I really dig the light painting and night scene modes on this phone. I wish LG would adopt a similar system as I'm having to use and nd filter to block out the light and still get a beautiful exposure for the entire image. Huawei did some nice things there.
Hi, i tried one of the demo phones in a Huawei store here in the philippines. Tried to take a video in 60fps at FHD and was disappointed with the lag/skipped frames when panning left to right. Do you have that issue too? Thanks
cezzarmicu It could be because the phone's software wasn't updated. Usually (as I've seen) the demo phones at shops aren't updated. Cause Huawei gave an update to fix alot of the camera bugs.

Tried the iPhone as people keep saying iPhones are more stable and do not lag/stutter. I guess they lied :) on the flip-side, battery on the iP7plus is indeed great.
I am unable to use night shot in spite of visiting the store again again from where I purchased my Huawei Mate9. It will be a great help if you kindly show how to pursue NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY using HUAWEI MATE 9. In my case, while taking a photo at night (using NIGHT SHOT), the more light the camera is allowing to enter the photo is getting more more distorted & blurred. I am in a fix. Please help me.
it might me be the best camera on a smartphone.I didn't test it but everyone seems to be very happy with it.The device looks are very good...but it seems to have an average display ...from what I ve heard.Huawei is growing patiently every year.
Finally someone mentions night shot mode! I use it a lot on my Honor 8 and it's 👌.

Actually, the 20 MP camera is the monocromatic sensor which is actually an upconverted 12 MP sensor. The 12 MP sensor is the RGB camera.
Where does this fit in the Huawei range? Is it intended to replace the P9/P9+ or is it just another phone in their range?
