VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
After truck camping with her dogs in a Rav4, Erica, a former teacher, decided to take her two furry friends to the road. She decided to turn a van into a mobile home since she didn't want to return to the classroom. Erica converted her Ram ProMaster herself in just six months, and the outcome is remarkable. The vehicle has two 100 amp-hour lithium batteries, a DC to DC charger, and 400 watts of solar power.
A big sink, a camp stove, and butcher block counters with a pop-up edge can all be found within the van. Making the most of the small area is a full-size bed with overhead cabinets for storage.
She has two large canine pals and has outfitted her vehicle to accommodate them. Erica has tried to utilize every square inch of the room for storage and has set up an organized garage with dog supplies, sporting goods, and spare clothing.

Great job! I built out a 2017 ,159 Promaster. I never could figure out a good use above the sliding door. You nailed it. I can’t imagine you not having someone to hang out with. You’re smart, beautiful, and you have two dogs. :)

The hinges I have actually hold the doors open so I don’t need the extra ones! It was a great buy

No AC! I travel with the weather and when both fans are running and a window is cracked, it stays very comfortable in the van!
Where is the potty?
I have a composting toilet in the little bench area, it just wasn’t shown.

i slept in a sideways bed in one of those vans before, had the worst night in my life, in fact, i went out at 1am and slept on the street. lucky i was in spain during summer time. can't sit in it, can't have your legs straight, it feels like being buried alive in a box. some people don't mind, but it's definitely a huge con to be mentioned.

Always wish to know total weight of van/camper/etc. and gas mileage and cost. Please.

A lot of people who live nomadically use public showers, if they don't have a bathroom in their rig. :)
