I just came from owning an Audi A6 2 liter turbo and a Porsche 911 and I can say that my Mercedes E 350 has plenty of power even in economy mode. As for mileage I get in suburban traffic 25 mpg and 34 mpg in non traffic situations. As for comfort and quality I totally agree.

I own the 2023 E350 same interior as yours, with white on the outside. I just love this car, very elegant. Great review, thank you!

So how is the reliably in this specific car? Will they become money pits as they age?

I’ve always driven Mercedes and never had major issues. Why? Because I get ALL maintenance done. It’s only a money pit for those that can’t afford the maintenance. Simple.

@@jamesrichardson900 say no more, you answered my question. I have always changed my cars own brakes, oil, trans fluid. I think I should be good with a Mercedes then.

As they age it does get costly. They are not as reliable as Toyota, Honda & Mazda. I have a Mercedes E350 18 yrs old. However I spent @ $8000 to repair it the last 4 years. Towed it twice. However you always get a loaner. I am thinking about getting a new car but have mixed feelings @ Mercedes. They are beautiful & comfortable. Reliability is my main concern. Hope that helps.

R&T has zero to 60 about 6.1. I do not think that is ‘slow’?

Looks are subjective, but I think Mercedes overall look better over the years than Lexus. They have a more classical, almost timeless look. Reliability yes, Lexus prides itself in that, but Mercedes just does driving dynamics better. Not to be offensive, and some prefer it, the ES feels like a boat, while the Benz feels like a car.

Beauty is a very subjective criteria, and I think Lexus is ugly, whereas Mercedes has a timeless elegance. I am on my 3rd Benz, and they have been VERY reliable.

I understand it gets to 60 in about 6 seconds, which is pretty quick. This car is not meant to compete with muscle cars.
