gives some artistic look to their pens and markers, but in traditional art be have to be sure that we make that each detail perfect, weather we use pencils or markers . Like even you, use pencil colors but digital art will do it in seconds.
slightly off topic, but kinda related, in the first season of attack on titan when the characters were llearning to use their mobility gear things, erens belt was busted, but he still tried and even tho it was busted it actualy ended up working for like a few moments. then he got a working belt and was able to do it just fine and better. I think this can be a metaphor, we can use decent supplies and work up our skills until we have enough money to get some more tools we would like to use that has better quality of life.

The point about "you need talent to become an artist" was so true ! When I started drawing I wasn't really good. My shading, arrangement and proportions where off. Even so, I continued to draw and try different tutorials and get inspiration from other artists and my art improved very well. When I show my artworks to my friends I mostly receive this comment the " You are so talented" and to me I really don't think that . I rather think that I'm just more skilled at drawing than most of the people around me. People really think that art talent whilst it actually a skill that can be learn and improved by everyone.
