Two different things these two are recharge is in a completely different category then great white and if you are to use a great white type of product go with root wise far more superior. Organic alive is the best in my opinion for powder additions. I am a soil guy that make my own soils and malted barley and malted seeds because it freezes that live giving enzymes and adds them to the soil is a go to choice with kelp meal as it has all the micro newts in one but use in small amounts beginning and lightly to the end of your harvest.
I appreciate the feedback, you have me curious about Rootwise, I'll have to check them out. I've done totally organic with soil as well, just never in the house. If you were to recommend a product for dutch bucket growing in a perlite medium what would you say I should use?
If your looking for the best soil mix to make as a jump point check out Jim Bennett and his coots mix most people use it for cannabis but it’s good for everything in my experience and a good worm casting is the best you can do aswell if u make everything in a worm bin and let them do there thing the finished worm casting is a one shot do it all amendment for any plant as the worms process everything and your left with a single additive to soil or make a liquid of it for hydroponic stuff takes time but well worth it
I've used Great Great White, Recharge, and Rootwise Complete in soil. Rootwise is a far superior product! I always dissect my pot to examine the root structure within a day of chopping. It's a pretty dramatic difference. Definitely check it out!
@@HouseDadLifeGrows I use all three! I've been using the Complete during the veg stage and the BioPhos in flower. I have been using the Enzymes only in flower with the BioPhos, but I have a sponsored Auto flower run by AutoSeeds starting in a few days and I'm going to start using the enzymes during veg stage also.
great white is mycorrhiza that thrive on roots. Recharge is beneficial bacteria that thrive in soil. Recharge is great for soil. I use both Recharge and Great white.
To be fair they are for different purposes. Great white is primarily used for root health and nutrient uptake where Recharge is primarily a microbial blast. I use Great White during veg and give recharge when its time to fruit. They both can be used throughout, but to get maximum benefit they should be used in order.
I used their Orca for hydro in dwc, absolutely no fan! Advanced Nutrients line-up is way too expensive, got rid of that... Now i got the stinky Arka microbe life photosynthesis plus, great stuff!
I like this format, but you should also do lettuce or something else fast growing and leafy that you can grow 5+ of each. And you should use a different container for each, maybe use small kratky set ups? This is to give you a larger sample group, as a lot of this could just come down to the genetics lottery. A sample size of one is not very much. And growing them all in one bucket means any small environment difference will affect all of that group and be harder to notice.
@HouseDadLifeGrows have you thought about a small nft channel or a PVC tower build? Both are really simple and either could be a whole video on their own.
I have played around with concentrations a bit and can't say I can tell any difference. Because of this my current method of use is a direct dusting to the roots. Maybe this warrants and actual a and b test to see what the results say.
You should mix up the recharge the way it's a directed from the directions You're not mixing it correctly and you don't top dress with it you're mixing it up incorrectly
Others have had success with recharge, I'm not that guy, I've tried it in many ways, it just didn't work for me at all, but I'm growing vegetables and fruit after all.
Recharge is usually used in soil or coco not in a recirculating dwc setup. It needs structure to form colonies of microbes.
Someone had asked me to test this that's how it happened I had never heard of it.

Which rootwise product do you recommend?

Great to hear you have your setup dialed, keep it growin!!
I love these comparisons.thank you sir
Glad you like them!

Good tip thanks for sharing! Welcome to the channel!
Great white is amazing. Not only helps with root development also prevents root rot
I love the stuff, used to have minor root trouble, haven't had a single root problem in years since using this stuff, I love it.
I gotta say, that was a bad ass side by side tutorial... really nice brother... because of this im gonna sub... ✌️
Appreciate that, thanks, welcome to the channel!
Very nice test! You should try something like Advanced Nutrients Organic Line (Iguana?) vs GH Trio!
Glad you liked the test, that could end up in a future trial.
I used their Orca for hydro in dwc, absolutely no fan!
Advanced Nutrients line-up is way too expensive, got rid of that...
Now i got the stinky Arka microbe life photosynthesis plus, great stuff!
Thanks for sharing your experience! May have to add that one to the list of what to test.
Yeeeeah I tried recharge for my dwc setup just doesn’t work. Nothing organic does for me
Good to hear I'm not the only one that struggles with recharge.
How about great white and stash blend?
Stash blend, I'll take a look.

I have thought about taking this setup to the next level. It comes down to available grow space.
@HouseDadLifeGrows have you thought about a small nft channel or a PVC tower build? Both are really simple and either could be a whole video on their own.
Would be intresting to see Great While in a 10x concentration vs a standard application.
Or Great White vs Great White and Recharge used together.
I have played around with concentrations a bit and can't say I can tell any difference. Because of this my current method of use is a direct dusting to the roots. Maybe this warrants and actual a and b test to see what the results say.
Dads that grow, are Rad fo' Show!
Ha ha ha love it!
24c tells me absolutely nothing
Recharge makes no sense in any type of hydro system, my opinion.
Agreed

Recharge brings brown roots because it’s BROWN duhhhhhhh 😂
The roots that are brown in the video are dead and rotting.
@ oh damn I don’t go thru the rotten problems I use a light dosage of recharge the better but Great White is great I use both
But part of it is the color of the bacillus 🦠 n molasses in recharge
Your insignia is a little too close to Rob from cltv. You should change it out of respect. Don’t be riding coattails over here.
I'll have to take a look, it's literally just an H D L for housedadlife with a plant ring, hmm, here I thought I was original.
