- The 5/10 Special Weapon rating makes it the worst Special in the game on paper. This is a total lie. It's both versatile and powerful enough to warrant at least an 8/10 rating. I played Suburbs instead of Freeway this playthrough.
I think it's would've been neat if the car has the "just married" sign on the back with some cans tied to the back bumper by chains or ropes

im sure the devs thought about it but maybe due to engine limitations with physics it wasn't possible

I love that they brought back the screaming sound for the special from TM2. Spectre is my favorite TM vehicle. I'm still holding out hope we get a new one for ps4.
In my opinion they will. Eventually. If not the PS4 then the PS5. Sony features TM in PS Store backgrounds, has now had Black on 3 seperate consoles and put TM on the PS Classic. They clearly still want to market it as a blue-blooded Sony exclusive classic series. I think if anything TM2 gets a remake. It is the remaster era afterall.
@@PlatinumPlayer3 that's true. I kinda wish it was TM2 on the classic since it is deemed the best of the series but critics and fans. I also want the ps3 game to be remastered as well. Or at least release the cancelled dlc vehicles on PSN or something
@@Dork_Knight96_ I don't think they'll port TMPS3 over. It was rated decently but 95% of the buyers have bad tastes in their mouths due to the online network error fiasco. That game is dead as much as I hate to say it. I told my girlfriend the other day that maybe the reason they ported the less iconic TM1 onto the Classic instead of TM2 was because they have a TM2 remaster on their minds. She told me that was pretty wishful thinking XD
More than likely, it would be 1+2 like with THPS. They aren't exactly the biggest games considering. But they also pretty much dropped David Jaffe who had his hand in all but a few games (3,4,Head On,Small Brawl), and also remember that TM PS3 was kind of a failure (for multiple reasons, the final race can go fuck itself.) But, we will see how Sony is going to handle PS5. Destruction Allstars might just take its place.

Same for the LG. Though the ghost missile is harder to see, thus making it harder to avoid.
I have to say, the Suburbs has one of my favorite themes in this game. Right next to the complete track for Snowy Roads.
It's the rooftop theme from the very first game where you fight the last boss! ☺️
Found this game at a local used game store. Had to pick it up. Its challenging for sure but you make it look easy! I always play as spectre! Love her special!
I almost beat Story Mode on Hard for the first time using this car. Made it all the way to Warhawk before dying to his Boomerang-like weapon, trying to shot him from behind the barrier. I found its slightly easier to play Story Mode on Hard rather than Challenge Mode on Hard, the A.I. aren't super aggressive or just full on aggroed on you all the time.
Play it enough, hard becomes the preferred version.
I can say Bloody Mary is an awesome badass twisted metal character and I also did like her story which is pretty damn amazing!
IRONY: Despite my name: I HATED Spectre in TM2 with a passion! Between his frequent firing of his Special and how his AI always just ran away, it drove me crazy!
TM:B 's Spectre I think got it right on! Her missile makes a bee-line for you instead of zig zagging so it CAN be avoided easier. The trade-off is the damage got buffed!
Also: is it strange that I KINDA feel bad for Bloody Mary?
IDK if this is still relevant but yeah, considering the fact that she had a terrible love experience, I think it's kinda makes sense if we feel a little sympathetic toward her

Spectre: It's very fast, but one of the weakest vehicle. Especially the Special Weapon too.
Control: 9/10
Speed: 9/10
Armor: 3/10
Special: 5/10
Not really it's actually the fastest vehicle if you move well it's very hard to get attacked by the enemies the armor doesn't really feel that bad and the special is a lie it's better than warthog shadow preacher junkyard dog axel and darkside specials, it makes more damage than it says and it will connect 95% of the time and it also works agaist warhawk

spectre special is power missile, it looks similiar to power pickup icon, but when you take out power missile, it has flashing red light than drill-shaped missile.

I wish grasshopper had been included in this game, her story kind of fits in with all of this insanity, plus that vehicle is super unique to play
The only problem with Grasshopper is that Calypso doesn't know she exists. Or at the very least, he's aware of the vehicle, but doesn't know the true nature of the driver. So the idea of him approaching Krista when he doesn't know who she is in the first place would be hard. And it would be difficult to come up with a deeper meaning for her to have to Needles. I guess you could create a new driver for Grasshopper. Some other kind of cyborg, or a living weapon made to deceive Calypso. But Black kinda already covered that. So that would make it tricky.
@@bennitori4 shouldn’t it be needles who doesn’t know she exists? Calypso is probably gonna be aware of who’s the driver from the start since he personally invites them himself.
@@Hwje1111 In Twisted Metal 2, neither Calypso or Needles would know she exists. In Head On Calypso would know, and not Needles. But that came out after Black. So since neither of them would know, Calypso wouldn't know to invite her. And Needles wouldn't know to conjure her in his imagination.

I love the concept of the character and the car, but the truth is I would like it to have corroded makeup like in the character selection.
Did you know you can jump into the green Pizza structure on the first stage instead of trying to hit it? Saves a lot of time.

Warthog got the worst, at least he's the fastest tank type vehicle
Darkside’s special is fun and can be good if you know how to use it. Brimstone’s special is probably the worst of them all. Yellowjacket’s special is very good, a turbo boost and mega machine gun with the special can pretty much one hit anything
Doesn’t Yellowjackets special come at a cost, where if you ram someone with the special you get hit yourself?

To tell u the truth i had same "I want love so bad" type of issues like her.
I sometimes want a boyfriend/love like she does but then some boys & guys pushed me away, called me mean & nasty names (ugly, stinky, freak, creepy, etc...), throw things at me, fart on me, laugh at me & my 1st name, etc.... I never had boyfriend for my whole life. It's a huge shame & disappointment on those guys.
But finally I experience some bad relationships from my moms girly friend's & also my college bestie who had bad relationships.
Some of their boyfriends/husbands left them, cheat on them, not appreciating them act violent towards them, etc.....
I felt so sorry for the girls & women out there that had bad experience with love & relationships but we all need to support them by telling them to focus & think something positive, think about friends & family who loved u more than those unfaithful mens, enjoy your life, enjoy your freedom & enjoy your career.
For all the women out there needs to know 1 important thing - "MEN ARE NOT WORTH IT"!!!!!!

This goes for both men & women. When you have a toxic spouse/ significant other in your life, regardless of gender, it can really ruin everything. You may even be a little toxic yourself. It's important to recognize that stuff before you saddle yourself with someone else, so that you don't make their life hell, or for them to do the same.

I always thought that the groom in her ending would have been No-Face that was modified by Calypso to just cover his mutilated face with someone else's face.
this is when they started using fake cars instead of real ones. I miss the old spectre from 3 and 4 the Viper GtS and Lambo along with the other real cars from the past.
Overall, this version of Spectre could be based on Corvette.

It's still based on the Classic Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (from the 1 and 2 Installment) but this time it's the C3's iteration with a demonic post-apocaliptic modifications.

Freeway on Hard is Only for TM Veterans
I guess it's easier but Freeway isn't that hard on hard mode. Usually I stock up before finishing Junkyard. Then I run straight for the hospital and wait by the health pick up and destroy at least two cars, and then I head to the stadium area and kill one or two cars, then repeat.
